I have stayed in a lot of swank hotels over the years. Expensive, swank hotels. Jumeriah, ShangriLa, Ritz, Mandarin Oriental......and I can honestly say that this is the best, best, best hotel I have ever stayed at, at least from my point of view. Location, accommodation, staff, breakfast.....all as perfect as it can be. I can not say enough good about this place. Wow!

The location was excellent—right in the heart of everything and easy to get around. Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety. The staff truly made the difference, especially Pilar at reception, who was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay.

We weren’t informed in advance that the pool was closed, which was disappointing. To their credit, the hotel compensated us with free breakfast during our stay. However, the room felt quite small for the price, and although we requested a bright room, it was dark and somber. The bathroom was also extremely uncomfortable in terms of layout and usability.

Great hotel in the center of Barcelona, the location is superb, right next to Casa Batlló. The decoration is modern and stylish, maybe the size of the room was a bit on the small side, but enough for a couple. Really clean and comfy bed. Our room was facing the street so the view was very nice and lively. Maybe the only two small negative points regarding the room is not having a coffee machine (there's a kettle with coffee and tea, but it had a bit of a chemical odour), and the shower door seals needed to be changed as a bit of water leaked out. But as I said, small details in an overall great stay! Great and varied breakfast, and the rooftop terrace is a great plus to have some drinks and food. Definitely will look coming back in future visits.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet, shower pressure was good, plenty of towels. We liked the quirky decor and enjoyed a cocktail and some food up on the rooftop bar. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Sweeties left on the bed on our arrival and jars of them on the reception desk to help yourself to, as well as water. The location was excellent, within 3 minutes' walk to Casa Batlo, the metro and numerous cafes as well as the posher brand shops on the main street (Loewe, Chanel, Burberry, etc).

The shower tray did overflow a little, despite the door being closed, possibly because the water pressure was quite strong. There was the usual notice asking you to leave your towels on the floor if you wanted them changed. We left ours on the rails but they were still changed.

The location is pretty unbeatable, just right next to Passeig de Grácia with its designer shops and steps away from the gorgeous Casa Batló. All of the staff that work in the reception are great, kind, polite, friendly. The bed is big, comfortable and has nice bed sheets. Love the decor also, very modern and maximalist, the bedroom isn't too big but the bathroom is great. I didn't get a chance to check the pool as it was winter season, so I can't speak to that. Overall, would stay here again and it was definitely a great choice.

The hotel is beautiful and room had everything we needed, including toiletries, kettle, tea, coffee and a hairdryer. The decor is wonderfully quirky and we had a balcony which was nice to people watch from up high. Staff were friendly and attentive, although there was a guy at the rooftop bar who was a bit abrupt when we went up to have a drink and bluntly informed us we had to get back in the lift and go elsewhere due to a private function. Not great when you pay high price for 3 nights at a hotel that promises you a rooftop bar. Also, the speakeasy staff not great either. Long wait to be served when the place was extremely quiet. One lady we asked repeatedly for a drink and she just kept walking off without even responding to us. Bit weird. Reception staff were excellent! The location is fab, and easy to walk to anywhere you want to go. We arrived on Saint Jordi’s Day and the streets were full of stalls selling roses and books. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. We paid for breakfast to be included in our room price, which I highly recommend. Well worth the money as the choice of breakfast items is huge!! All in all a fabulous experience, just a shame about the staff in the rooftop bar and speakeasy. Having a bar on site is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. However, there are places to go nearby.

Boutique hotel right in the best spot of Barcelona where you can find great shops and restaurants. Personnel really friendly and attentive. Breakfast was superb and there was so much variety. Bed was really comfortable and this is a big plus. Very safe neighborhood as well.

Room not very ergonomic as the wardrobes have been designed more to appeal to the aesthetics rather than serve their purposes. However, the bathroom/toilet due to lack of space is unpleasant and quite smelly. Also, they haven't really thought the toilet door function which makes a click sound and basically wakes up anyone in the room. For such a chain hotel, you would think they would have better ergonomic ideas. Another minus, is the rooftop bar where the chairs, stools etc looked so cheap and not welcoming at all to have a drink.

Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. We loved the design of this hotel, very quirky and stylish which is what attracted us in first place; the lobby smells amazing! The location is excellent and we had a stunning view from our balcony. The room was spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was abundant and of great quality. Great rooftop bar too! We would definitely consider coming back again!

We could only find a small flaw: they could use some new towels, as the ones we got were falling apart a little while using them, but this definitely did not affect our stay.
