Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Property is kept very clean. Free safe. Kettle provided for €20 returnable deposit. Our room was on the interior of the hotel with a lovely courtyard garden to overlook making it a very quiet stay with birdsong every morning when we opened the windows. In very upmarket part of town with plenty of options for transport but we walked everywhere.

A small fridge would've been handy but that's just being picky. Couldn't fault the stay.

The location of the accommodation in the heart of Barcelona is perfect. Main sights Casa Batlló and Casa Mila are just around corner. There’s only a short walking distance to Sagrada Familia, Plaza Catalunya and other central places as well. There are a lot of restaurant options on La Rambla de Catalunya next by as well as grocerie store downstairs. Cleaning of room came with the price every morning and the staff and management of the hostal was very friendly.

There’s not really much bad to say. Room did lack safe deposit box to what was told and view to inner yard was not what expected, but mostly no complaints.

Great location to most touristic attractions, walking distance to La Sagrada Familia and the gaudi houses. It was in a very nice area and safe even when walking back late at night. The staff were very pleasant & helpful.

The facilities were very small…the shower was even smaller however everything was clean. The walls are very thin so you have to keep quiet after 9pm which was no problem for me but maybe choose an apartment if you are traveling with friends so you can be noisier.

I had a pleasant stay at this centrally located property in Madrid. The location was ideal for exploring the city, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, which made my stay enjoyable. However, it was a good experience. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

It was exactly as described in other people's feedback, I had no surprises at all. Its best points are: great location ( easy to reach from the airport and close to Rambla, Plaza Catalunya, the Gaudi houses etc.), very clean, very nice and polite staff ( some speak English, some French and of course Spanish). Because I like to sleep late, I appreciated the fact that the cleaning is done only when you put the sign on the door and nobody wakes you up at 9 am, like it happened to me in other hotels. There is a supermarket next to the hotel, open until 12 at night, so buying stuff is so easy. The Foccaceria opposite the hotel sells great coffee and offers delicious and not so expensive breakfast and lunch choices.

As said, I had already known about these facts, so I can say I had already agreed to them when paying for the hotel: the single room hardly had natural light and you can hear through the door whenever someone walks down the hall ( but I solved that with some ear plugs, since I am a light sleeper). Even so, the location is totally worth staying in, and I would recommend it for all the things mentioned in the "liked" section.

The room and bathroom were basic. But clean. Staff were very helpful. Lift so great! Terrific location!. A half block from The Rambla. We lucked out during a convention week to find such a great option at the last minute. I would book again for the location alone.

Location is great. We walked a lot, many things in the walking distance. Friendly staff.

Room pictures were a bit better that reality. Some days elevator didn't work. Two single bed's is not same as double bed 🛏️:) Rest is fine. We spend time mostly outside.

Monica - the front desk assistant, made this place excellent for us. She gave us some many tips and ideas and our stay was perfect.

The shower was exceptionally small and we are small people. You could hear everything from the other rooms.

The staff was very kind and accommodating, and always present for safety. The room was cleaned, and bedlinnen/towels changed often. The location is perfect in the middle of city life.

The room was on the smaller side, which the pictures did not display very well.

The location is amazing. Breakfast place just around the corner..Faborit. Great value for money. Dinner places 50 m away....anything you wish for. The rooms are small but very clean and nice. I missed the real window...but it was ok.
