The location was excellent. It was a beautiful quiet location above Garachico in a banana plantation. It was very easy to get to town for a large selection of restaurants. The breakfast was very nice, with plenty of choices and a view of the ocean. The room was cosy, clean and pleasant. The staff were excellent.

The dining room was very noisy. This is not easy to solve, while maitinaing the historical architecture. Closing the door to the kitchen would help, as would perhaps hanging more items on the walls and the ceilings. The view is awesome, but the sun makes it too bright and hot in the morning. Shades could help this, as could curtains, which would help witgh the noise. The trick is to keep the view, at the same time. The coffee machines could also be upgraded to nespresso or similar.

We loved the peace and quiet of this location. It is a very beautiful property and our room was very comfortable. Very convenient to nearby towns both by car and by local bus service. The service was excellent and the whole experience was completely relaxed. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was very good. The property around the hotel is lovely to explore. Communication was regular and prompt before and during our stay.

Nothing that we didn’t like but guests should be aware that this is not a full service hotel with 24 hour reception. The staff are very helpful working around this.

This hotel is a special place on earth!— it’s location in the midst of banana plantations with ocean view on one side and mountains on the other makes it the perfect spot to relax & unwind. At the same time it’s a great starting point to explore Tenerife’s North with charming towns such as Garachicos and Icod de los Vinos close by (5min drive). The house and its gardens are beautiful and well maintained; the rooms are cozy with a comfortable mattress and basic furniture—but you will find all you need also in the common areas which offer a tea/coffee maker. The staff was very friendly, happy to accommodate all needs and provide recommendations for trips on the island! The breakfast buffet was small but all fresh and tasty. I will have to come back & would highly recommend a stay here :)

Everything was great!—people who are travelling with children or generally prefer more space might have to watch out and select the right room. Mine was a bit small (which I loved as it felt cozy).

For me it is one of the best places to stay in Teneriffa. It is a quiet and comfortable hotel, in the middle of banana plantations. The rooms are big enough and have everything you need (no television - how nice !). The people in service and reception are always friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is very good and the little restaurant is a fine place to stay for a second cup of coffee. You have a little pool and lots of possibilities to sit, read a book or just relax - and if you like to swim in the sea, a little bay is only 400 m away. For hikes in the black mountains (i.e. Chinyero) the are many routes (30min with car from hotel) - for hikes in the region of El Teide is is a little bit far (1h 15min by car) but possible.

If you stay in the old part of the buildings you have to wait sometimes a long time for the hot water.

The perfect place to relax in Tenerife. So much more than a hotel. The location, set amongst a working banana plantation, is stunning and there are so many different views and relaxation areas to enjoy, from the cactus garden and sunset balcony to main courtyard shaded by palm trees and an ancient dragon tree. When the sun was shining it's one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. We did a few daytrips but also spent a couple of days in pure peace and relaxation on the plantation site - walking around the plantation pathways, playing tennis and by the pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made many recommendations for things to see and do. We would recommend a trip to the pretty nextdoor town of Garachico (by foot or bus) or drives to La Oratova and Masca. The room/bed was very comfortable with a lovely terrace overlooking the plantation. We enjoyed the peace of living without a TV and other superfluous technology. The breakfast buffet was superb, with a great view over the plantation to the sea. There was also a shared fridge for us to store our own food and drink during our stay. We didn't take advantage of the evening Cantina dinner, but it looked like a lovely option too.

We really enjoyed the stay - the Finca just invites you to dive into your holidays and into the Teneriffa landscape and way of living. We spent the mornings on the terrasse with the breakfast - enjoying the stunning views onto the sea and the banana plants. We also spent occasional evenings on the patio - with a good wine and amazing views onto the stars. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was always clean and the breakfast was rich and very diverse with everything we needed (except for great coffee, as their coffee is rather weak and tasteless - personal opinion).

The beds were rather hard and our room had views onto the stairs - but as bonus we had an own terrasse, so beautiful balance. The restaurant on-site is ok, but nothing special - the wine is really good though.

Full of character, peaceful, spacious.Attractive seating area in palm tree-filled courtyard. Sunny breakfast room with views down to the sea, or you could eat in the sunshine on a grassy terrace. The staff were very hardworking and helpful.

When we first arrived, the electronic gates were locked and the buzzer on the wall produced no response. Why can’t instructions be left to phone for help to get in? Evening meals were only available 5 nights of the week and quality was variable, whereas the buffet breakfasts were very good. You definitely need a car here.

Breakfast was great. Location excellent. Nice walks within the estate (a banana plantation). Comfortable room.

The restaurant for dinner was poor (in contrast to the breakfast which was in a different room and with different staff). The first night the restaurant was closed which was annoying. The second night we had not reserved but were able to eat inside as it was rainy. The meal was adequate but no more than that, with a choice of 2 main courses. The third night we had reserved but were told we had to eat outside despite it being cool and very windy. And the menu was identical to the previous evening. Disappointing given how nice everything else was.

The hotel’s location is incredible, set in the middle of a banana plantation. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless, with daily cleaning. Breakfast featured a great selection of local foods and freshly squeezed juices. The entire estate is full of relaxing spots, and since the hacienda dates back to the 1500s, there’s beautiful old furniture and artifacts throughout. Highly recommended!

The hotel was overbooked and we were asked to change room during our stay. However, the staff also offered us two different alternatives and we were able to avoid any change of room during our stay. The area is wonderful and strolling amongst the banana plantation is a sweet memory. We found some great restaurants in the village, walking distance away. The beach area is not too far and breakfast is good. There is a communal fridge to store any food/drinks and the restaurant is pleasant.

The breakfast is a bit of first-come, first served. Towards the end of the breakfast time, you will find most hot dishes gone and much of the choice limited. The hotel might do better with having guests fill out a breakfast card each day in order to better cater for any waste.
