The hotel is in the old town, the location is perfect, 2 minutes from the tram station. It is very easy to reach the city centre. I travelled alone and felt very safe during my stay in Bilbao. The bed was very comfortable. I didn't have any bad experience, so this is not a disatvantage of the hotel, but only an advise from me. The hotel is good, i recommand it. But if you are a bed&breakfast person - like me :D - then may be this is the city where it is better not to buy the hotel's breakfast, and go to a local bar instead - there are a lot of bar only for 1-2-3 minutes walk away - and eat there some fresh and very tasty food with a nice coffee, the price will be the same as in the hotel. Learn from my mistake, next time i will do like this, it is sure:)

The staff were the highlight of our stay. Very nice, helpful and caring. Their customer service was excellent. The room was very clean, good shower and beds. We asked for extra pillows and it was delivered to our room. We had breakfast at the hotel, it is only continental options, no hot food but it was great quality and good value for money. Certainly worth more than 2 stars.

When we searched for hotels we added the filter of parking because we rented a car. This hotel showed up with parking, but they don't really have any. You can park in a public car park nearby (about a 5 min walk) and pay around 18.50€ a day, which feels unfair when you expect the hotel to provide these facilities. This should be explained in the booking and the hotel shouldn't show up in the parking filters.

Staff helpful and friendly, gave us street map on arrival and called taxi to airport when we left, no need to book in advance, €30/5. Breakfast fine though coffee machine a little “cansado”. Location in Casco Viejo excellent for cafes and restaurants . 20 mins walk along river to Guggenheim or jump on tram there or up to San Mames for bus to San Sebastián.. Metro is 2 mins walk for 1€90 ride to Portugalete. Muchas gracias a todos.

Excellent no frills budget friendly hotel in a super location the place is spotless and the staff are so friendly. I have stayed here before and will stay again as soon as you walk out the door you are surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars

No issues other than the shower being a bit on the small side but in fairness I did book a single room so you can’t expect a large bathroom

The location is the key to this hotel within the walkways of the old town everything we wanted was within easy reach

Street noise on first floor but not too late in the evening or too early in the morning as with few places we've stayed lately there are NO stretchers to put your case on so Lways bending to the floor to select items from your case. Theresa's room for 2 stretchers in the amply sized room.

Great price and I enjoyed the location. Staff is friendly and efficient. The room was incredibly clean and I was allowed early check-in, since the room was already free and clean. I enjoy the hard mattress.

Since the room faced the inner courtyard, there was no external noise, just internal noise due to little sound proof, but that's mostly because of uncivilized guests, rather than the hotel's fault.

The room was in the heart of the old town. We were lucky to have a room with a lovely view. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed during the fiesta and as we were in the heart of things and looked out on the street, it was noisy at night. We didn't really mind, but if you want something quiet you might want to stay further away during the fiesta or ask for a room at the back.

Friendly helpful staff. Lift to 3rd floor. Air con. Hair dryer. Comfortable bed and bedding. Excellent shower over a bath (perfect for a couple where one prefers a shower and the other a bath!) Good screen across bath meant no wet floor. Location in old town, bars and restaurants all around. Close to cathedral, market, river, Metro.

Our room was quite dark as the window looked into an internal courtyard. This was nicely decorated and well kept, but an external window would have been good. Parking would be difficult, as the old town is pedestrianised, and parking beyond that is expensive (as it is in most cities).

Value for money. Great location with restaurants, cafes, mini market nearby. Breakfast provided. Twin room was large and spacious. Has rain forest shower. Staff was informative and flexible for a late check out.

The bathroom door creates a noise when open or close. Aircon outlet was dusty. Coffee machine in the breakfast room needs servicing.

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the old town. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, with WiFi and air conditioning.

The bathroom could have used a bit of maintenance - the sink tap was wobbly and the shower door was slightly broken. The elevator was also not working during my stay, which was unfortunate as my room was on the 4th floor.
