The room was great. We had a junior suite and it was great to have 2 rooms. We were on the 7th floor and we couldn't hear any traffic or noise from outside. The bed was very comfortable and the shower is fantastic. Also the breakfast is great. The location is perfect. Right next to the metro so you can get around easily. Also watching around La Ramblas area was perfect.

The room has some cosmetic damages, like scratches to the floorboard.

The Place is Grand with amazing history. Staff were amazingly helpful, Buffet breakfast was royal and restaurant super clean and large. Price of equivalent hotel in the area was double of this hotel.. Highly recommend this Palace hotel.

The Grand stair ways and the large Jr suite that we booked and the updated bathrooms and shower, not to mention amazingly helpful staff.

An amazing hotel I’ll start with the dear hotel employees that made our stay heavenly, so kind always up for a good advise and really gave us feeling like we know each other for long time. The rooms were always clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in the best location in the city between all the shopping stores you can imagine. Close to all main places to see and 5 min walk from the bus to airport. This is the only hotel I’m going back to in Barcelona

Although the Avenita Palace is a remarkably historical hotel, it remains one of the best locations in Barcelona and is managed very well. We were very pleased with our accommodations and the service was excellent.

Great room, excellent location and professional staff

The only issue seemed to be the air conditioning/ heating system was either not working or strangely under performing

The staff were wonderful! The hotel is beautiful.

The bed was uncomfortable. Too hard. We stayed in the old part of the hotel. We learned that the new part had very comfortable beds.

Need to change the room furniture ex: carpets, sofa and curtains as they are very old

The location was perfect. The bed and linens were great. Gabriella at the front desk and the other staff were very helpful. The room was extremely clean. The breakfast buffet was very good. The slippers, lotions and amenity kits were great. The room was quiet even though it was on the Main Street. The check in and check out process was very easy. It was nice to have a free drink at the rooftop bar.

The bathroom seemed like it didn’t have a fan/ventilation so the whole bathroom was wet from the mirrors to the counters after a shower and stayed hot and humid for a long time. It was a little warm in the bedroom and I couldn’t tell any difference when I turned on the A/C.

The location first of all was great. Walk-in distance to some of the main attractions (Casa Batlo, Casa Milla, Arc de Trioumf, etc). You have bus stops near by and also a Hop-on-Hop-off bus stop at like 3-4 min walking distance from the hotel. Great restaurants with great tapas at like 1-2 min from the hotel The breakfast was very good, very fresh and delicious

It was a little bit to hot (at the night we couldn’t leave the AC on and the bed cover was to hot for this time of the year). It wasn’t very different but the room we received was not the one in the pictures used when we booked the room

Fantastic location - very easy to get to from the bus stop. Lovely room as described (we had a junior suite). Reception staff all very helpful. Small fridge in room very effective (nice and cold). Plenty of towels and bath robes. Comfortable bed. Can't vouch for the pillows as we took our own, but they did not appear to be particularly supportive. Rituals complimentary shampoo / shower gels regularly topped up.

The soft furnishings were all stained which was very off-putting (room 511). The complimentary bottles of water were too small (only 250mls) in 40 degree heat!! View from roof not great....very small pool and not many places to sit. Not very relaxing.
