We liked the Hotel very much. We had driven across Spain so were later arriving than we had hoped. We had difficulty finding the Hotel as we had not received their final email giving us more information and directions. We stopped several times to enquire where the Hotel was exactly and finally spoke to someone who actually knew of the Hotel and location.

Our problem was finding the Hotel as we had not received further information or telephone number for the Hotel and had trouble with our car satnav information. Now we have all the information we will be able to find it easily!

The location is great,and the made out business trip is very convenient. Rooms are large and have all amenities you would expect from this category. The garden and facilities outside of the buildings for the guests are also very nice and very well planned. The parking is good and close to the main building. The restaurant offers very tasty and variable menu items. During the day you always find some finger food and sandwiches which is a great addition.

In my opinion the selection at the breakfast could be more wider and variable for the five nights we have been there It was a bit repetitive.

It's a great hotel. The location is perfect, close to city and airport, but it's also easy to reach other sights around Bilbao. The beds are comfy and the room big, as was the bathroom. We had some noise from the neighbours but the staff dealt with this in the best way. They were very friendly and also helped out with other questions. Breakfast was fine; a few more healthy options would have been nice.

The restaurant in the hotel is quite bad. Overpriced and bad quality, and the man serving us was rude and disinterested. Note that this is doesn't apply to the breakfast, which is served in the same place!

Lovely hotel and very pet friendly. Food was great in the bistro and dogs were allowed in the bistro. Lovely surroundings and nice to walk around. Staff very helpful and friendly and rooms comfortable and big.

Price for dog’s experience approx €27 each per night so for our two small dogs that made an additional €54 - but on the up side they were allowed in the bistro bar.

Breakfast is great and till 10.30. Realy good carrot cake but also fresh fruit (and orange juice!) and good tea. Bread is the best bread we ever ate in Europe. People who are helping at breakfast are very friendly and helpful. People who clean the room are not only quick but also clean very well! Nice swimming pool where you can sit outside in the shade or inside near the swimming pool. I only swam twice but I had the swimming pool all to myself. We were allowed to put our roof box in the storage space for suitcases. Nice ambiance in the hotel and very spacious room with sweet terrace. Nice to have a small refrigerator. Good airco.

Perhaps the small pots you have to fill yourself might be slightly bigger. But I drink a lot of tea. On the other hand the brand of tea is really good.

Room and bathroom were great size . Room 209 had a great verandah with a fabulous view. Bar & restaurant were very good. Food menu is small but excellent standard and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the pool on a hot day.Staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. Great stay.

Although it's a large country house there is absolutely no space to walk outside of the building. The outside area consists of carparks & golf course. Very limited availability of outside terrace seating.

The hotel is a beautiful old mansion, in a lovely location up in the hills to the east of Bilbao with nice views of the surrounding hills and valleys. It has an adjoining golf course. The room was very large and comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a small swimming pool in the basement which is free to use for guests (you have to pay €1 for an extra towel and €3 if you want a bath robe to wear to and from the pool). The breakfast buffet was plentiful with hot food, cheese, cold meats, fruit and a good selection of pastries and cakes. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was very good.

The hotel is beautiful and comfortable and met our needs. We needed two rooms on the spur of the moment close to the airport as our flight home was cancelled and we were very pleased with our choice. The food was good, the rooms superb, with balconies and most of the staff pleasant and welcoming

We booked lunch in the bar and dinner in the restaurant but they were both the same menu which was a little disappointing and odd that no-one told us (the very friendly check-in staff booked us in for each meal and didn't mention the menus were the same). The elderly guy who served in the restaurant at dinner was not welcoming at all and was borderline rude, making all of us feel uncomfortable

Lovely big room with little terrace facing to the front. Great for our stay with our two little dogs. They even brought us two dog beds. Nice friendly welcome even though it was 10pm when we checked in. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the port for our morning sail. A little bit of luxury for the last night of our holiday.

Just that we didn’t get to see it properly but from the little we did see I want to go back.
