My second stay at this property. It’s a great location with so much variety within walking distance- cafes, restaurants of all kinds, shopping, city buildings, galleries, museums and attractions. The Metro is a few minutes walk away which can bring you to the hotel in about 45mins with just one change. The rooms are fitted out to a high standard, with comfortable bed, a/c, fridge. Daily room service. Room 205 and others have windows opening to a shaft. Book a room with balcony if you prefer a view and more daylight. A breakfast box is available to order and there is a rooftop terrace area with tables and chairs, where an espresso machine dispenses high quality coffees free to residents (6am-6pm). 24hr receptionist, who is always happy to help and offer local guidance.

Room 205 is small for two people as there is no chair or tabletop and very little clothes storage.

Absolutely fantastic location !!! Great service from reception and an absolutely wonderful boxed breakfast in the morning. The hotel is 80m from Cerveceria Catalana a must eat a taps restaurant!! Its food is amazing and very affordable 😎

The hotel is in a perfect location, super central and within easy reach of all the main tourist attractions. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. The roof terrace is a lovely bonus, along with the coffee machine. Staff are friendly (particularly the person at the reception desk when I checked out). The rooms are clean with lots of natural light. I find accommodation in Barcelona to be on the expensive side, so this was good value for money.

I found the mattress to be a bit soft but that is personal choice and may well be preferred by most people! On the first floor, you can hear slight traffic noise but probably not a problem on the higher floors and the super central location makes it worth it.

The rooms were very quiet. The beds were large and comfortable. The location was perfect for sightseeing and access to the metro. Lots of eating places locally, including a very good breakfast bar next door but one. The staff were really good.

Would have liked another pillow or a fuller one. The bathroom towel rail needed replacing, and, for the price of the room, a tumbler other than a paper cup would have been nice. The hair products were not nice to use. There is nowhere to unpack your clothes other than a rail with a few hangers on. There seem a lot of negatives here, but the positives outweighed these.

The staff went out of their way to make recommendations. David and Andrea were quite lovely. The cleaning staff also deserve to be commended for keeping the room tidy and changing linens as necessary. The location on the Rambla while noisy was really exceptional since it was so near so many of the Gaudi buildings. while there was no coffee service in the room., there was free coffee available on the sixth floor. It was actually quite good.

The room was extremely small, and the balcony was viewing only. It was not possible to sit on the balcony. It didn’t really hamper my visit since I was out so much of the time. And while it was noisy, with the shutters closed, and the windows closed a lot of the noise was blocked.

Room clean and comfortable, balcony area was good although not private - shared with two other rooms / small railing between each to separate. Staff were friendly, location was great, building was very pretty / nicely styled throughout.

Bathroom was missing a door - thankfully we are a couple and could live with that but a bit more awkward if staying with friends. Room next door was very noisy, they had brought a speaker with them and were playing music until gone 1am. We'd been travelling since 2am, so we were very tired. We reported to reception to ask for a room move which they couldn't facilitate. They called the neighbours and asked them to turn it down. Neighbours did eventually turn the music off but wasn't a great first night.

When we arrived very early, David at the front desk gladly welcomed us and securely stored our luggage. He also provided valuable information about the local area, the hotel and suggestions for breakfast at the "oldest" bakery in Barcelona (2 blocks away). David also made helpful suggestions on how best to explore the city on foot, including viewing the nearby Gaudi buildings. Once checked in, we found the room very comfortable and made use of the rooftop patio for free coffee in the morning and a clear view of La Rambla.

Liked everything; no problems.

The location is great, very close to the restaurants and all shopping area and also to metro + bus stops. The room was very clean and comfortable, a bit small but manageable. The staff was good and always willing to help us.

There was no towel hanger so we couldnt find where we could put our used towels to dry. During the night, you can hear some noise from outside since our room was looking to street, the windows should be more soundproof. But other than that, nothing else. I recommend to book the hotel due to convenience, cleanliness and location!

Superb location. Nice room and bathroom sizes. Nice lobby, smooth check-in.

Shower could be better. Poor use of available space given the placement of faucets, shelves, etc. Had to fix the plastic drip edge myself to be able to fully close the shower door, and water still flooded outside onto the floor. It's a bit noisy from the street, but we were on the 2nd floor. But we slept ok. Elevator and stairs are a bit terrifying if you're at all scared of heights. Low railings and nothing will stop you falling to your death. Yikes. Would not bring kids here.

Excellent location: close to all the tourist attractions either 10-30 min walk or use the metro link. There are lots of great cafes and shops around too. The check in was easy. We arrived earlier, left the bags and went to walk about before returning for the check-in (earlier check in is available for a fee). The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had room 206 which was spacious enough for the two of us, with balcony to the back of the property (not much of a view, but we had plenty during our walkabouts). It was very quiet at night and bed was super comfy. Shower was powerful too. We went up the rooftop terrace on last day and had coffee and lovely sit down. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Where it lost a point was that the balcony door wouldn’t close properly and during our last night (windy night) it opened few times waking us up and making air con to turn off. We moved the sofa next to the door to prevent it opening. Also, the bathroom door (sliding one) wouldn't fully shut! So make sure you are fully comfortable with whoever you’re traveling as it does not provide full privacy.
