Nice room/bathroom, very good shower, comfy beds nice size sun terrace. In a great location by tapas corner old town and castell balcon/sea front yet tucked away quiet - mind it was March so not about later months but was quite busy. Staff very helpful. We arrived 3 hours early and they changed our rooms so we could check in😊

There was only 1 coffee and no milk on arrival we assumed it wld be topped up the following day - it wasnt. We went to reception they went to their own fridge and got us some - the day after we asked the cleaners - but they didnt have milk they did phone their boss and said they wld get it later but we didn't get it and never did frim the cleaners. We were a group of 4 it didnt really bother us but, it bothered our friends. Apart from that can't complain.

1st visit was 2019 and things are even better now than before. The location is perfect right in the old town near to Tapas Alley to bars for everyone this includes bars for all tastes genders and sexualities in this immediate area.The area caters for everyone so be respectful of this.Many restaurants also..Just a minutes walk and you are at the seafront and one of the three beaches.A couple of minutes walk you are at the shopping street or the balcon overlooking the sea with it’s beautiful architecture and also the harbour. The room is great fantastic air con to cool down and the most comfortable beds ever ! TV all languages kettle fridge and a great shower.Plenty of storage room. To add to this there is a coffee bar in reception area with pastries etc. And finally the FANTASTIC staff.The lady at reception and the coffee bar is so welcoming so friendly and makes you feel at home.The other young man at reception also really friendly.Thank you to this lovely lady and all of the staff. We will 100% stay here again and I highly recommend it to all. See you next time.Gracias !

The suite with a terrace is the best room if you spend anytime indoors and quieter but all rooms are great.

The location is perfect. The staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Room was clean and had aircon which could be adjusted to heat or cool the room. Room made up daily with fresh towels. The bathroom was roomy and had a great shower. There was also a small balcony from which we could see the sea. The room we booked was small but ample for our 3 day short stay (wouldn’t book this room if staying longer). I should also mention there was a small fridge in the room big enough to keep drinks cold and also a safe (at no extra cost). Our room was not ready when we arrived (we arrived at midday 8 but hour luggage was stored safely by the hotel. Checkout is midday (our flight was 8pm) but we were given the use of a large bathroom with a shower to use before our departure. All in all a great hotel for a short break.

For a short break there was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Second visit - last time stayed in the opposite side of the hotel and had the bigger rooms, however for a short stay still good value rooms are compact but have everything you need. Very central literally 1 minute walk to tapas alley, everything on the doorstep. Clean, safe, reception always available.

Bathroom and shower are very small in the compact rooms as just a glass room in the main room, think I’d rather pay a little more to have the bigger rooms next time. Good for a long weekend stay.

Fantastic location, very close to the Old Town. You are close to Poniente and Levante beach, and Benidorm castle viewing points. Hotel staff were welcoming, chatty and friendly. The hotel itself is small but very clean and well maintained. Air conditioning in our room was excellent, which was a blessing as temps were very high in August. The room itself is basic but spacious, with good bathroom facilities (though I recommend upgrading to a superior double to get the king sized bed with a firm but comfortable mattress). Housekeeping was regular and non-invasive.

The solarium rooftop is average with basic facilities. We had to shower there on our last day as we had checked out but had a late flight. There is little privacy in the solarium area so avoid doing this if you can.

Everything during the stay was perfect as always

I miss the bakery. Also it’s a shame that the hotel wasn’t manned during the stay. The staff were based in the hotel next door and whilst I appreciate there’s been a take over and both hotels (Rocamar and Mirador) are now owned by the same group, Rocamar seemed a little barren with reception are being completely empty. I’ve stayed in both hotels and Rocamar is in my opinion the better hotel, so it’s a shame the lovely staff who previously worked there are no longer present. I stayed at Rocamar last month and reception was occasionally manned so maybe it was just a blip during this stay.

Well this was an improvement. I do not know what the other comments that it’s gone gone hill. It felt if anything an upgrade. Almost 4 star I would almost say. Room now open planned not for everyone taste but it was fine for me. Actual double bed with a duvet not a sheet. I stayed in a 4 star hotel recently nearby location and that was more like a 3 star. The tv was smart. Not that I spent much time in the room but could watch my fav YouTube videos. They even had room service. Room was fresh and modern. I would highly recommend this place

Thin walls and confusing turning the lights off. I ended up just pulling the card out. There was too many light switches never did work out which one was the correct one

Stayed here a no. Of times previously and love everything it has to offer. I must admit that I was concerned re some of the previous reviews since Clopy took over. These concerns were totally unfounded. Staff were great and really attentive and helped us upgrade 4 economy rooms to Standard rooms with ease. Rooms were changed daily and were extremely clean and comfortable, complete with kettles, as per our previous stays. We're back there in June, this time with no negative reservations before travelling.

This hotel was fabulous the room was so lovely and had all I needed plus a lovely terrace to relax with a vino. The staff were all amazing and made me very welcome from the moment I arrived and made sure I got breakfast the first day. I have booked this hotel again for September and can’t wait. The rooms were also cleaned every day and clean towels. The shower was also fabulous roof terrace was brilliant nice and quiet with great facilities and again clean fresh towels for sunbathing. I want to thank all the staff for making my week fabulous I think one was Anna and another lovely lady however I recommend this hotel to everyone right in old town surrounded by lovely shops bars and cafes 😜

I loved everything

It was a lovely hotel. Great location. Up a slight hill but we just took our time. We were on the ground floor, would of liked to have been abit higher with a balcony but I just chose double room so maybe it's the luck of the draw. There was shutters on window but hubby wouldn't lift while getting ready incase people walking passed could see in. So room was dark needed lights on even in the morning but it was still a great room. We only dressed and slept so big enough for us 2.

Nothing really. Other than missed a balcony.
