Nice old building in a very central location in the City centre, tastefully refurbished,with excellent sized rooms and communal areas full of ambience. Comfortable and quiet bedroom with full amenities.

Not really suitable for guests with mobility problems. Although there is a lift there are small sets of stairs to negotiate between the lift and the communal areas including the bar and lounge. There is discounted parking is available in a nearby multi-storey car park, but this is a five minute walk away which is not level. The streets of Carceres are very narrow and cobbled in the old town centre with many one way.

The room was spacious with air conditioning, safe and mini bar/fridge. Comfortable bed. We booked a superior room , however we were disappointed that we had a view of an air conditioning unit. Breakfast was good.

The front desk person on check in was not suited to the role. Not great customer service and not very helpful. Not easy to get to the hotel with a car for luggage drop off. Satnav took you to a pedestrianised area.Took us an hour driving around after having walked to the hotel to see about access. We booked this hotel sfter an excellent stay in NH hitel in Burgos last year, however service not a patch on that hotel. Garage is remote from hotel and a bit of a walk.

The location of this hotel is terrific - in the old town and looking onto a lovely little leafy square. The interior features some striking architecture and the room was spacious if relatively simple - as befits the price paid.

There is no food available in the afternoons past a certain hour which is a pity as the terrace overlooking the square would have been a lovely place to sit and enjoy a cold beer and some tapas after arriving after a long drive.

Hotel is in an amazing former palace, with a stone-columned patio and brick domed ceilings throughout. Bed had tons of pillows, very comfy; fluffy towels and well-designed shower. Although I did not choose a room with a view of the plaza in front of the hotel, the room I was assigned (213) did have a view of a garden patio with flowerpots and stuccoed walls. Also, that choice of room was a great deal for what I paid. Bountiful buffet breakfast complete with cava. Fantastic stay.

Hotel is very nice and in a great location, but not for a motorcycle

Parking. We have stayed there a few times before and always been allowed to park our motorcycle discretely outside the hotel. Not this time. We were instructed to park out motorcycle in a garage about a mile away which despite several attempts i could not find. Had to park in the street in a square about a half mile away. I'm afraid with the parking nonsense we will not go back. Shame, staff did not seem at all bothered when I complained about the parking.

An excellent hotel with good facilities in a great location for the centre. This did mean that there was no parking however. You are allowed 15 mins to drop off bags then have to drive to a car park and walk back. This didn’t cater for higher vehicles so we then had to find another car park on the edge of town and walk the 15 minutes back to the hotel. Bit of a pain but the price you pay to enjoy easy access to such a historical centre and Caceres is worth it!

The location is superb - right in the heart of beautiful Caceres. Our rooms were good - slightly lacking in character but made up for by the excellent air conditioning! All of the members of staff we spoke to were very helpful and gave great restaurant recommendations and detailed directions of where to park the car. It was our second stay there and we would definitely return.

You do need to be aware that it’s a bit of a stress navigating the narrow streets and one way system to find the hotel and then the car park but worth the hassle.

Almost everything you need for a hotel stay. Staff, location, bar and restaurant.

The distance to the car park. Maybe a facility where you could get valet parking or at least transport to and from the hotel. If you are in full health it wouldn't be a problem. The add says parking but doesn't tell you until you book that it's not directly at the hotel.

Location and old stylish palacio. Excellent breakfast and restaurant.

First room we got was on the 3rd floor under the roof with a very little roof window. After complaining, we received on the 1st floor a room with a window giving to the main interior hallway. They called it an upgrade compared to the first room, but one should really ask for a front room in order to be on the safe side.

Excellent location for exploring the old town. Very comfortable rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good value for the standard of facilities and service. Good breakfast buffet included.

Very slightly "corporate" feel to the hotel. We were offered a "free upgrade" at check-in, which was actually the standard of room we had already booked! I didn't like the e-check-in email that was sent several days before arrival - It felt like a me doing the hotels' job for them, rather that speeding-up the process.
