The staff was extremely nice! We got a map, an explanation of all the major things to check out, and even how to get around via public transport, all completely unprompted and extremely helpful 🙌 The location is perfect - right in the old town and in the walkable distance from the city center, while also being close to a metro stop. The bed was really nice! And the balcony from the kitchen area offers a view of the old town street right below!

The floor is creaking quite a bit in some places, to the point where when someone would pass our room by, we would hear the creaking inside. It wasn’t too loud in general, but you could also hear fairly well when someone was hanging in the kitchen area outside. Maybe it was just our room specifically :) Also, it was quite humid after using the bathroom, as there’s no active ventilation and the door doesn’t close fully, so we had to open a window for a while to let the humidity out. But neither of these things made our stay bad, just something to be aware of.

The lady on reception was very helpful and told us all the sight seeing places. She told us about the Barik card which was very helpful as we used it several times and it saved us a lot of money. The hotel is in an excellent location. Close to all the shops, bars, buses and the market is brilliant.

We couldn't get the safe deposit box to work so we had to carry our passports and valuables with us. We're not sure how safe the City is but we never felt unsure anywhere. The lady on reception came to see if it was just us that couldn't get it to work but she shouldn't either. She said she'd get the maintenance man to look at it.

It is a wonderful hotel in the heart of the old town, indeed there are several hotels of the same brand in the old town. The guys working at reception were very helpful and welcoming. Especially I would thank Patricia who recommended me a nice and not expensive restaurant with local cuisine just round the corner. My room was spacious and had all necessary appliances to spend several nights. The bed was comfortable. Everyday I had cleaning service in the room. The location of the hotel is in the nice historical building in the heart of the old town and just 10 min walk from the railway station.

All was great I would just add a small refrigerator in the room.

The room was pretty spacious, the location was amazing and right in the centre and everything was clean. The lounge area was right next to our room and had a handy vending machine. The balcony view from our room was incredible and gave us great views of the cathedral. The same view can also be viewed from the lounge's balcony. The lift up to the hotel's floor took around 20 seconds and could handle all our luggage.

There was constantly a slight smell (possibly a blocked toilet), and the vending machine would sometimes randomly refuse to accept cash.

Great location, great price, clean, comfortable. I felt safe and comfortable as a solo traveler. Completed my Camino in Bilbao. I recommend this accommodation and would stay here again. I appreciated the common room with a water kettle for tea in the morning. I also used a plate and knife for a snack in the evening.

The chemical smell from the cleaning supplies is very strong. I had to open windows and the door to air out the room. I appreciate the cleanliness but you may also want to consider the health of your staff over time.

Nice and convenient stay in the city center. Fabulous that there’s always someone at the front desk to help. Easy room access with a code, no messing with keys or key cards. Right next door is a lovely coffee shop with a good breakfast and several restaurants. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We had a room with balcony, nice to view the streets. They have luggage service if you’re early or staying after checkout.

The shower was not getting warm the first time I showered. It was just warm enough not to be cold. Later it worked fine (I had mentioned it just in case). The shower head is not adjustable in height. Just a minor point though.

Very warm and helpful staff. Nice street view from the balcony. Hotpot and coffee machine available in the common guest room. Very low price for such a premium location and a real old building (we paid 62 euro for one night)

The location is great, but it is a pedestrian street, so you have to carry your luggage at least 400 meters from the nearest parking lot (Arena). The letter from the hotel did not mention the nearest parking lots, which would be nice. The letter also does not say explicitly "3rd floor", so we spent some time on the ground floor trying to find directions from the entrance. There is not enough fresh air in the room unless you open the balcony door, but then it's noisy if you got the street view.

Location is on two of the busiest streets in old town about equidistant from all points of interest. Staff was extremely helpful with all questions.

Room was noisy, it was directly above the street which was active till very late. We used a sound box to make white noise which served us well. The floor boards are old loose and squeaky. Our particular tub was very slippery used as a shower so be cautious. No air conditioning or fans. We had to keep the windows open until bedtime.

The room was clean and comfortable. Also, the hotel was next door to a place that made wonderful, fresh salads--which was a very nice from the pinchos served everywhere. (And, yes, I think I have eaten every type of Spanish pincho known to chefs.)

It would be nice to have a narrow rug in the corridor between the bedroom and bathroom, as the wood floor creaked a bit and I didn´t want to disturb those in the floor below me. However, this is a minor suggestion.

The location is the best you can get in Bilbao. The staff is very polite and helpful.

The windows could be replaced, the air goes through the windows. For me it was very cold in the room, as the heating only turns on at 6pm in the evening but I do believe this is connected to the city central heating so just don’t come to Bilbao in March.
