The room was very clean and comfortable with all you'd expect in a 4* hotel. Air con was very good. Bed was huge with a choice of pillows. Unusually there was a kettle with tea and coffee too. Shower was excellent and lots of hot water. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was good quality and items were replenished very promptly

Although we paid extra for an upgraded room, the room was still small and pretty basic so I dread to think what the original room would have been like. The hotel Bar had a good menu but most of the food was unavailable on both nights we stayed and it was very under staffed Hotel location was in a business district, a 15 minute walk to the seafront. View from our room was over a building site opposite

The location was reasonably convenient to the historic part of the city and the bus station. The staff at reception was reasonably helpful. The room itself was comfortable. The bathroom was fine, though, as usual in European bathrooms, the shower was not fully enclosed so water ran out onto the floor when showering. Otherwise the room was OK, and had a nice front view onto the street. Breakfast was good and had lots of choices for foods/drinks. I would stay here again if I returned to Cartagena.

A fully enclosed shower stall would’ve been nice. A friendlier staff at reception and in the breakfast room would have been welcome.

We had a Junior Suite which was spacious and comfortable and very clean. A very good breakfast and coffees. A very generous selection of emergency toiletries in the bathroom, if you'd forgotten your razor or toothbrush. A great recommendation for the restaurant along the block Tio Andres, it was very busy but the food was excellent. Great location for the 3 Kings Parade which passes straight past the hotel.

There was no shampoo, soap or bubble bath for or near the bath and the soap, shampoo, etc was in fixed bottles on the wall inside the shower or wash basin, which made thibga quite difficult. When we checked in, we asked about breakfast but as it wasn't included the staff member was not keen to offer it to us, even if we paid. We went back to reception later in the evening to book breakfast and it was very good value. Also we were not asked whether we wanted to book for dinner at all, which seemed odd.

The staff, the cleaning was very good 💯.

Well, we will pay for two people a room for 3 even that we was advised earlier that we will come two. 2nd - the hotel doesn't have a parking.... The parking La lonja, with dto% from the hotel incl. is very expensive!!! The Bingo Parking never haven't available places.

The location was great. We couldn’t park in the car park next door but the alternative was very close by and the discount voucher was good. It was also underground and secure. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The bed was extra large as described when we booked. Bathroom facilities really good.

Everything was perfect for our short sightseeing trip.

the room faced the busy street however you could not hear any noise at all which was great. The bed was a bit hard for my like, the ac does not go below 22 Celsius - which is 72 F which is warm for me

the ac could be a little cooler and the bed a bit softer - there was no hook or place to have your towel close to the shower for when you get out. There needs to be a hook close by

Located on the main street in Cartegena with all of the main shops and attractions an easy walk away the hotel was really well placed, very clean and welcoming. The car park next door was safe and secure and good value for money at a discounted 16€ per night.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

It's a lovely hotel, easy to find and each time we've been here parking has been available. Easy walking distance to all historical attractions. Great rooms, very comfortable beds. Modern layout. The reception team Francisco Rocio Andres Vanessa and Antonio were very efficient and helpful

We found the Aircon difficult to regulate, on a normal setting it was very cold during the night.

This was my 4th stay at Sercotel Alfonso XIII. The room is very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. There is a great selection of options at breakfast. I would defintely recommend the hotel. The hotel is very clean and the housekeeping, bar staff and ladies on reception were all really friendly.

Parking - this is the only inconvenience with the hotel, on every stay I have been unable to park at the hotel car park as it has been full each time, the hotel does offer a discount at the closest public car park, which is good, but I often had to park further away at another car park where the discount does not apply, so I was often driving around looking for parking spaces.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful, we had great communication right from the booking stage. The room was a really good size and was very clean. Breakfast was nice and one of the servers went to the trouble of heating the waffles for my son because he preferred them that way which was really appreciated. As ine of my other sons now lives in the area, this will be the hotel I will always book when we visit.
