Everything, was great. Excellent location, staff really pleasant, comfortable room and bed, great night’s sleep and I would advise you add breakfast as that was really tasty and served on the terrace overlooking the Guggenheim. One of the best stays for a while and I think really well priced for location and quality

The room was clean and had all the facilities you would want ie electric kettle, coffee and tea making. Good products in the bathroom and fantastic rain forest shower but the shower floor was LETHAL. I am pretty sure footed but had to hang on with one hand even when standing still for fear of slipping. Slipped twice and his my toes! I reported this to the reception staff who appeared concerned but nothing was done about it although I asked for a rubber mat. Consequently my partner, who had just come out of hospital in Bilbao with pneumonia, was unable to risk having a shower at all! Very close to the Guggenheim museum and old town. Beautiful city! Try Le Oka. Great bar with great food.

Great Vincci hotel (with the Vincci look, feel - and scent!) in an excellent location close to Guggenheim Museum and walkable into the historic centre along the river. Much to see and do. We ate in the hotel restaurant - enjoyed the food and service (I left a separate review of the restaurant experience).

A small inconvenience - our car was slightly too long for the lift to the car park (if your car is longer than 4.9m, it will not fit into the lift) so we parked at Euskadi car park - a good secure public car park nearby. It was a bit of a pain carrying our stuff - we didn't check if there was an unloading bay outside the hotel though - I would recommend checking that first before going to park your car.

This hotel truly ticks all the boxes. It’s located right next to the excellent Guggenheim Museum and within walking distance of the city center. The design is stylish, the rooms are spacious and spotless, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. You’ll find all the essential amenities in the room, including a kettle for tea and coffee, a minibar, and a full set of bathroom essentials (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer). The rooms are perfectly soundproofed and air-conditioned, ensuring a peaceful stay. The breakfast buffet was varied and generous, with a chef on hand to prepare omelets, pancakes, scrambled eggs, and more upon request. There’s also a Nespresso machine with a wide selection of coffee types. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive, offering a personalized approach and resolving any issues immediately. My stay was flawless, and I’ll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Bilbao. I’ve already recommended it to my friends.

Very welcoming and helpful staff generally. Welcome drink upon arrival, helped us with suggestions for restaurants and attractions to visit, lent us umbrellas etc! Breakfast buffet great and could book on the day no hassle. (Didn't pre-book as part of package so allowed flexibility) Nice terrace area with views of river, bridge and Guggenheim. Room very clean and comfortable size (junior suite). Welcome treats in room was a nice touch and special bath and toiletries for toddler. Good location to visit main attractions and near bus to airport, trams etc. Everything very walkable.

Evening restaurant opens quite late for families (8pm) and staff there weren't that helpful. However, there is a bar with snacks and also room service available. Sofa in room wasn't very comfortable (only a minor thing)

Breakfast was extensive - constantly restocked cold meats. Pastries, breads, cereals and a chef making cooked food to order - eggs etc. you could order coffee to be made if not a fan of pods. Great spot to sit on their lovely terrace overlooking the river and Guggenheim. Brilliant location with opportunities to visit bars and restaurants and go for lovely walks along the river to the old town for some great pintxos We had a night in at the hotel and had a delicious dinner on the terrace with cocktails and wine. The rooms are meticulously clean and very attentive staff. We were upgraded to a river view room which was very special. Fast lifts and quick check in and out. The lounge and restaurant were light, airy with a TV which was not obtrusive. The bar and terrace was a comfortable spot to sit and chat or just relax by yourself (good chairs). Great hotel, very hard working and professional staff. Lovely complimentary chocolate and special Bon bons in the room - nice touch! Great shower - water volume and heat.

I’m not a great air con fan so I would like to have been able to turn the cold down. That is just a preference of mine. The hotel was faultless

Excellent stay! The location is perfect, with beautiful views and a warm, welcoming reception. The rooms are extremely quiet, the soundproofing is truly impressive. We also made use of their bike room, which was very safe and convenient. Highly recommended

The hotel’s parking is only accessible via an elevator, and unfortunately, my van didn’t fit. The temporary drop-off area in front of the hotel was full with other delivery vehicles, so we couldn’t stop there either. The nearby public parking, which is shared with the Guggenheim Museum, was also full at the time. Parking was a real challenge

Super location right next to the Guggenheim, relatively new, really clean modern hotel, fantastic and very helpful reception staff and good parking facilities.

We had a bizarre experience in their terrace bar where we were seated by a staff member but couldn’t get anyone to serve us for approx 20 mins despite the bar not being busy and lots of staff there. We eventually forced a waitress to come to our table, she stood in front of us fiddling with an iPad without making any eye contact with us and then shouted at us “well, do you want to order something?”. Clearly unhappy at being asked to do her job. We left. We reported it to the hotel manager the following morning but who knows if it will make any difference. In summary, it’s a nice hotel in a good location but we wouldn’t stay there again.

rooms spacious, well planned out

The inside room for breakfast did not appear to have air conditioning and was very hot in the exceptionally hot weather. Had I known we may have ordered room service. Also I was expected a free bottle of water in my room (which we arranged as an extra having originally only booked one room) there was a free bottle of water in the room we originally booked but not in the extra room. Additionally there was a kettle to boil water for tea or instant coffee which was okay but I would have preferred a Nespresso machine in the room with a couple of coffee capsules.

Stayed here for two nights before setting off cycle touring to San Sebastián. We were so happy with our choice - the hotel is in a fabulous location, so easy to get everywhere, and right on the water. The staff were super helpful, storing our bikes and large bike box (we will stay again before flying home, and collect it). Our room had river views, was calm, comfortable and spacious. We both slept really well and set off refreshed! The restaurant and terrace for breakfast were really nice, relaxing spaces. Being able to book parking was also a bonus.
