This hotel is a hidden gem! Not really hidden, as it is probably the highest hotel in Cala Millor (12 floors), but really a nice place for vacation with kids, kind staff, very clean, great location. Sea view rooms are outstanding, especially those on higher floors. Food is really good - so many choices, for all tastes, especially their show cooking station with so nice lady cook, preparinf delicious egg omletts and panckakes for breakfast, and mamy different dishes for dinner! Rooms are specious,with delicious coffee machines, fridge, two hair dryers, safe…all what youneed. Entertainment for kids, evening events, indoor pool with sauna, ourdoor pool with almost enough sunbeds for all guests, beutiful beach right infront od the hotel. Great room service, and all facilities are very clean (despite hotel itself being a bit old, but is very well maintained and cleaned!). Location-great!! Big market just across the street, restaurants, bars within 2 min walk!

The only thing we noticed is the bad smell in the room in the afternoon. Dont know why, but it was constant every day after 11am. Elevators are also quite a trouble, especially if you have room on the higher floor and cannot take the stairs (very hot inside, stops in almost ever floor so its quite a journey during the breakfast/dinner time…). Otherwise all good.

The location was great for the beach and restaurants etc, everything you need on holiday. Beds were comfy, air con worked really well, shower was powerful, staff were nice

We were told we could book a transfer to the airport but when we went to reception they said no, there is a 3 day notice they need....i can't find it to say that anywhere, so we were let down and a bit put out. Hey, if you don't want our money that's too bad. Also, the non smoking rooms should be all on the same floor...we were next to two faggys and so we couldn't sit on the balcony as it was rank and stank so bad, not great

Fantastic location. Great view from our Seaview room. We requested a room on a lower floor which was no trouble for them. Hired a kettle for our early morning cuppa. Staff always friendly. Pool was good and we could always get a sunlounge. After coming from another resort which had our dinner included we were pleasantly surprised with the dinner here. Lots of choices and constantly topped up. Nicely presented. There is a direct bus back to the airport just up the road which was convenient.

They could do with a few more food and drink staff around the pool area. Those on duty were always run off their feet and sometimes hard to get their attention. The dinner could do with more selection at the grill area would be my only suggestion for improvement here.

Location: 10/10, right across beach. Dozens of shops around for everything. Very family friendly environment within and in surrounding areas. Live music on the beach, all the way from 10pm to 3am (maybe more but i went back. 5min walk from hotel).. Enjoyed it more than Iberostar Palma. Amazing family friendly nightlife option. Staff: 10/10, super friendly, very attentive to whatever you needed. Reception (Sergi and the rest), pool/lifeguard, breakfast/dinner (chef alejandra) spa (christina) all super helpful and great at their roles. Facilties 8/10. Everything was clean but some things a bit older. It's a town-like area so hotel facilities are not comparable to a city-like 4 star hotel. But still plenty to do. Performances every night, breakfast and dinner buffet were amazing value with lots of variety every day. Pool area was big enough and almost always you can find sunbeds and cabanas. Hands down the top choice for Cala Millor.

Nothing I didn't like. Some maintenance and facility upgrades would be even better.

The staff was unbelievable! From the front desk to the bar/waitstaff to the cleaning staff. Everyone was extremely accommodating and always had a smile. Couldn't ask for a better staff to take care of us for our stay. Housekeeping paid close attention to details. I noted that everyday, excess sand was cleaned from the track of our sliding glass door, a detail that could easily have been overlooked. The front desk was so accomodating and made sure every request was taken care of for us. We were a large group with a lot of requests lol, and they delivered each and every time without fail. The bar downstairs by the pool had a very well thought out cocktail menu. Much better than the standard sweet beachy cocktails found elsewhere in Cala Millor. Who ever designed this menu payed very close attention to the ingredients. I.e. Most Pina Coladas are way too sweet for me, and I would never consider ordering one, but my mother in law is a fan and I tried a sip, it was actually very very good. (And presentation was amazing) I am a gin drinker and they had probably close to a dozen different spanish gin tonic combinations with both local and imported gins, all properly paired with fresh fruit and herbs. I was very impressed as you usually don't find that at a poolside bar at a family resort. (I only found one other place in all of cala millor who's gin menu came even close) They had some other great cocktails that were not overly sweet like I had expected. All in all, great bar and again the staff at the bar were an absolute pleasure. To me, the staff at this hotel, from the top down, is what makes Cm Castell de Mar a great place to stay in Cala Millor. The location, adjacent to the sea, makes traveling with kids so easy. We hopped back and forth from the pool to the sea with ease.

Only recommendation would be to add some fans near the elevators as the AC didn't hit these areas. But it's Mallorca in August, so it's gunna be hot!

Amazing hotel. Fantastic staff and facilities. Food absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended hotel.

Childrens facilities were lacking out of season. Table tennis table was old and worn. Pool table didn't work. Small area also worn and old, some spiders which put my son off. Kids room lacking in activities.

I didn’t know what to expect when I booked because I didn’t know this hotel chain, so when I arrived I realized it was an average hotel with old style furnishings and bed not so comfy. But on the next day I was surprised with the cleanliness of my room, with the amazing breakfast with plenty of good selections, also dinner which was included was good, and the staff at the reception and restaurant are the best!! The beach is beautiful but crowded. Couldn’t find shades and chairs so I had to buy umbrella and a chair which was good because I could choose where to sit. The surroundings are simple, nothing outstanding, as I was going to spend 10 days it turned boring so I moved to another beach and could cancel the rest of my staying at no cost.

The swimming pool area could be better.

The activities in spanish (we know you have lots of german visitors but we missed some activities in spanish for the kids) At the pool people leave the towels to keep the hammocks and umbrellas busy while they go out of the hotel, we would have apreciate if it was some kind of control with that.

Great location, polite and friendly staff, good organisation, very clean, very good and varied food.

People assumed everyone spoke German by default. But it was a minor thing. Maybe it's time to learn German :-).

It was very clean; the food was great. The hotel is right on the beach. There is entertainment for both kids and parents every day. The swimming pool was wonderful. The spa was also great.
