The staff was very accommodating. We parked at the hotel (the price is 10 EUR per day), which is extremely convenient if you're traveling by car. The hotel has a vending machine for drinks and hot beverages (everything is charged - even a cup of hot water costs 1 EUR). We had no issues with noise from the surrounding rooms. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean (the only dirty spot was the floor under the bed, which we moved).

There is a microwave available in the common area, but it would be useful to have some utensils and/or a glass/cup as well. There was mold in the corner of the room (above the bed).

The rooms were clean and nice, price is unbeatable, and nobody bothered us. A note, the cleaners at the property knock once or twice only before barging in, so be carefully clothed when they knock the first time. The people at the clerk desk speak English!

You have to climb a hill to get there which can be tiring after a whole day out exploring. It’s difficult to access for people with mobility issues due to that, but it’s very close to everything.

The location of the hotel is excellent, it is close to the centre and 7 mins walk to Guggenheim. There is is parking available for 10 eur/night. The hosts are friendly. The room is very clean. The bed is good. Downstairs there is a breakfast room with (paid) coffie and some snaks.

Keep in mind there is no lift. The rooms are quite noisy, a kid somewher next made sure I was not able to sleep

I liked the friendly staff, particularly Itziar, a very pleasant lady who was generous with information about the best restaurants and buses to get around the city and Oliver, also a smiling friendly gentleman. The double room was spacious and spotlessly clean, as was the ensuite bathroom. Clean towels and linen were frequently on offer over our 5 nights from the pleasant lady in charge of cleaning..The substantial windows kept out the sounds of traffic .The location was close to the Guggenheim, a must-see in Bilbao, and dining was great.

Very clean, good location, nice staff. I loved the access code for the outside door and your room. They use the first five digits of your phone number which I thought was brilliant. No keys to carry or card. I would stay there again.

There was no fan or air conditioner in the room. With the extreme temperatures it was difficult to sleep. There was a big window which we appreciated and had open all evening.

We stayed at the Pension La Salve three nights. The place has a convenient location, although one must know local shortcuts (thank you lady from reception for explaining the easy way to get). The room was clean and cleaned on demand. Although there is a road nearby one can hardly hear the traffic. To sum up it is a convenient place to stay in Bilbao.

Everything was ok

Simple and well organised. Not pretending to number anything other than basic accommodation and provides this well at a reasonable price. Good strong water flow in the shower, comfortable beds. Parking a big plus at a good price. A short walk from the Guggenheim. Plenty of eating options within a 10 minute walk

A long walk from the old town if this is your focus, but the tram runs nearby. We didn't try to work it out

Simple but clean, quiet and comfortable rooms only a stones throw away from Guggenheim museum. Very central and perfectly located for a short visit of the city with everything in walking distance. Friendly concierge.

A kettle for making tea or coffee or a little fridge for drinks could be nice.

We broke down with our motorbike and had to find an accomodation quickly. We were lucky to find this pension because everything went easily. The saff was very kind and helpful with us, they are absolutely flexible. Our room was well cleaned. Thank you for the gentleman in the recepcion his help again. The location is pretty good, the rampart and the city center is just 5 minutes by walk.

Although in a residential area, very surprised at how fast & easy to get to old town, the Guggenheim & other spots of interest.

The room was a bit small & there was some traffic noise from the highway (which makes a great asset if driving), but almost anywhere in Europe there’s noise. If not from partying in the street, it’s daily trash pick up, street cleaning or traffic.
