Fantastic venue for families - the water park kept my 2 boys (14 and 11) amused for hours. They have multiple lifeguards on duty, and it feels safe. The water is unheated, so I'm glad we took their shortie wetsuits (we visited in April). We also paddled in the sea - the beach is a very short walk away. They were interested in the shooting but too young (16+) and never got round to going to the kids' club because they spent all their time in the pool. Check the daily screen and plan bookable activities in advance. Aircon, decent bathrooms, interconnecting door between our 2 rooms, free pool towels (cash deposit payable). Fridge in room. We loved the balcony and the drying rack was very useful. The hotel food is OK and plentiful. Not much choice for lunch at the poolside cafe if you don't eat chips or bread. Benalmadena is a pretty little place with a decent choice of restaurants. Everyone we met inside the hotel and beyond was friendly and helpful.

The grey synthetic bed covers were clean and smart but not cosy. They slipped off every night. But the sheets were white cotton and super clean. The hotel is a bit noisy, with very few soft surfaces to absorb the sound, especially during the evening entertainment.

Great facilities staff very friendly and good choice of food that’s why we returned.

To be honest I’ve only knocked down as we had a nightmare with the people in the room next to us. Shouting and screaming not nice experience and also really scary for me let alone my son. The room we had this time was smaller, last time had 2 big beds so better for us. The bathroom configuration was weird sink to big for the room or in the wrong position… The hotel was to busy to move rooms so couldn’t be helped just people put a bit of a downer on it but you can’t help that.. would of been nice if something was done for my sons birthday too but I understand it’s a busy hotel and not that level..

Everything was clean, breakfast was great, staff was friendly and water park itself was amazing, although the water was absolutely freezing cold in May :(

Hotel room was extremely noisy. On the other side we had a family who carried on fighting until 2-3am. Could hear every word, as our rooms were joined by a door (there was even one centimeter under the door where we could see their into their room). On another side was a family with a small baby who woke up around 4-5. Did not sleep much…

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Los Patos. The pool was incredible, both kids and adults enjoyed immensely, the staff was friendly, helpful and available. The buffet had a large variety of food and the changing menus from day to day were a hit.

The buffet had vegetarian options, but they were often not clearly marked which made it difficult for the children to navigate the buffet independently. Vegetarian options in the snack bar would also have been appreciated (besides french fries).

great place for families, and 100 percent worth the money we paid for it. entertainment was great every night, food was brilliant and staff were friendly and accommodating. very clean

We loved the waterpark area, the food was amazing as well as the cocktails 🍸, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was lovely near the beach. We loved it had a childrens park with swings and slide.

The only thing i did not like was the rooms where slightly outdated and very little sunbeds, but overall great stay.

Fantastic choice of food and drinks! The pools were always clean and staff very friendly and helpful! The room had a great balcony and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Could have easily stayed longer!

I loved how friendly everyone was. I loved the food. We loved the slides and pools. The entertainment staff were amazing!

The outside areas were a bit grubby, especially up by the slides.

5mins to the beach. 20mins to the airport. Uber is available and cheaper than the UK. The resort is very much children focussed which was ideal for us as we had two young children. Kids' entertainment kept the kids occupied.

The pool & water park could have been a little warmer. Kids couldn't stay longer than 30mins each time. The food variety could have been a bit better, but we were OK as we were there for 4 nights.
