The peaceful environment! Please note that this hotel located a bit countryside, so if you expected busy, hectic night life then this is not for you. But if you want a peaceful environment, quiet and tranquility this is definitely a good choice. Very secluded and quiet.

The only negative point from us is that drinkable water. We were only given 1 bottle of water (for 2 people) once for the rest of our 8 night stay. The small water bottle is available at limited hours in the lounge located in the lobby. After 6pm they lock the fridge and you need to purchase water via the room service only. I find this is ridiculous and annoying as other 5 star hotels are all provide a complimentary water as part of room necessities everyday. Water, teas and orange juice are complimentary for breakfast buffet only. But dinner buffet you need to pay for water which i find it negative. Yes charge for sweet drinks is fine but water? Most hotels didn’t charge for water.

Excellent room, with plenty of space and places to sit and relax. Very large terrace. Very nice coffee from the machine.

Restock the water every day would have been nice. Service charges for the delivery of wine to my table? The food was adequate, plenty of it, but hardly 5 star. We had to make it clear that we had a cocktail package included, which took a while to be understood. It's not 5 star. It's very nice, but it's missing that certain polish you get in a 5 star.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful furniture and ornaments cleverly placed around the hotel. The grounds were lovely and well kept. The staff were fabulous and very friendly . The rooms were very good and the beds were comfortable, they were kept clean by house keeping. An amazing location , very tranquil and beautiful views . So quiet it was perfect , slept really well.

The breakfast buffet wasn’t very good . Nothing seemed very fresh and there was always a big queue at the omelette station . The only thing I liked was was the fresh coffee . Also , 11am is too late to open the pool area and provide the cushions for the sun-beds. I also thought the pool area needed to be cleaned more as everything was a bit sticky ! Finally , balcony light had been disconnected and there was a bug spot light outside our balcony which was blinding , also a palm tree which blocked our view and sun which was a shame.

A lovely adult-only hotel on the west side of tenerife which was beautifully clean and great for chilling out. My partner loved the golf course and it was easy for him to book rounds. We had a car drove to Garachico most evenings for dinner which was nice to mix it up The buffet breakfast was brilliant, with a pancake station, fresh fruit and eggs We also loved the tea and coffee station with fresh cakes near reception

Sometimes the service at lunch can be a little slow but not a problem on holiday. My main gripe is that our water wasn't replaced every day which meant we had to buy bottles from the supermarket. At this price point I would expect water in the room daily

We had a pleasant stay at the Melia Hotel Hacienda del Conde in Buenavista, Tenerife. The breakfast was very good, though the dinner options were average. Our Cycling Junior Suite was spacious, but it felt quite dark, we recommend choosing a different room, as you can still access the bike storage area. Overall, the hotel has its charms.

One drawback was the lack of a coffee machine; ordering coffee meant waiting for a waiter, and despite there being many, service was consistently slow. The spa area was relaxing, though the absence of a water pipe in the Turkish sauna made it feel less hygienic.

The building was beautiful. The reception, pools, outdoor seating etc was lovely with fantastic views over the golf course and sea. Great selection of teas, coffee, water, soft drinks and biscuits and cakes all day available in lounge. The bedroom was spacious with great beds, linen, towels etc. all the usual extras and more (hand held steamer for dresses and shirts). Great sitting area and pleasant small outside patio. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

It took a bit of working out where everything was. Only found a pool bar by accident on our last day. Buffet dinner not quite up to 5 star. More like an AI standard. The food itself was perfectly acceptable but I did think this let the hotel down slightly. Having stayed in other Melia I’d say this needs to be looked at. Small selection of chef cooked offerings not too exciting however. Can’t fault the breakfast which was excellent. Service here was also great.

Came to Tenerife for a week to celebrate my 40th birthday. We wanted to relax and so booked this place. It's a really lovely place. Very big but also quiet. There is a small spa (€ 25 for 90 min) and two big pools. When we were there in December, the water was a bit cold but still ok to swim. We also had dinner in the two restaurants and tried the buffet several times. Buffet is a bit of a hit or miss. Especially if you are vegetarian. You really need to have a car to get here. Staff were all very friendly.

Because there are tile floors it can get noisy. First night we experienced a lot of noise from the people above or next to us. Luckily it was quiet the rest of the week.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was simply exceptional — from the attention to detail to the quality of service, nothing was left to chance. The rooms were impressively spacious, extremely comfortable, and equipped with high-quality amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable. The pools were absolutely stunning — just the perfect atmosphere: not crowded, but far from feeling empty. Exactly the peaceful, relaxing vibe I was hoping for. Overall, a top-tier experience that exceeded my expectations in every way. I woul definitely return.

The service was outstanding. I was there during Christmas and the hotel was still staffed properly. The food was amazing with abundant choices. Even I was everyday at the buffet for almost a week, I never get bored by the diversity of the dishes. The location of the hotel can be good or bad, depending on your perspective. On one hand, it's really quiet but on the other hand, quite inconvenient to go around without a rental car. The drive from the Southern Airport to the hotel can be a bit challenging (curvy mountain roads, frequent up/downhills). You could take a detour with better road conditions but it will take 30min longer. I would definitely go again if I'm ever in Tenerife.

You can tell that some facilities in the room was a bit outdated (in bathroom mainly), but they are clean and in good conditions.

The pool by the ocean was a dream come true—perfect for relaxing with a stunning backdrop of the sea. It was always clean, well-maintained, and never too crowded, giving us plenty of space to unwind. Breakfast: Breakfast was another highlight. There was a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to choose from every morning. Whether we wanted something light or a full meal, the buffet had it all. Room Service & Reception: Room service was impeccable—quick, efficient, and the food was always presented beautifully. The staff at reception were incredibly helpful and friendly, making check-in and any requests seamless. They even surprised us with a honeymoon gift, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch.
