The hotel was lovely, very clean and it looked like it was recently renovated. Staff were really nice and friendly. The town was a really nice old town (Plentzia) approx 30 minutes by metro from Bilbao, lovely beach and spotlessly clean.

Not a lot of people in the area have English. Also, restaurants in Plentzia close early (4pm) mid week. So ate at hotel or in Bilbao a lot of the time. Tried to get lunch at 12.30 pm on the Saturday and all restaurants were booked out. So it was hard to know when was a good time to go looking for food. The only criticism I have of the hotel is they could provide guests with some information about pubs and restaurants in the area.

Very clean comfortable room, had air con and en suite bathroom/showerroom/toilet. Hotel situated only 5 mins walk from Metro station. Friendly attentive staff and restaurant/bar available for a la carte or less formal meals. Lift to all floors. Breakfast available but I didn't utilise. Would definitely recommend.

Location in lovely Plentzia. The second room we were given was spacious and clean. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful.

Arrival was shambolic, the first room we were given, being already occupied! The second room was fine but still had a couple of items of clothing in the wardrobe. All was forgiven, as it was fiesta week! Otoh, we left a passport behind (my fault) and the staff found it and were to send it on to our next stay, by courier. To date, no sign…..

Stayed in room 205 for a whole week. Room with river view and bathtub. Lift that connects to the street. Supermarket one block away. Restaurant/bar in the premises. Huge TV. Noise isolation from the street is very good.

No satellite TV. No bathrobe. Lots of dust on the floor and other surfaces. A/C did not work in my room nor my friend's room and it was very needed when days were sunny (although fans were provided). Cleaning could be better, bathtub was not as clean as it should be. Treatment at the bar one night was not very professional.

Clean and comfortable, didn't have much interaction with staff but they appeared to be OK, Plentzia is a beautiful location but it's 45 minutes on the Metro from Bilbao so a bit of a trek.

Food in the restaurant was quite expensive.

We were just looking for a place to stay close to the airport before flying home after a road trip around Basque country - and found this little gem of a hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, modern and central. The staff were fantastic -so pleasant, helpful and attentive. We had dinner there twice - food & service were excellent on both occasions. Nice promenade and beach in Plentzia and a good base to explore surrounding area. Also train/metro stop for Bilbao is close to hotel.

There is no parking at the hotel but there are car parks nearby (it was quite busy on the day we arrived but this was due to a local festival). Staff advised us where to find parking 👍

Adrian was an amazing host. So welcoming for two English only speakers. In house cafe, bar and restaurant were perfect for our informal tastes. Fun to see Plentzia come alive on Friday night and the weekend. Train from Bilbao was the best.

The view from my room wasbeautiful, the bed is very comfortable, the room stays warm despite the cold weather, and the restaurant has great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Very well located hotel with (from our room) great views over the estuary. Staff were very helpful & friendly.

We considered eating in the restaurant but tbh it seemed more of a bar for families & kids.
