Very polite & friendly staff and extremely helpful all of them. Great decoration of hotel and the building was really in front of Guggenheim Museum Bilbao! They also gave us free tickets. The breakfast was really tasty and with fresh local products. The lobby was great and the breakfast area had a lovely view. I also enjoyed the location- very central, yet not too noisy. The beds were comfortable too.

The fact that the rooms had no wall between bathroom and bedroom, but just a curtain, which means that in the night if you wake up and go to the bathroom and switch on the lights, the whole room will be filled with light and you'll end up waking up the other person. Also our room had no view at all (just a wall), although perhaps this may be because I asked for a quiet room.

The location is excellent if you plan to visit the Guggenheim and the Museum. The hotel is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and close to restaurants. Everything worked. Breakfast was very good with local products and included more than the usual basic gluten free offerings. It was on the expensive side. It's not easy to find after-dinner space for a group of seven travellers in high season, so we enjoyed the evenings we spent very comfortably together in the hotel's well-furnished 'honesty' bar.

Had a lovely short stay at the Hotel Miro in Bilbao after some travel delays turned two nights into one night. The front desk ensured my room was not cancelled when I couldn't make the first night, so all was set when I checked in the next day. Room was a bit on the smaller side, but not unexpected for a "small room" designation. Bed was on the firm side, but I prefer that, so didn't mind. Also, got a complimentary ticket to the Guggenheim from the front desk, so that was a lovely surprise.

Nothing much, to be honest!

We felt very welcomed. I liked the nice little items for comfort, like slippers, paper bag, jellies and felt warmness of hand written messages. The rooms were well cleaned and nicely prepared, the attention to detail in furnishings, and comfort of the room was excellent. There are so many good qualities here that you can't find in big hotels, and my colleagues were happy to stay here, too.

Breakfast was nice but the starting time was little late for our business schedule. It would be nice for holiday use.

The location is amazing and perfectly situated to walk to museums, parks, cafes, shops, bakeries ... anything you want to see in Bilbao. The room is so cool! It's a contemporary design that is well thought out and gives a guest all the surfaces they need to work, rest, store items, etc. The shower is the best I've had in months of traveling throughout Europe. The honor bar on the main floor is unique. Take what you want - snacks, drinks - and simply write down your name and room number. At check out you get a sum total. What a trusting system that makes a guest feel so good.

Can't think of anything I didn't like. The team went above and beyond anything I've experienced in Europe and took care of every need. What a magical place. Even the water is filtered for guests while saving on plastic.

The location is nice, the staff is extremely helpful and nice, always there at the reception, ready to help you. The room has lots of details that make you see that someone cared to design the space so it's comfortable to stay at.

The bathroom separated from the room with curtains, the toilet separated from the room with a thin door that doesn't close fully. I mean, if I was staying there on my own, it would have been perfect. When you are staying with someone, even your partner, you need some privacy sometimes. Also, the bed linen - huge blankets without a proper cover (just pieces that are supposed to line up on each other, though this was rather common in all Spanish hotels I stayed at), and if you don't want to share the blanket, you have 2 overly huge blankets.

Every aspect of this hotel is wonderful and well-thought out. I came to Hotel Miró injured off the Camino de Santiago and needed a place that was comfortable to recuperate. Hotel Miró was this and more. All the members of staff were exceptionally kind — Josu, Aitor, Laura in the spa, and many more I have sadly forgotten. My sister later joined me and they were eager to accommodate. We went down to the Honesty Bar often for bags of ice and they never batted an eye! All to say — gorgeous hotel, great location, spacious rooms, but above all, the staff. Can’t wait to come back — not injured next time, I hope!

Very good price/quality ratio. We were provided with a cot for our daughter but also we were surprised to find a baby bath in the shower and a teddy bear as a gift. We absolutely loved the utilities in the room. It looked small but had many hidden design solutions that made it feel more spacious and comfortable like hidden wardrobe, curtains instead of doors, mobile furniture and more. The breakfast was tasty and versatile.

Not the most convenient entrance for a stroller but this didn’t spoil our stay at all

Our stay at Hotel Miró in Bilbao was excellent, and definitely worth upgrading to a room with a window overlooking the Guggenheim Museum. The staff were accommodating, holding our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. Bilbao, set along the river with the Pyrenees in the background, is a charming small city in the Basque Country—less touristy than Madrid or Barcelona, with a lovely mix of old town streets and modern shopping.

What hotel has a curling iron in the room? Not that this is the most important detail, but it shows the kind of thinking that has gone into making this property a really wonderful hotel. The design, facilities, comfort and particularly the service is some of the best I have experienced. At check in, the front desk clerk started explaining what to do and see, where the pintxos bars are, the old town, museums... most of the time, front desk people have other things to do. They found me a super hairdresser in no time flat, made restaurant reservations and helped us with whatever else we needed. Breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and professional. Great view from the room onto the Guggenheim. Well designed rooms, make-up mirrors, fresh water everyday and turn-down service. We'll be back in Bilbao shortly and Hotel Miró will be our first choice. Thank you!
