Location is amazing and view from our room was stunning of the mountains. Rain shower was great. Staff were all lovely and very friendly. Wine from local vineyard excellent. Previous reviews about breakfast weren't great however, I think they had listened and put on avocado smash and tomatoes as well as croissants and various breads. Evening meal was lovely. We had 3 tapas dishes, all served separately which was fine but it would have been nice to have had them altogether. Would definitely stay again.

Some of the fittings and furniture were a little tired. Maybe a coffee machine so you could help yourself to coffee (or tea) at breakfast would be a nice touch? We weren't offered menu of the day for some reason? Not really an issue but other people were offered it.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful in every way. The first thing you notice upon arrival is the breathtaking location—perched on top of a hill with a stunning, secluded and quiet view. This view accompanied us both from our room and from the garden. In addition, the room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The food served at the hotel was excellent, and the local wine was superb. Roberto, the owner, and the entire family hosted us warmly and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed it very much, thank you!!

The room was very clean and comfortable, nice big bed. Great location to visit both Bilbao and San Sebastian, and a beautiful view on the mountains. Parking right next to the hotel entrance. The owners are friendly and welcoming - you can tell they care a lot about their family business and take great care of every guest. It is also very nice that you can have breakfast if you like, and restaurant also has amazing food and wine for dinner. Definitely recommended!

Simple but beautiful quality breakfast, quality ingredients. Plato combinado in the evening really tasty, lovely waitress. Special treat to have barbecued chuleton (a little pricey but worth it). Lovely bed and pillows. Nice shower. Plugs in the right places. Colleague upgraded to the suite which was absolutely stunning. Very good value for money.

This cannot be improved, but a little note if you are a nervous driver the road is pretty steep with sharp bends, but you don't get to see a beautiful view without it - worth it! By choice it is out of the way with potential for some lovely walks. It was full winter, foggy for our trip, and a little out of the way - great for a romantic escape, being close to nature, but isolated, so no evening stroll arounds shops etc. - beautifully peaceful!

We have enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back. The staff members are very nice and the restaurant offers good options for having dinner as well. It was worth the price we paid. The rooms were super clean and the location is very convenient- half the distance between San Sebastian and Bilbao. The views are nice. Use a car when coming to the hotel.

Location, greenery with a peaceful ambient. This family owned hotel has everything what it takes to make your holiday perfect. Staff is also friendly and ready to help and give suggestions.

The nicest thing of this hotel is the location as it is close to San Memes stadium in Bilbao but you need to travel by car or a taxi to arrive to it.

Fantastic location - close to the highway, but you feel like you are in the middle of unspoiled forests. It's worth the drive up a bit to have such spectacular views! The cozy little hotel where you feel at home. Great design and perfect cleanliness of the room and common areas. But the biggest asset of this place is the host, who runs the best restaurant in the area - he has a wonderful intuition for combining the best ingredients, gives excellent advice and serves the best wines not only in the Basque Country, but in all of Spain (we visited this place not for the first time and always take some bottles with us :-D).

a very nice place, perfect for hiking in the area. the views around the hotel are really nice. the host was very nice and the food is good quality.

you definitely need a car or a different mean of transport to reach the hotel as this is situated on top of a hill around 3-4 km from Eibar. The bathroom might need some refresh as the paint seems a bit old. the same with the doors that seems to touch the floor when you open them. 1h to reach either Bilbao or San Sebastian ...not ideal in case you are trying to "commute" to these places.

I liked everything. Roberto and his wife, the family and all the staff were very welcoming. Their service was second to none. The nature and view was perfect. I am definitely visiting again because my stay was too short. I still have fond memories of the place. It was heaven on earth

The customer service from Roberto and his family was excellent. He also provided a taxi service to and from Éibar. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the valley and mountains below from this amazing mountain top property - restaurant food was great - would love to return again.
