Location.

Bath towels, face towels, ALL TOWELS were VERY OLD AND THIN, could see through some parts, And borders falling apart. For a hotel of your rate and caliber those towels are not acceptable. You need to throw them Out and PLEASE replace all of them. Towels are an important item in a customers stay, specially after a long day of work or walking the entire city, you shower, relax, and you need to set your body with something smooth NOT HARSH to your skin.

The staff on arrival were so helpful and pleasant! Super impressed with the welcome I received and the option to drop my bags as I arrived before official check in times. The room was a fair size for a city hotel and perfectly clean with toiletries included (hand wash and shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste sachet, disposable razor, shaving gel sachet, cotton pads and q-tips!). The spread for breakfast was great and again my experience with staff was fantastic. The location of the hotel one street away from the bus station was fantastic and a perfect location to take bus tours and be right by the hotel when finished.

The only thing about the hotel that was a small negative for me was the amount of noise that travels through from other rooms and the hallway. This is hard to avoid with city hotels I understand so doesn’t impact my opinion on the hotel too much but just to be aware when booking that there will potentially be some noise - I woke up at 4:20am when a family where in the hallway being a bit loud and I felt I could hear others clearer than maybe they would have liked from my room and I assume they could also hear me on phone calls in the day too.

Reception staff very helpful. Room was twin as expected. It had an outlook at the front as I had requested in my message to the Hotel. The room was cleaned and made up perfectly each day we stayed. I used the pool and my son used the gym. We had breakfast on the last day and it was very good, it was run very well, everything was available. All staff great.

Shower head in bathroom needs fixing as water spurted out upwards and in every direction. Needs another long seat for luggage to lifted up or to be accessed, in the space against the wall.

The hotel is in an amazing location for exploring Barcelona. It is seemingly a 15 minute walk from everything. There are many good restaurants nearby. The cleaning staff were especially friendly and gave good attention to detail when tidying the room. There was a fridge in the room to store bottled water and complementary water was topped up daily. The shower was amazing with great pressure and temperature. The reception was available 24 hours a day which was handy when checking out for an early flight. The hotel keycard opens the hotel door from outside which affords additional security. There was a safe in the room to store passports etc. The air conditioning worked perfectly to keep the room cool. Some body wash/shampoo was provided and also soap, shaving kit and dental kit. The communal areas of the hotel were very clean and well-maintained.

The mattress was different to what we are used to but absolutely fine for a week’s stay. Some more storage for clothes would be helpful, particularly if staying for longer.

The staff were wounderful and room lovely and clean. I do want to say that I was told when I booked and right up untill booking into the facilities that we would recieve a EITHER a double OR two singles - This was made very clear So why I whitnessed others kicking off with Staff because they recived a double bed is beyound me, disgraceful behaviour. Full credit to staff who stayed calm and helpful on both occasions.

My only critism would be that the pillows were just too flat, however I do prefer fluffy pillows so this may just be my preference.

For me having just arrived from Andorra by bus, the location was invaluable! It is a 10 minute walk from the terminal to the front door of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, nicely attired, spacious, clean and fairly quiet at night. The other side of the location was that it was about a 20 minute walk from the Arc de Triomf and huge park near the Gothic Quarter and the Cathedral and massive MUHBA museum which has the original city beneath it from Roman times! There are some budget friendly restaurants very close by as well.

Excellent location with access to metro stations (the closest, arc de Triomf, around 5 mins away) and very close to bus station, restaurants, coin laundry, etc. Very attentive staff. Nice breakfast, with many options and tasty food. The room was comfortable, bed great, and provided everything needed for a great stay. I would recommend it.

Would recommend to provide conditioner, as only shampoo/shower gel was provided, and the image of the TV at one of the rooms booked didn't work properly.

What can I say apart from amazed by the Hotel's organisation and attention to detail for a 3 star you won't be disappointed. Location, service and breakfast simply great!

Stay in Double room, small matter was the room being odd shape and bathroom a little tight to move around we managed ok but anyone of a larger stature would struggle. Breakfast was amazing as mentioned however not much range in the vegetarian/vegan/halal options sadly, inspite of this there were lots of other choices from cereals, pastries, fresh fruits, yoghurt, juices and beverages. Anything else that troubled us was put right immediately by reception staff with a smile. Thank you...

The room was good in all aspects that matter to me - clean, modern-looking, with comfortable bed and bathroom. The desk was large and comfortable enough to work with laptop, and the desk chair was also comfortable. The location is good, and it looked safe to me; it is in walking distance to the old town, park Ciutadela, Sagrada Familia; nearby bus station and subway, with restaurants, shops, and everything you may need in the walking distance. The hotel parking for 16 EUR / day seems a fair deal for Barcelona, and although it felt tight to park at first without external help (perhaps, it is just me not living in a big city, and thus being used to way more spacious private and public parkings everywhere), it is not that difficult to park into, but requires reasonable driving skills and car control.

Breakfast was uninspiring - a small selection of the same basic stuff everyday, not looking particularly great nor very tasty. It is not worth 17 EUR a day they price it at the booking time. The other thing is that I did not include it at the booking time, and at the check-in time, when I asked for parking, they offered me a deal, if I take parking, to include the breakfast for 8 EUR / day, if I book it for all 4 days of my stay. For 8 EUR / day that breakfast was ok, passable. Though, I'd still advice just to have breakfast or brunch somewhere in the city instead. WiFi Internet quality in my room was poor. After struggling for a bit, I preferred to use my mobile Internet connection instead, which was way better and stable.

Great location and very comfortable bed and the room was super clean.

The rooms were not well soundproofed. Even though I was staying in a room at the end of the corridor, a lot of noise was coming through the door. On the first night, when the neighboring room opened their door, I thought it was my own door opening and woke up from my sleep. In the mornings, I was particularly disturbed by the sound of doors in the corridor and people’s voices.
