Prior to booking, I read almost all reviews here at Booking.com and elsewhere (Tripadvisor). I wanted to get a good value for my money. I did get it. What most reviews say, is true: the place seems to be well managed (cleaning every day, etc.), things work there, it is a family oriented place (lots of children), breathtaking views, yes, lots of stairs, but there are elevators there too, so do not worry. Good variety of food. Yes, it is large, many people everywhere, but that is to be expected in a big resort such as this one (you can always come to the dining room early or late to avoid crowds). Pools are heated just fine, there are times when they are pretty much empty. Yes, the parking lot (8 euro/day extra) has some narrow spaces, but we always found a spot even if we came late in the evening. Having read reviews in advance, I knew about it, so I booked a smaller car (VW Polo) and it was just fine. I think the guys read reviews and try to improve things. For instance, some older reviews said that the wifi is not good or that one has to log in (type in data) every time when a browser is opened. I did not experience that and the connection was good (watched some Netflix movies on my mobile phone). Overeall, I would come back again.

Hard to think of something - the parking lot could have wider spaces for parking.

Very good quality and variety of food (half board), in particular tasty oats option at breakfast and excellent pastry at dinner. Availability is granted until end of servings, therefore no rush to get in early. Gym is first class and free of charge but with no supervision though. Spa and wellness is special and spacious with sea water (!) pools, saunas etc. and important, an oasis of calm and retreat (it's a children's heaven Hotel, remember). For 2 hours stay EUR 19 is charged but may be included if you book/pay certain massages/treatments. Quality of staff is overall very good: friendly, calm at all times (not an easy task, specially during meal servings). Big, spacy room with nice view to island of La Gomera.

Booked and requested again at check-in a "Non-smoking" room. However, on balcony there was an astray available! First 2 days all was fine then some smoker(s) moved in on lower floor and therefore had to closed windows or retreat from balcony. Since I was mostly out during the day, problem touched me only on early morning or evening. A great pity, because air and climate in Santiago was superb. Otherwise, great big room, with 2 balconies, 2 TV sets, bathroom (tube) and spacious wardrobe, frigde and free drinking water available at water fountain on each floor. In-roon safe charged extra. Kids and adults used football pitch until very late in the dark and each time ball hit separation fences at back on on both sides, it made a nasty, metalic noise.

Return visit and was a great choice again. Staff all great Rooms well maintained Pool actually heated this year and what a difference Great activity choice

Shane there is no shallow end in the main pools for the smaller ones Evening shows are pretty average and start far too late (9:30) for the majority of the audience

Pool was heated, calm and quite place and neighbourhood, really good room cleaning, they made this trip the best.

Expected more, food really avarage, even skip most of breakfest. All inclusive snacks also wasnt the best. evening entertainment really poor, more like sad what we saw. Didnt spend much time in hotel. For parking need to pay. Basically we choose this hotel becouce of inside pool as we were afraid that will be cold outside, but arriving there we understand that inside pool is for extra payment, and there also was limited time- if have kids, and that's also destroy all, family time is until 14:30 so its mean no possibility to spend there time with kids in evening.sad.

Our room was huge - spacious bedroom, bathroom and separate lounge (which is really handy when baby was napping as we could watch tv) we also had two balconies, one on either end of the apartment (we had a garden level room) all staff were really helpful and friendly. The pool area is really nice and spacious, one of the baby pools was very warm which was nice for them. Gorgeous views from sunbathing area and never struggled to get a lounger. Sunset bar views also gorgeous and far nicer than other hotels we’ve stayed in the area. Kids disco was really cute and hotel had events on when we were there like a white party, valentines disco etc. Food was nice and wines were very nice also. Close to a supermarket and not too far from the airport which is an added bonus. We also loved the golf buggy to our room which was helpful with lots of bags and added a touch of luxury. We also really liked the oat milk/dairy free options such as oat milk porridge etc

One baby pool was cold when we were there. The food was good but not as nice as other hotels we’ve been to. For example there was pasta on offer but other hotels of same level had better selection/made a pasta dish there and then for you etc. Entertainment was a little late when the hotel is marketed to families with small children - would be good if it’s a bit earlier.

Very child friendly. Food is high quality. Lots to do. Room was a decent size. Choice of pools. We preferred the quieter pool. The larger pool allows floats. Both nice. The kids softplay and splash park were good also. We used the spa on the last day, but this was expensive as, again - not included in all inclusive.

Buffet was very, very busy. Busiest I’ve ever seen in years of all inclusive holidays. Picture 20+ People queuing for an omelette! Food was great and very varied. There are x 2 a la carte restaurants, but you can’t access these with all inclusive. It’s a shame as they were empty most nights. Other hotels allow usually give all inclusive guests 1 meal in the a la carte restaurants, this would take some of the pressure of the main restaurants! Lots of kids activities but very very busy. We booked high ropes 2 days in advance, when we went to do it, they had closed the course. Nice drink choices but again massive queues - usually 10+ people. Premium spirits and barista made coffees all cost extra.

Just returned after 10 days, me my wife and 9 year old daughter. This was our first all Inclusive in 7 years as we are Diamond Resorts members and therefore used to 5 star high standards but far from snobs. After covid we just fancied something completely different. Found Landmar randomly and so glad we did. This place ticked every single box imaginable. The food, the staff, the entertainment, the cleanliness, the facilities, the location and the views are just breath taking. The food gets a lot of complaints but i honestly dont know why. So much choice, different roast meat each night, fresh grilled meats, and a different fish dish, soup, pasta's, and stews, curries, stroganoff, ghoulash, lasagne etc plus all the regular sides, salads etc.and them desserts 😍😍 Alot said the Landi kids part is limited but whats on there is also on the main buffet (apart from pick n mix sweets) its designed to make the kids feel included, not to limit them. The snack bar outside is constantly stocked with Pizza, chips, hot dogs and a BBQ cooking burgers and chicken.... And again loads complain..... About flies! 😂😂 Yes theres flies. Theres also flies in my kitchen home in West Yorkshire, you cant stop flies! The food is sealed and cant be touched by them and they burn Citronella candles to try keep them away! Drinks. Theres Dorada (local) lager and Sangria on self serve tap and behind bar. Every spirit you could want (far from shy on measures) as a rum man i personally suggest the Honey Rum. plus soft drinks and self serve slushies. All self serve slushies at every bar are non alcoholic .even the cocktail named ones. so dont worry about letting kids dive in and end up smashed. Those behind Reef pool bar are alcoholic. Not very strong but just ask for a splash of whatever you want adding to it! Rooms. We had the Garden suite on B block. overlooking the sea. Big living room with fold out bed, big shower, plenty wardrobe space and the main bed was huge.

No complaints here, apart from having to go home

Great for travelling with children, they have so many things to do. The staff is super friendly. They offer a lot of trips, it is very easy to book though them trips or even to rent a car. Made it very comfortable for us.

Hotel was very noisy at night, with different events every night, but at least they didn't last too long. Instead of a queen size bed we got two individual beds together, not the comfiest. The buffet was alright, but I'd have liked to see more Spanish food.

This is an ideal family resort, the facilities are incredible and we had a brilliant time. The two swimming pools are fantastic, and having one without inflatables etc is a great idea. We loved all the food, the variety was amazing, and there was always space in the restaurant. We had moved from a hotel that was awful, and this place really saved our holiday. They were very hot on people trying to 'reserve' loungers, and we always found a space. Great range of shops and facilities on site, and also close by to walk to. It's a about a 15 minute walk into the town, but beware it's very steep on the way back! Excellent taxis though.

Whilst we had an incredible time, you do need to be careful as with all touristy places, there were scammers/thieves that had got in. There was someone (who had a band on) that pretended he had seen someone steal my daughter's handbag, and then when he "found" it, wouldn't leave until we gave him money (he even tried to get us to go to a cashpoint as we only had GBP). We reported it, and the security team seem to take some action. There was also a very rude pool attendant who on one morning only, refused to let us sit down until 9:30am (we just liked to hang out and read in the morning), no clear reason other than he seemed to be in a bad mood. Other than those two minor things, we really didn't have any problems.
