I like the location which was close to the sea and shopping mall diagonal mar where we were having breakfast every morning.

I didn’t like that we had to pay for the parking daily but I guess it’s normal for Barcelona. I didn’t like that hotel didn’t provide toilet brush which is weird, because Catalonia suffering from the drought and the whole country trying to save the water but toilet flashing takes more attempts when there is no possibility of cleaning with the brush. I didn’t like that the room with separated beds it’s actually one bed but with separated mattresses - so I had to sleep on one bed with my father.

The atmosphere was great. Comfortable bed, clean and spacious room, plenty toilet accessories. Breakfast was with enough variety and fresh. The staff was cordial and willing to help with any inquiry. Location was perfect. Great place!

Just a suggestion to provide better lighting in the closet area, and to add a light curtain in the rooms (specially towards the street) to have the possibility to slide the opaque curtain and get daily light into the room. Last suggestion is to implement a gym in the hotel.

The rooms are super comfortable, spacious and clean

This is a 4 star hotel, the parking is €18 a night extra, someone was robbed in the lobby whilst I was there and I paid €3 to borrow a spoon. No thats not a deposit it was like renting a spoon for a yogurt for an hour…

During my stay, I was particularly impressed by the excellent service provided by the hotel staff. The staff in the breakfast area, reception, and housekeeping were all very friendly and responsive. A Galician lady in the breakfast restaurant was consistently attentive, while the Argentine gentlemen at the reception desk efficiently resolved any issues I encountered. The housekeeping staff were also excellent. Overall, the warm and helpful attitude of the staff made my stay truly enjoyable. Also the rooms are very nice.

Initially, I thought the hotel’s location might not be ideal, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It allowed me to discover a lesser-known area of Barcelona, exploring new places and experiencing parts of the city beyond the typical tourist spots like Passeo de Gracia. This unexpected opportunity to venture off the beaten path was truly enriching.

No swimming pool and no gym.

I was greeted by an exceptionally friendly and helpful reception team. My room was on the 4th floor and I could not have wanted for or asked for more! The room had everything I could have needed, robes, slippers, Clarins personal care products, mini bar, tea, coffee, safe. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious as was the bathroom. Every member of staff that I met during my stay were so friendly and helpful, exceptional customer service. I can’t figure out where the bad reviews came from, as it really is a 4 star plus experience. I stayed here for a conference, beach side and only a 10 minute walk from the venue. Central Barcelona is around a 30 minute Taxi ride. The only thing that I felt could be improved upon in the hotel was the quality of the food served in the restaurant, it certainly wasn’t bad, but not really in keeping with the quality of everything else this Hotel has to offer. It’s a 5 minute walk away from a large shopping centre too, handy for us ladies!

The room was superb, clean, tidy, and well furnished. There were facilities for hot drinks of tea and coffee, there is also a fridge in the room with a stock of drinks and snacks also complimentary water and snacks. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had, the choice of foods was enormous. The dining area was clean and airy and the staff were very efficient and friendly. The location is in a living area opposite some waste land but very good for transport to all parts of Barcelona. Options are bus, tram and metro all within a few minutes walk. There is a good variety of shops and restaurants close by and a shopping mall within a short distance. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with information. The sea and beaches are only a few tram stops from the hotel. I would certainly stay at this hotel again should I visit Barcelona again.

Rooms were spacious, super clean, bed was king size with comfortable mattress and double pillows. Shower was amazing, clean and also spacious. I assume the hotel opened recently as everything smelt like new. We've had breakfast for 3 days and it amazed us every day, you can find all that you can thing about there, especially I enjoyed the cake pops I assume they are called and the peach yogurt mmmm! Restaurant on the first flor was working until 23 and it was wonderful, all the items on the menu were available and tasty, we've also got peanuts as appetizer for free so that's 1 more point! The staff was super friendly, we've asked for an extra planked and a pair of slippers and got those super fast. Our room was being cleaned every day so we were amazed by the service and cleanliness! Just an amazing hotel and easy to recommend!

The only issue was that we were visiting in January so it was a bit cold in the room but we've got an extra blanked so it's a win a suppose!

Excellent location for CCIB - only a short walk away and there's the bonus of a shopping centre very close. Room comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. In fact the breakfast room itself is great. Due to time pressures at a conference I wasn't able to see Barcelona and didn't have time to use any other facilities, however I noticed that there are lots of taxis, buses and trams in this area so local transport looks really good. Staff very friendly and very helpful - superb - better in my opinion to many holiday hotels I've visited in Spain..

There's not much of a view in this area. Its fairly residential with some unkempt open spaces. Area around the CCIB is also fairly industrial / marine engineering looking - obviously nothing to do with the Hotel but its not picturesque closer to the sea.

Personnel was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was always rich and delicious. Accommodation was very comfortable but did not look very modern. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the stay in the room. The only uncomfortable thing was the shower which was fixed and pretty close to the wall so, it was a bit difficult to have a shower but other than that, I was very satisfied, especially with the location of the hotel close to the sea.

Just the shower but other than that, all was find and comfortable.
