Very clean, nice room, comfy beds. Lovely to have tea of all varieties and coffee maker. Shower was good. Self check in went well. Nice location. Room bigger than expected.

The noise!! Seriously , would give this place 10 if it wasn’t for the appalling noise at night. Not from outside, as you can shut the window, but from inside with people coming in late, banging in doors, and the couple in the next room having massive rows. Shouting in the corridors until 2am. Even the ear plugs,which were kindly proved, didn’t block it out. We left exhausted after 2 broken nights.

Fantastic clean and friendly place, very comfortable and well thought out apartments. We had a great view overlooking the street from the top central floor. The restaurants and bars were directly below, right in the heart of the old town. Great soundproofing so you can't hear a thing late at night, and perfect shutters to block out the light for a good sleep. The continental breakfast was good, we had a pre-packed breakfast given to us as we had an early bus to catch. There's a great little health food shop on the corner for vegans to get some condiments to add to breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Nothing really, a small fridge would have been handy.

The location was convenient to the areas we were visiting. The access was easy and the breakfast was good. The room and common areas were clean and the staff we encountered were friendly. The soundproofing was excellent as it is a very noisy area late into the night.

The information regarding parking was a tad misleading. Public parking is almost nonexistent unless you are extremely lucky finding one of the few spots available which means the most probable option is the paid parking for around 25 euro per day including taxes. The only other item not properly disclosed until after checkin is there is signage stating that any alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited throughout the property- which does not sound enforceable or inviting.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel thanks to its unbeatable location right in the heart of Bilbao’s old town. Metro and tram stops, as well as the Euskotren station, are all within walking distance, and there are countless bars and restaurants literally at the doorstep. Our room was bright, nicely furnished, clean, and came with a spacious bathroom. The air conditioning was a blessing during the very hot summer days, and because our window faced the inner courtyard, we didn’t hear any of the noise from the lively streets outside.

The breakfast, while tasty, was very limited in choice: just one type of cheese, ham, and chicken, a few jams in small plastic pots, two kinds of bread, croissants, and orange juice. The good Nespresso coffee, available all day long, was definitely a plus, but we would have appreciated a bit more variety to match the otherwise high quality of our stay. The food was also presented on very small plates that ran empty quickly, and it often took quite a while before they were refilled.

This place was fantastic!! There was someone on site most of the time which was rare and it was so nice to have breakfast served (with fresh squeezed OJ) - and coffee 24/7. That was a huge bonus. The two-bedroom was large and comfortable and even though we were in a very busy and loud part of the city (which was a plus), the windows/doors to the outside shut out most of the noise. We couldn't believe how loud it was when we opened up to the street. So we had the benefit of a great location without the downside of the noise. I would stay here again in a second; it was really great! Oh, also, they sent a cab to pick us up at the airport. We were thrilled!

There was nothing we didn't like. We couldn't get in at first because you really have to load all the passports (which I didn't realize) but that was explained and we were sent codes immediately after I sent the passports- even though she could have taken more time.

There's not really anything negative to say.. clean room, comfortable design, comfortable bed (and we're both germanically picky with hygiene and mattresses/pillows), best area in town, distinctly friendly staff, charming breakfast, exclusively pleasant and friendly guests, dreamy balcony and a bed that doesn't creak or wobble. The doors to the balcony also block out the sound of the bustling nightlife very effectively and are equipped with shutter panels that fully block out the sun if so desired.

The only possible downsides are essentially out of the BnB's control, such as dustbins in the street (almost in every street in the area), slightly thin walls though not eccessively so, and the room/bathroom is maybe not especially spacious but far from cramped

Staff very helpful when we arrived and at end of our stay when we wanted to book taxi to airport. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Liked that fact that we could make tea and coffee when we wanted.

Demisting washroom after shower was slow, no way to dry towels effectively (we hang ours on the chairs on balcony to dry). Sockets next to bed did not seem to take our euro plugs which was minor inconvenience even though they fitted fine on floor sockets. Very noisy with window open but we were not convinced that aircon unit was drawing in fresh air, was it just a chiller?

Located in old town and very central to all major attractions, restaurants etc. Room was nice and well cleaned. Bed was comfortable. Good street view from window and double glazed windows worked well to stop street noise. Breakfast was quite good. Elevator in building. Location was excellent but meant that car parking was approx 6-8 minute walk away.

Walls are very thin and can literally hear neighbours conversation clearly which limits your privacy. Felt had to be super quiet all the time. Bathroom also really small. Needed 3 different security codes to access the building, the accomodation and then the room.

It was a really nice stay in the old town of Bilbao. Great location for the Guggenheim and walking around the old town, bars and restaurants, at a reasonable price. The BnB was clean, calm and well-organised. The staff were nice and friendly. Nice to have free breakfast too. Despite being on a busy street, with the window closed it was very quiet.

The only slight stress was having to check in online as we were on the road, I don't have a smartphone and booking.com wasn't working at the service station where we stopped. We did manage to work it out but it would be good to have an alternative solution if there is no one available to check in personally. We were very tired after a long drive and there was a lot of noise from other guests early in the morning.

- Staff communication was great - Self check-in was easy - Room (no. 20) was small but very clean and comfortable. The en suite bathroom was fully equipped with nice toiletries and the shower was very good! - Breakfast is a small self serve selection. Modest but it set me up for the day! Coffee and hot drinks are available from the dining room 24/7 - The bed & breakfast is located in a very elegant resedential building right in the heart of the very lively old town with lovely marble foors, polished wooden staircases and a glass elevator. It felt like a fancy hotel! - The location couldn't be better for those looking to casually explore Bilbao old town and beyond. If you DON'T want to stay in the center of a bustling loud and fun part of town where people party late into the night you might want to look somewhere else. If you DO want to be at the heart of the action this place is for you! The room was quiet enough for me at all times with the window closed but if you are especially sensitive to noise earphones are helpfully provided. Thank you 7Kale!
