Probably the best place I ever stay, the building is outstanding, modern and new with great style. Location unbeatable, in front of the beach, the room was perfect, everything new, big and really cousy. But the best aspect are the people who work in the hotel. They were super nice and helpful. My partner and I had to work in the lobby (really comfortable for working) and they bring us food from time to time, and they check everything was ok permanently. Overall it feels you are at home.

The hotel is beautiful, Unia the breakfast Man is marvellous, nothing is too much trouble for him. He even made us some homemade bread for breakfast. Every evening, he would make little sweet bread for us. Wrap them up in tin foil and pass them to you . Lovely man, very obliging Makes you feel very much at home . The beds are very comfy, and the bedding is so soft. The pillows are amazingly soft & plump. Would highly recommend this hotel. The views of the ocean are amazing, watching the people surf the waves. We will miss this place but hopefully return soon 🙏

The room was a good size and very nicely equipped and presented. Breakfast was superb, great value for money and served by a very attentive and enthusiastic member of staff. The food was all local produce and served with a care, pride and passion which was so nice to see. The staff were very helpful and keen to offer advise. The sandy beach opposite was immaculate, cleaned daily, a surfers dream and safe with several life guards. This was a real gem of a find. We’d not hesitate to recommend and return.

Nothing. Although no on-site parking there was a large public parking area at the rear of the hotel across the road. Despite no evening meals this gives the chance of trying the local cuisine recommended by the hotel.

A gem of a hotel in the small town of Bakio. The hotel was beautifully decorated and very peaceful. Our room was huge with a lovely comfortable bed, seating area and desk and the view of the sea out of the massive window was a winner! We were there on a wet and wild day but it was still nice to look out on it from the confort of inside! Now on the breakfast and what a feast that was! The hotel is run by 2 brothers and 1 of them does all of the breakfasts(can’t remember his name!) he is so friendly and passionate about their service. The breakfast is a 3 course feast with all local produce and you will go away full for the day. We can also recommend a restaurant called Gotzon which is a 5 minute walk away. Many thanks

This was our third time staying at Hotel Arimune. A rustic former family home sympathetically converted into a delightful boutique hotel overlooking Bakio's beautiful beach. We were warmly welcomed back by the owners and all the staff and kindly given a lovely free breakfast for our loyalty (highly recommend the generous breakfasts - the co-owner is a professional chef). We always have a wonderful time here. Would highly recommend.

On the beach front so from the room you could hear the waves! The beach itself, especially to the right of the hotel, is lovely with very nice views of the sunset. The hotel is extremely well decorated with very comfortable beds. The hosts sent lots of details about how to check in when we were arriving late and answered our questions quickly. We didn't have the breakfast but the coffee machine was free to use outside the breakfast serving hours and was very nice. Would strongly recommend this hotel with the benefit of the public carpark across the street easily accessible, making exploring this area and wider region easy (30mins drive to Bilbao and 1h30 to San Sebastian).

Nothing in particular for us but the bathroom was not fully private. The bathroom has been built into the room with the upper part of the wall missing.

The location close to a beautiful surfing beach half an hour's drive from Bilbao, is spectacular. We had a good view of the sea and our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, with the biggest, plumpest, best pillows I ve ever experienced. I intend to get some similar at home The breakfast was probably the most nutritious I ve ever had. How often do you have the chance to eat avocado, egg, aubergine and tomatoes for breakfast.Guests have use of tea and coffee making facilities. We enjoyed walking to the spectacular Game of Thrones location, Gaztelugatxe ,nearby.

Amazing location and modern furniture, comfy bed.

During my stay it was quite noisy at night due to other guests in the room above me. My room was also next to the stairs, so that I woke up every time someone walked passed it.

The property was beautifully renovated. It was a lot more luxurious than expected. The staff was very friendly and attentive and we really enjoyed our deluxe ocean view room with large window, very spacious and with an extra seating area. The breakfast was great! We had it two days since we enjoyed it so much. Unai was very helpful, friendly and did an excellent job with the breakfast as well as advice on sight seeing spots.

Nothing, no parking on property, but there is easy to access paid parking across the street.

I likwd the space and interior, the lounge area, the decor was nice, with cosy colours and good lighting - perfect to make you feel cosy on a rainy day The staff was really nice. The room was spacious.

the check-in could have been more flexible. i arrived early and there was no-one in the reception. and while it’s common for airbnbs.. in the hotel I did not expect it. but luckilyyhe cleaning staff ;et me in so i could leave my luggage. the cehckout though was very flexible and the staff was nice overall.
