Terrific hotel, we had a room with a terrace which would be great if it weren't raining! It's a 10 minute walk to town for cafes ect. Very roomy. We had breakfast there which wasn't that good really so would get something in town. Gaudi Chalice is a very short walk and an absolute gem, a must see. There's a palace next to the Gaudi house but they have timed tours which isn't on the website so missed out - feel they should rectify this. The staff are delightful and very helpful.

Step-free entrance, parking near to entrance in own car park, lift and some rooms with step free walk in showers - good for my partner who has reduced mobility. The location is good, on outskirts of Comillas meaning you don't have to drive in; it was walkable for me to go to town and beach in 15-20 mins, and it was an easy drive to a carpark near the old town for my partner. Staff very friendly and room spacious. Hotel is located near lots of lovely towns, villages and coastline and there are plenty of walks you can do in both directions from the hotel.

The breakfast was nice with 'squeeze your own orange juice machine', nice cakes and pastries from the area and they will make you eggs to order but the coffee was really poor quality for the overall price paid for the breakfast (we asked if we could have coffees brought from bar instead of from the machine but we would have had to get them afterwards paid from the bar). Also bar has lovely terrace, whereas breakfast room is in the basement; we were sad breakfast wasn't served there. I would advise to go out for breakfast instead, therefore - plenty of good places in town (one we liked: Panadería Zubiaga).

The hotel is pleasant, there is a nice bar area where we could also work if necessary. The best part of staying here was Sylvia! she was a breath of fresh air. Funny, sweet, helpful and even though she spoke little English and we spoke little Spanish we had a blast with her.

It's a little far out of town to walk in - but the rain may have had something to do with that :-)

Friendly efficient and helpful service. Large room with balcony but not a lot to see. Comfortable beds, good bathroom with bath although no plug ( we had our own, like having a soak after a long walk) Quite area. Lift.

A bit out of the way but good for the Camino the next morning. Would be nice to have a small fridge and kettle.

Clean, large room with nice bathroom. Just 1 min from the Camino. Informative, friendly staff (Daniel), who nicely informed me about everything. Hotel is not in the downtown, but absolutely in a walkable vicinity. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great property which is in a good location easy to walk into town and has private parking. Room was nice and opened to a small balcony. Staff were friendly and breakfast was simple but tasty. Only thing is that I think there should be tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom as really like making when I first wake up. Otherwise all good! Thanks

I liked welcoming to Hotel - very friendly woman was there and she was giving me a room - even I arrived bit early over there. I was informed restaurants near by etc. After walking around town and returning evening I had a nice chat with staff in reception/bar. After went to quiet room without any disturbing noise around.

The room had a balcony. It was a short walk from the centre, beside a park, near the Palace and Gaudi's building and near some good restaurants. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. It seemed like a lively spot.

There was a large party staying that night who were up late and loud in the corridor. The weather was wet and there was no drying facility in the room, the radiators were off and weren't delivering any heat. The room had aircon but it was too loud to leave on at night, maybe I just didn't know how to control it properly. An electric kettle would be appreciated. We didn't dine at the hotel, the prices seem too high for our budget.

A great little hotel. My economy room was on the top floor of the hotel. It was lovely and warm after a cold day walking in the rain. It also had air con for those sunny days. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean room. Comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Highly recommended.

Good location in Comillas with car parking, you can easily walk to the beach, town and sights. Room was clean and spacious, it had a small balcony and traditional furniture. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. (We didn't have breakfast,)

Decor was a bit dated in places. The bed felt hard and uncomfortable for us, but I understand it's a personal preference.
