The breakfast was delicious and a wide choice of fresh ripe fruit, croissant/pastry, eggs, ham, cheese etc, home-made yoghurt/jam … Dinner menu offered delicious suckling pig, fish,, range of starters and nice wine Staff very helpful and pleasant

Unfortunately there was a very unpleasant smell of drains in our room that appeared the first morning, went in the afternoon, reappeared overnight, went in the afternoon …. By the time it was time to leave we realised there was a problem and reported it to reception … Bath and shower was in the bedroom (clear glass shower screen), which would not be to everyone’s taste (toilet behind closed door) Lots of items off the dinner menu so choice quite restricted, entrecôte steak very tough (sirloin better), and required to order dessert with rest of meal. Somewhat overpriced

Beautiful rooms, with fires and hot tubs in the quiet countryside. The bed was incredible, and the food and wine was really divine. The hazelnut cake blew our minds.

I would suggest sending a map to visitors, or fixing the Google maps issue, as we ended up in a ditch on a private property, in the rain, and damaged our car. Not the best trip in. The view from the room also wasn’t quite as nice as we expected, but the room itself was classy and cosy.

The staff were pleasant friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a quirky square glass shower cubicle in the bedroom. Coffee facilities and a jacuzzi bath in the room. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Lovely modern accommodation. Great view. Quiet

We were using public transport to get around three Basque main cities. The hotel is on the side of a steep hill providing great views but difficult walk if you wanted to walk home again from town- 3 or 4 km away. Going down was OK but not for the unfit.

An unforgettable experience. One of the best hotel experiences of my life. Stunning location, beautifully designed building and rooms, attentive staff. The rooms are fantastic value for money considering what is on offer.

I’d recommend hiring a car if visiting as it is a little remote and whilst there are some taxis around (which the hotel will organise for you) I think we would’ve found it easier with a car.

Amazingly helpful and kind staff who made the stay very special and comfortable, and gave lots of advice on things to see in the area. The hotel is beautiful and stylish, and the room was incredibly cosy and comfortable with its own jacuzzi bathtub and views of the hills behind the hotel. The hotel restaurant with views over Bermeo and the sea served the most delicious food we ate throughout our whole holiday.

Everything about this place was amazing. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and relaxed. The staff were very lovely, friendly and helpful. The location is stunning and the place is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. Both of exceptional quality We are so happy we discovered this gem. Would definitely recommend.

Newly renovated rooms, many details given attention to, a delicious kitchen for both breakfast AND dinner with a wonderful and reasonable wine selection! Your hosts treat you as family and have a lifetime of knowledge of the area. There are grand plans to enhance the property with Bike storage and even a pool one day, but in this moment it is already luxurious. Perfect sanctuary’s for exploring rural/beach Basque.

The hotel is tucked away in a beautiful area just outside of Bermeo. It feels tranquil, farms and animals nearby, a view of the ocean and pine forests. the people who run the hotel are absolutely lovely—they make sure you are happy and comfortable and enjoying yourself. It’s impossible not to enjoy yourself here. a wonderful location for exploring basque country or just having a relaxing getaway in the countryside.

I wish we could have stayed longer!
