Good location. The rooms were clean, large.

However on day 2 two of the family members got the food poisoning. (See the Tripadvisor reviews, a lot were reported since May 2024). It took 2 days to recover and enjoy the holiday. Obviously the kitchen technique has to be revised and reorganized, as the number of reported cases are more then pure accidnetal. As a medical doctor, I can call it a local epidemic.

Location, very clean.

The hotel is overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It offers full and side view to its guests. The food is excellent, there were themed evening, presenting cuisine from different countries. The staff is polite, especially the animation team, who were very attentive to the children in particular. I could say that in general it’s a family orientated hotel. The rooms are specious and are made up and cleaned up daily.

The furniture looks a bit obsolete and outdated. The swimming pool cannot cover the guests’ demand, the umbrellas and sun bends are insufficient for such a big hotel, therefore many of the guests prefer lying by the beach to lounging by the pool.

We stayed for 12 nights for an all inclusive break in September. Arriving on a Sunday afternoon we initially thought we had made a mistake, the pool area was really busy and noisy, with music blaring from speakers. Having travelled since 5am we just wanted to chill. The next day however we found the grass area which was a much quieter spot. There were always plenty of sunbeds available, any time of the day. Towels are available for a 10 euro pp deposit. The bar staff work so hard and are to be commended for the speed of service. The restaurant offered a great variety of food. We did overhear people complaining about the quality and variety, but we totally disagreed. There is a cooking station and every evening there is a themed menu. We didn't have one poor meal. We stayed in room 1123, side view of the sea. The view was specular with beautiful sunrises. Extremely quiet at night, we were never disturbed. Views from the pool area and restaurant are also great. It's a 40 minute walk to the marina which is lovely for a mooch around. We also caught the bus to Malaga right outside the hotel, 1.70 euros each. We booked a trip to Gibraltar and again, the bus picked us up on the opposite side of the road from the hotel. On our last night we had a fabulous dinner at La Cala, next door. Again, stunning views!

Tea/coffee facilities in the room would be appreciated. We did manage to obtain a kettle from reception, 5 euros deposit.

Good location, friendly staff. Ok value for money.

Even though we were charged for breakfast for our last day and we couldn't have breakfast due to our very early flight, we were declined to change that breakfast for a dinner the evening before. The VIP pool area could do with a good clean. The mattresses had massive dirt marks even though we have paid extra to use them, so would have expected to have them cleaner. The rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade to match the 4 stars.

Very friendly staff, with a fantastic location right next to the beach with great views. The facilities are wonderful, there's 2 pools, a spa, gym & a large breakfast selection. the rooms were clean & tidy, and we were lucky enough to get a room facing the sea which was amazing, especially for watching the sunset. Staff were very nice and always happy to help. The rooms were cleaned daily and on our last day, they even brought up a fruit plate and a bottle of prosecco as a farewell gift which was a very nice touch! Great hotel, amazing staff and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Banalmadena

We stayed in room 812 10/4/24 to 24/4/24 we had lovely views of the sea and mountains and lovely sunshine in the evening which I requested. Our room was lovely and clean the staff cleaned every day and changed our towels and any toiletries required. Thank You.

The only complaint would be the same monotonous music on the pool side over and over again get lively Best Hotel and get some better music to suit everyone I even suggested to the Amination team the music from Live Aid Concert in 1985 feed the world at Wembley UK and Philadelphia America some great groups to get everyone on the pool side happy good idea YES.

Very good hotel, we had a nice room in the 11th floor with beautiful sea view. Good breakfast for every bodies taste with a continuous stock up of food. Room was very good sized and comfortable.

You have to find the right time for breakfast, otherwise no table is free. Unfortunately our room in the top floor had a backdraft on the canalisation pipe by certain winds. The smell was unbearable in the bathroom. But with change of wind, there was no bad smell. The personnel gave us a parfumé spray to get rid of the smell, but that didn't really solved the problem, the smell stayed.
