The Colon is a lovely little hotel overlooking the start of Poniente beach with the beautiful sands less than 10m from hotel entrance. Our room was sea view which is a must to enjoy everything that’s going all around the location of hotel. The staff are friendly and very welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms themselves are nothing fancy but they are very clean and looked after.

Absolutely nothing. The location of hotel Colon would be hard to beat but beware when booking, a sea view room is essential to fully enjoy this hotel, it’s so nice and relaxing to sit out on your own balcony and get all the vibes from the street below which has lots of busy restaurants with outdoor seating, also enjoy all the wonderful views of the sea and beach area.

The location is just perfect, right in the middle of the old town, close to the beaches and some amazing bars and restaurants, and the very good Tapas Alley. The room was specious and very clean and the breakfast was just perfect. All the staff where very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The hotel bar food was good and so where the drinks, and the staff were just lovely after 2 days they knew what we wanted to drink, before we even sat down. Plus an extra bonus off 10% off the bill for staying there was very welcome

There wasn't anything I didn't like

We stayed in Hotel Colon for 5 nights. It’s in an incredible location right on the beach front, we had beachfront facing rooms with exceptional views. Staff were very accommodating. One of our party used the breakfast facilities and said they were great, we ate in the attached restaurant and like everything else the food and service was top class. We will be looking to book our 2025 trip as soon as the bookings open, thanks to everyone for a fantastic Benidorm trip.

Volume on TV in rooms could by a tad higher. We had a problem with the flush on our toilet but this was seen to and rectified immediately.

This is a perfect traditional Spanish hotel in Old Town Right on the beach All the rooms at the front have amazing views the rooms are spacious Modern bathroom Fridge and aircon Nice balcony Free WiFi Staff are helpful and polite, there is a restaurant underneath the hotel where as a resident of the hotel you get 10 % off food and drink Pet friendly Beautiful traditional, not a sky scraper, simply lovely, will definitely return if I come back to benidorm

Possibly the noise... It didn't overly bother us, but as of the location which is busy, you may find it noisy

Stayed for 4 nights. Fabulous location with a view to die for. Hotel staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast was a continental one with a couple of hot item ie, eggs & bacon, well stocked and fresh. Just what you needed to start your day. Bars and Restaurants all nearby. Taxi Rank over the road. Old Town right on the doorstep. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing other than it does not have a pool but we didn’t require one.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. From the moment we checked in, we couldn’t have asked for more. Booked a sea view room with balcony, such a treat to savour the beautiful sun sets. Comfortable bed, and it was great to have the air conditioner. In room fridge was also very welcome. We stayed in room 501 which was very quiet. The breakfast each morning was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for better. Will definitely return to this lovely hotel with amazing staff.

Nothing, everything perfect.

Location was very central to old town shops supermarkets and restaurants ,the view was amazing very relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by .Breakfast was adequate but not a great choice .The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Jamie and Manuel room was spotless and cleaned everyday .

There was a stall outside hotel selling fruit and sweets they arrived at ten o’clock and played loud music until eleven o’clock at night which was very annoying if you wanted to have an afternoon siesta .

The location was perfect for us, being on the edge of the Old Town. On arrival we received a lovely welcome and the staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious enough, it was fresh and cleaned daily. The continental breakfast was very good, including all of the usual items, plus boiled eggs & bacon. The small sitting room which we used prior to vacating was very comfortable.

The view from our room at the back of the hotel wasn't nice.

Excellent location, right by the doves. Very quiet inside the hotel, couldn't hear any of the other guests, and the hotel was fully booked. We had a room at the back as we were late to book, still had a balcony for sitting out. Great big shower and quick hot water. Breakfast was good, continental with a few hot items, great coffee machine and fresh orange juice. The staff were all lovely, very helpful, we will be back.
