Charming, yet luxurious hotel. Perfectly situated and with fantastic staff and hospitality. Our room (on the top floor) had beautiful decor and with a real boutique feeling.: Charming, authentic and just really nice to spend time in. The balcony was outstanding - we could enjoy the view for hours on end. Bathroom worked well and was big enough. Bed was fantastic, duvets, pillows, covers, mattress: Perfect! Breakfast was extremely nice. Limited selection, but a bit of everything and really high quality on all food items. The bread looked plain, but was delicious and the cheese was perfect. Great options for the sweet tooth also and the coffee was very good. The staff was outstanding. The owner was very pleasant and helpful and gave great tips for what to do. The town is perfect. Small and inviting, yet with several good options for eating. The restaurant right next to the hotel (not to get confused with the cafe in the lobby of the hotel) serves great Spanish food and the restaurant "Restaurante La Almena de San Miguel" across the street to the left served the best seafood I can recall having eaten - and the best prawns in garlic! I can still almost taste them. For a fancy night out, visit the Silogia restaurant near the main square (but make sure to reserve a table). If we come back to Tenerife, we are staying here again!

I cannot think of a single thing. Maybe an elevator would be nice, but I cannot see how that could be accommodated in such a beautiful old house, but worth keeping in mind if you cannot do stairs.

We enjoyed our stay and the apartment was better than expected both in location and facilities. Our host was really good and dealt with any queries promptly. We were very pleased with our apartment which was within a beautiful old building conversion. Breakfast was excellent and the buffet serverery had something for all tastes. The staff were very friendly too. Yes, we really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend.

The outside door locking took some getting used to.

The room was super spacious, with an attached living room and small kitchen. I had the balcony suite, and the views were amazing! Very nicely decorated and clean. Laura, the host, was excellent! She was extremely helpful whenever we needed anything. The place is very quaint and true to their cultural roots, which makes you feel very close to the island. Location was also excellent, right in front of Garachico's famous pools, and with plenty of walking distance access to shops and restaurants.

There's no AC and therefore the room was a bit hot, specially during the night. I had to sleep with the windows open, which was fine except for the amount of noise coming from the street. Breakfast is ok, if you want something quick. The restaurant transforms into a bakery after the hotel breakfast, and it's a shame not to be able to have that food for the breakfast instead, as everything looked amazing.

Isla Baja Suites is a beautiful period house with big and stylish suites set around two central courtyards. We took 2 suites for 1 week - and twin and a double. Our room was really romantic and airy with a gorgeous sea view from the balcony. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the towels etc high quality. Breakfast was tasty and the owner was incredibly nice, she helped us to book a boat trip and advised us on where to eat and how to make the most of garrachico.

We liked everything about our stay at this hotel. Laura (owner and hands-on manager) was there every step of the way ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. Our luggage was lost on the flight in and she worked with Iberia airlines to expedite our luggage getting to the hotel and provided us basic supplies while we waited for the luggage. In addition, she went the extra mile to recommend some terrific hiking trails nearby and some great restaurants. Everything was perfect!!!

The attention from the owner is 10/10, she is always there to help with anything you might need and give you tips and recommendations if needed. The room was beautiful, and very spacious.

I hope in the future they add AC in th rooms as having the window open and the fan, is not the most comfortable. I understand that Garachico has lower temperatures than the south but still would be very nice. The breakfast is provided by the pastisserie downstairs and is very basic, plus the coffee is not good.

We loved our spacious , stylish , beautifully decorated room nr 1 from the colonial era, it's really unique. It overlooked the quiet back street and there was no noise at night.Great location in the centre of charming Garachico.

The bathroom and kitchen definately need an upgrade although the walk in shower is very good. I think the hotel needs better maintenance, one lamp was not working, also no lights in the evening in our part of the hall.Breakfast is very average .

The hotel manager is extremely friendly and assisted us with hiking routes. The location, a small city is truly amazing, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The house has a rich historical charm and a fascinating appearance. The room is exceptionally spacious, making it truly enjoyable to stay there.

The soundproofing isn't flawless; every noise permeates through. However, it doesn't significantly disturb us. Considering the historical and aged nature of the house, some level of expected noise is quite normal.

Lovely apartment in central location with a great view and balcony. It was very peaceful in the evenings, despite being so central. Garachico is probably the most charming town we visited on the island. Nice host.

We discovered that Garachico has wet and windy weather in February, so the beach was closed all week. It is quite a distance from places with more reliable sunshine, so it depends how important that is.

The house and the appartements are incredibly beautiful and perfectly preserved. It gives you a feel of what it must have been like to live there 100 years ago just with the big difference of up to date standards. You have several great restaurants and the city beach super close and the spacious appartements give you the option to also cook yourself and actually enjoy these beautiful rooms.

From looking at the photos we thought the house is right at the ocean with nothing in the way. but actually the main road runs right between which was a bit disappointing at first. The building is old and it’s great that the general look and feel is being preserved but that also makes it very noisy. If someone is entering the room above you it sounds like someone just came into your room. So nothing for noise sensitive people.
