The accommodation competition is pretty high in Barcelona center but we decided on booking a room in SM Hotel Teatre and oh boy we did not regret! We loved the front of the Hotel (clean, neat and welcoming, so during our check in we could see it from far away) which stands out from the rest of the amenities. The staff - friendly and smiling - every day! The good point is that the competition does not mostly have fridges but here there is one available in each room. Great! The rooms include shower gels and towels. Wow! Bathroooms are so clean! The rooms are quiet even though the street gets busy in the morning. We are not sure about the view though. We did not ask for any fancy one but if you do not want to get disappointed feel free to ask for the street view. We enjoyed it to the max! The availability of public transport is simply outstanding! There is a metro station and a few bus stops nearby so we never needed any Uber. We decided on no breakfast since there are so many cute brunch places in the vicinity (we’re not early birds ;-)).

I had a wonderful experience at SM Hotel Teatre Auditori, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable. My room was just right, cozy, spotless, and well-equipped. The location couldn’t have been better! Sagrada Família was just a short walk away and the area felt both central and easy to navigate. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of tasty options to start the day. Another big highlight for me was the hotel’s proximity to Razzmatazz, one of the main reasons I chose this place. One of the reasons I came to Barcelona was to see my favorite band, Foster The People, perform live and staying at this hotel made the whole experience even more special. Although I couldn’t stay longer due to an upcoming job interview, this trip was a fantastic way to celebrate my recent graduation from medical school. The hotel definitely played a big part in making it so memorable. I truly hope to return to Barcelona one day and when I do, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again. And fingers crossed, Foster The People will be back on a European tour, too!

The beds are quite comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They provided all the assistance we needed for early check-in. They also kept our luggage as we arrived very early in the city. In a quiet and nice neighbourhood. Arc de Triomf is within walking distance. There are taverns, restaurants and markets very close by. Sagrada Familia and La Ramblas are about 20 minutes' walk away. Every receptionist is extremely friendly. It is a facility that I would like to stay when I come to Barcelona again.

Upon checking into the hotel, Ariadna at the front desk, was amazing! She was super nice and explained everything about the hotel, and also got us in our room earlier than expected. Every encounter with Carlotta, also a front desk rep, was outstanding! She helped us with directions to several attractions as well as a map. The breakfast was delicious! Both Vanessa and Carmen worked very hard to make sure everything was fully stocked with sliced fruits, sweet treats, eggs, and ham, and everything needed for us to enjoy a start to our day. Gracias!

We had a great terrace space with sunlight and great views to the city and Agbar Tower. The terrace also had two sun loungers. Didn't expect we would have a terrace space. It was a pleasant surprise.

The terrace floor was a little bit dusty and dirty, probably partly due the the recent rain. Also staying on the highest floor, there was a pigeon nest just past the tiny wall and those pigeons made scratchy sounds often that were annoying. This is a weird issue, I've reported it to the staff and they assured me they would take care of the situation. Everything else was very good.

Extremely positive, helpful, friendly and professional staff! They did everything to make it a trip to remember - particularly big thanks to Ari, Raül, Omar at reception and Carmen and Vanessa looking after us at breakfast. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of a lovely lady who kept our room immaculately clean, everything was perfect, from lovely fragranced bedding to hot and powerful shower. Easy access to the city centre, 15 min stroll to Sagrada Familia or 25 mins walk to La Rambla. Thank you all!

I had an amazing stay, and Omar, the receptionist, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He truly is an asset to the hotel. The value for money was excellent, and the breakfast offered a great selection. There is on-street residential parking available for overnight stays, but I highly recommend using the public parking directly opposite the hotel—it’s approximately the same price as street parking during the day. I will definitely stay here again! The metro and bus stops are conveniently close by. Thank you once again, Omar, for making my stay so enjoyable!

I eas very happy with my choice of the hotel. It's located close enough to main attractions like Sagrada Familia, gothic quarter, 30 min walk to Barcelonetta. Yet it's located in quite area. I had a very good rest and sleep. The beds were very comfortable too. I liked that we had a kettle in the room, it was nice to have a cup of camomile tee after busy day. The bathroom was very clean, shower very good and powerfull, plenty of towels and complimentary shower gels. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked breakfast very much. There was a good variety of different tasty bread, pastries, hot counter, also plenty of cold snacks like cheese, salami, jamon tuna and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Also there were yogurts and cereal and a coffee machine with good coffee. So all in all I was very happy with my stay, nothing to fault really.
