What I liked about the Hotel Barcelona Center is its combination of central location, modern comfort, and excellent amenities. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Barcelona, making it easy to explore the city’s attractions, shops, and restaurants. The rooms are elegantly designed with modern furnishings, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of the standout features is the rooftop terrace, offering stunning panoramic views of the city—a perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The hotel also has a wellness center and spa, which is great for relaxation and rejuvenation. Additionally, the service at the hotel is top-notch, with friendly and professional staff that enhances the overall experience. The breakfast buffet is diverse and plentiful, providing a great start to the day with both local and international options. Overall, it’s a well-rounded property that balances luxury and convenience, making it a great choice for anyone visiting Barcelona.

The location is great. The room is clean.

I have faced a problem with my room AC. The AC is not working. I have called them and they sent to me the technician and he in term confirmed the AC needs work. They told me wait we will change your room. I have waited for two hours more and they gave me a room with AC is terrible. And as a sorry they offered me a free dinner. After I have called booking they replied and offered me a breakfast for all my stay. Overall, before your stay confirm the AC is working with good condition specially in the summer seasons.

The hotel was in a nice neighborhood. The staff were kind and responsive giving tips on safety and cabs ( thanks Robert). The bar staff were kind in giving us ice for our drinks. Our room was large for a big city (Superior Double) and very quiet. We loved having ice water in the lobby as it was very hot while we were in Barcelona. I liked the lobby -- reminiscent of a former age. We fell in love with the architecture of Barcelona.

The was one of the few hotels that had a gym. Very convenient for people like us who work out. I felt like the neighborhood was quiet at night and not too loud which we appreciated since we go to bed early. We walked everywhere in the city and didn’t take the metro once.

The bed was a little hard but it was something we had before so we didn’t mind it too much, just a warning for people who like prefer soft mattresses.

Beautiful, close to all amenities ond spots to see, close to transportation. Great bar on rooftop and amazing restaurant next to lobby.

Spas close at 8. It has sinage and was well established just would have loved a late night soak.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Room cleaning service was in time and excellent. The hotel has got a great location which has easy access to most places in Barcelona on foot. Breakfast was great. Staff were helpful and friendly.

There are some mosquitoes in the hotel room. Maybe try to use the plug in mosquito repellent?

The hotel is located in a great neighborhood. All the main attractions are within 2 to 3 kilometers, and it’s easy to reach the place by public transportation.

One evening during dinner, I asked for a sharper knife because my wife, who had an injured hand, was unable to cut her overbaked pizza. Instead of simply providing a knife, the staff took the pizza to the kitchen to cut it themselves. We had to wait around 10 minutes, and when it was finally brought back, it was cold, soaked in olive oil, and cut into narrow strips about 2 cm wide. The whole experience felt dismissive, as if guests shouldn’t ask for anything. Needless to say, we chose not to dine there again.

Our room was comfortable and spacious enough for us. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel's location was very good for exploring Barcelona on foot or by metro (the nearest metro station was less than a 10 minute walk away).

We were disappointed in the one meal we had in the hotel's bar/restaurant. The starter of "scrambled egg, Iberican ham and potatoes" turned out to be fried egg, bacon and chips - more like a breakfast dish than a starter. The main course also included chips (the menu said potatoes), a large slab of rather dry and chewy meat and no vegetables (just three tiny chilli peppers). The breakfasts are excellent so we expected the meals in the ground floor restaurant to be of the same quality

This hotel was perfect. There’s nothing we didn’t like. The location was good and within 20-30 minutes to shopping and restaurants. The staff was wonderful. I’d especially like to thank Mohamed and the lady that ran the breakfast buffet. They were both exceptional.

Room and bed were comfortable. It was quiet, clean and the staff was very nice and helpful.

The bath tub was a little awkward to shower in because there was no door, just a wall and water kept splashing out.
