We landed at Bilbao late at night, so just needed a one-night lay-over before onward travel to San Sebastián the following day. The shuttle bus picked us up at the airport and took us back the next day, from where we picked up the public bus to San Seb. Our room was spacious and clean, great shower, fluffy towels. The air con was a tad noisy, but we slept through it ok. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and frankfurters, plus an extensive cold continental buffet and pastries. Our bags were locked away for us whilst we explored Bilbao for the day. All the staff were very helpful. We were really impressed with the hotel and would definitely use it again.

Nothing. We felt this hotel was really good value for money and for one-night at the airport it was perfect.

Convenient location for airport. Can be accessed via bus from central Bilbao. Shuttle service provided was excellent - every 10 minutes and didn't seem busy - we were able to jump in the minibus instantly and were taken straight away. Breakfast included as is standars for Holiday Inn. Perfectly fine for a one night stay either before or after a flight.

Hotel rooms slightly dated and tiling of bathroom/shower area suffering a bit from this e.g. grout in between tiles darkening. However, it was still clean, these are just signs of wear and tear.

The property offers a free airport transfer which is very comfortable to reach the hotel. We stayed for one night before we continued our journey. The lobby is cozy and offers a bar as well as a vending machine to have some drinks after arrival. The offer with complimentary breakfast features a good value for money.

Breakfast was good and plenty, glad they have breakfast as early as 5am. Check-in and check-out was quick. Rooms were decent size, even with baby crib. Yes, the furniture is somewhere little beat up but nothing too bad, like people complain in reviews. Obviously it is the closest hotel near airport so it gets lot of use. Beds were ok. For one night totally acceptable. Price was higher but obviously due to the proximity to the airport.

The caulking around the shower/tub could use a refresh, it wuold be quick fix.

Great pre flight location. Kettle, tea & coffee in room. Excellent reception staff. Clean public areas. Great airport shuttle. Good value breakfast. Comfy room. Free WiFi. Restaurant next door for evening meal (expensive & poor- but not hotel issue)

Bathroom grouting mouldy. Shower drain poor. Sides of sink very dirty. Sink surface OK and room clean. Thin walls so could hear conversations in both neighbour rooms. All quiet in sleep time though..but don't rely on it in future. Next door restaurant ( only option nearby) looked ok but very basic food at expensive gourmet prices & not inviting bar area to linger for longer leisure time- not under hotel control.

We picked this hotel because we had an early morning flight and it was close to the airport. The extra's the offer for travellers where great and a bonus when we booked: we could hand in our hire car the evening before because the hotel has a shuttle service from and to the airport every half an hour. It saved us a little money and it was stress free in the morning because we did not have to hand in the car then. Besides that they offer early morning breakfast at 5 am.

The Staff was extremely helpful in answering all our questions especially regarding our travel plans beyond Bilbao including transportation, dining etc. The breakfast was incredible!

We had a significant piece on our shower apparatus that was broken, so we were unable to really use the shower effectively. I would suggest doing a check of the basic equipment before renting the room. We informed the desk the next morning, and they were going to look into it immediately.

At breakfast the ground floor was very busy and there was one person topping up supplies and collecting dirty/used plates. There were stacks of dirty/used plates on tables that were not being taken away so as to free up tables. There were people waiting to be seated but couldn’t. Others were even cleaning tables so that they could sit down and have breakfast. Eventually someone on from the reception desk came to help.

Huge buffet breakfast even on Christmas day when we were there. They set out the buffet extra early so even those who have the first flight out in the morning have time to enjoy some breakfast. The lady who kept the buffet stocked with hot & cold items was constantly cleaning & insuring everything was full, clean & working. Staff was kind, always greeted with a smile & words & helpful. We would stay here again!! Great for early morning flight. Never saw such a nice arrangement for this price near airport.

This is a budget hotel conveniently located just a few minutes by car from Bilbao Airport. Do not expect luxury but basic bed and bathroom are enough for one night before an early flight next morning. Staff is friendly and windows are soundproof. Hotel provides a free shuttle to and from the airport. Free and ample parking around the building. Inexpensive restaurant next door. Early breakfast buffet starts at 5am. Hotel is showing wear and tear but is a good value overall.

No safe in room. Warm food at breakfast buffet (scrambled eggs, sausages) and fresh breads are not served exactly at 5am but about 20 minutes later when most early birds are already gone for the airport. If your schedule permits it, do not come to breakfast before 5:30am. Rooms in the back of the building face a highway, so expect noise with open windows.
