Location is wonderful! Very walkable, just a couple blocks from the metro or bus stops. Nice restaurants and shops just nearby. Overall the room was comfortable and the bed was heavenly. Also, despite being in a busy area we couldn’t hear any street noise. The staff were very attentive, always greeting us. And we appreciated the free welcome drink!

A few small things, but overall they didn’t detract from our stay too much: While the room was clean, we couldn’t help but wonder the last time it had been deep cleaned. The curtains and out of reach surfaces seemed a little dusty. The walls were thin - while we surprisingly didn’t hear any street noise we could hear someone cough next door or quiet footsteps above us. The shower/tub combo was a high step up and little dangerous, we almost tripped a couple of times. The room felt a little dark, between the decor and the one window. But I think that’s the ambiance they’re going for. The Smart TV wasn’t connected to the internet, not a big deal at all but I wasted a good 30 minutes trying to download the app to stream something 😂

The hotel is really beautiful - set off the busy, hot pavement from a stone’s throw from all the expensive shops and you step into a serene, comfortable and welcoming lobby area with beautiful, squishy sofas. All staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the sights to see. The breakfast was a vast range of absolutely delicious food - staff in the breakfast bar were excellent - welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious, calming with the lovely concrete style decor. The pool and terrace were great too. Everything about our stay was absolutely superb. If we come to Barcelona again, I would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Alexandra Barcelona Hotel. The staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant were lovely and very friendly. We received a free upgrade on arrival and our room was beautiful. We also really liked the location of this hotel.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The location was perfect! Really centric. The room was really clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the 'solomillo' restaurant on the ground floor, the food was amazing. Also, the stuff was really friendly. They made us feel at home :)

I only stayed for the weekend to meet my friends who I haven’t seen for like years. It’s a beautiful property and will definitely go back. Maybe soon when I bring my husband for a short visit.

The service was really good. The place was nice and the room was clean and comfortable but I didnt like the view and even though I had told the hotel that I was coming back in a week and to give me a higher floor/better view, they didnt action this. So I was disappointed by that but since I was out a lot, it didnt matter as much. its located centrally but a bit of a walk from Las Ramblas etc

Comfortable rooms, good breakfast with plenty of choice. The location was only a short walk to Las Ramblas and a main shopping area, though in a quieter side street. We needed Covid test certificates for our Cruise and there was a Pharmacy which did this straight across the road from Hotel, so took away a lot of the stress in arranging this.

Although lots of nearby Restaurants and cafe's, the hotel's own Restaurant was closed for a month, due to , we were told Staff Holiday's, so only a basic food service was available, out with breakfast, It would have been nice to have eaten there, but as I said, good location so this was easily overcome.

Small boutique hotel near excellent shopping and dining. Would stay there again .

Not a great choice of menu for evening meal. However my adult son did say he had the best steak in our whole stay in Spain. Couldn't find anything on TV for relaxing at bedtime. Other hotels we visited it was easy to change language back to English on the American shows
