Perfect location! Only 2 min walk from metro and train station (Passeig de la Gracia), which is opposite to Casa Batlo. In the other direction, 2 mins walk to Casa Mila. About 10 minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya, where you can catch the Aerobus. We walked from there to Las Ramblas, beach and La Sagrada Família. I had two young children with me so definitely doable on foot. The staff were super helpful. The room and bathroom was very clean and spacious. It has a safe and a mini fridge. We were offered bottled water on arrival. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

The spring mattress. It’d be absolutely fine for most people, but due to back issues, I prefer memory form.

Everything! The staff were very friendly, the room was super clean and very comfortable. The place itself is very central and close to major attractions.

The only thing we missed was having breakfast at the place, but then given the hostal's location, finding nearby bars where we could eat was super easy.

The location of these rooms is simply perfect. Situated on what is perhaps the most prestigious road in Spain you couldn't ask for more. Clean and comfortable with a lovely courtyard balcony. But itvwas the staff that made it extra special. Jose in particular was so accommodating. Allowed us to drop bags early and hold again for us after checkout and ready to help us at he drop of a hat. Thank you so much for your kindness.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only suggestion would be a kettle in the room as a fridge is provided but no means to make a coffee. Though to be fair there is a multitude of cafes and bars right on your doorstep so never really an issue. A truly great place to stay.

Superb location on a main shopping street. Very helpful staff, meeting us at midnight for late check-in and storing our bags on our last day due to a late flight. Very simple no nonsense accommodation but with all the facilities that we needed as somewhere to sleep and get cleaned up. But there's everything from Gucci/Rolex/Prada or a 24hr supermarket round the corner and lots of places to eat and drink nearby.

You need to ask for items like a kettle, iron for your stay as they aren't left in the room. Some small maintenance improvements needed (ie. loose tap) but nothing major and as we didn't spend lots of time in the room. It's on a main road so there's a bit of noise at the front

I liked that we had a balcony and our own room with a bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable.

The reception desk area felt dirty. Also, it’s advertised that there is 24 hour reception, and this is slightly misleading. We needed cleaning supplies late at night, and there was no one at the reception desk, but a phone number to call. The phone number was still helpful, as the owner answered the phone quickly and was very accommodating! However I think it shouldn’t be advertised as 24 hour reception since that implies that there is someone there in person 24 hours, instead of on-call 24 hours. If this was clarified on the website, that would be great!

Location is great with easy access to all kinds of transports. The staff I met speaks little English but with the help with Google translate there's no issue at all. Although it's next to the main road, i can't really hear any noise from the street - probably because my room is facing inwards. For the economy single room the room is not spacious but enough for one person.

the hotel is located on 1st floor and there's no obvious sign to find the entrance - need to remember the street number.

The man at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. He guarded my bag for multiple hours so I could explore Barcelona a bit more! The windows were large and allowed for a lot of beautiful natural light. It was decently close to everywhere I wanted to go!

The shower drain kept on coming off whilst I was in the shower and the hair dryer stopped working mid way through. It was also a little hard to find at first but luckily the staff were very kind and guided me through the process.

Location is prime and we had a lovely terrace to spend some time outside. AC worked well and check out was easy.

The bed was quite squeaky and a bit uncomfortable. The shower was missing half the door, there were stray hairs from past guests, and the drain on the shower kept coming loose

Giving 10 out of 10 because of the location and the price. It is a central location, in interesting building. It is perfect for short stay/city break. Staff were polite. We were there to explore the city, not to stay in the room. What we needed was comfy bed, ensuite bathroom, hot water, and central location, and we got it. The hotel does the job perfectly for short breaks.

Not good toiletries, and not very clean.

The location is amazing a block away from one of the most central metro stations right in the centre of Barcelona. We felt safe at all times. The price for what you get is superb value. The whole place was very clean and the room was comfortable. We had a double room with en-suite and had all we needed. The hostelin isn’t staffed at all times but there is somebody on reception regularly. I will be staying here if I m back in Barcelona
