Beautiful setting, gorgeous gardens and most of all, lovely people and very welcoming.

Limited choice of restaurants but of course this is a rural hotel. Nevertheless, we had planned to jump in the car and visit Lekeitio up the coast. Forget it. No way can you park there. It looks beautiful from the car, and of course the images ((which is why I wanted to go there)) but of course it was and still is a fishing port and therefore can not possibly accommodate the amount of visitors and their cars (think Cornwall but sunnier!) However, if you’re just looking to chill in beautiful surroundings for a couple of days before striking out to San Sebastián, then you can’t go with this lovely hotel.

Welcoming and helpful couple run this impressive hotel. It’s set in beautiful gardens a short walk from a tiny village which has two restaurants if you don’t want to drive anywhere. Drinks and breakfast available on site were reasonably priced. The view from the room / balcony was exceptional and luckily we had sole use of the pool on the day we used it. With only a few rooms it feels very exclusive. Loads of delightful places nearby to visit. Would definitely go back!

It had nice views and gardens. The room had everything needed, was adequately heated and clean.

Didn't like that we had walk through what seemed like their private lounge, which had a bar and was used as breakfast room, reception. There was a man always watching TV in it and it seemed like we were intruding in his private space. The place is a windy road downhill drive away to any decent restaurants or bars . We could not find a parking at all on the weekend in the harbourside village and ended up not being able to eat. The only bar near the place is inadequate. Suggest that you find out about availability of taxis to and from the restaurants, definitely if you are there on the weekends.

Wonderful hotel in a gorgeous location. The hotel has a super stylish living room and a great breakfast room. The owners offered two options for breakfast, both included their homemade cakes and jam! The owners were extremely helpful with sightseeing and dining suggestions. The view from our room spectacular of the countryside looking out to the ocean. The room was very comfortable and we had a large balcony with table and chairs. We stayed 2 nights and wished it could have been longer.

We loved the stay at hotel Garazar. The view from the room and the garden is beautiful. The hospitality of the owners is another bonus, and we loved the breakfast with the home made cakes. We can only recommend to stay here.

The bushes and flowers at the parking space were very picturesque but should be cut back - but this the only minor topic to complain about.

Before I thought I knew what a 10/10 experience was, but this set a new standard. The tranquility, kindness of the hosts, beauty of the gardens and stars at night, and the helpful directions of the hosts were just amazing. This is a perfect place for relaxing, exploring the nearby villages and beach towns. Couldn’t recommend any higher.

The views of the ocean from a top the mountain for the hotel is and the beautiful landscaping were absolutely phenomenal. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Nice Room, really lovely garden view across to the sea. The people were really helpful and extremely friendly. We only had a short stay but were made to feel very welcome.

Outstandingly beautiful small hotel with stunning garden and view. Breakfast was great. We had the corner room which decorated in kinda 70s style. Overall the hotel had a certain 70s Bond movie style with a huge lounge with Wassily chairs etc.

First time a little bit hard to find but look for the signs and it will be worth it.
