Didn’t have breakfast.Location was a 15 min walk to metro.Although the hotel is right on a busy Motorway ,it is totally soundproof.Very clean and new.We booked a standard room and was large.Nice big windows with black out curtains.

I brought my own Tea bags but no faculties in the room .I asked for a kettle at reception and was given one.Bought milk from corner shop and used the bathroom glasses for cups! So that was ok. No full length mirror.

Very clean room and bathroom. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. I requested for a sewing kit, shower cap and iron which were all provided for. There's free parking in front of hotel subject to availability. There's also a direct bus 3414 into the city centre. The bus stops are in front of the hotel.

No housekeeping services after hours. You have to pick them up from reception. The shower head holder needs to be improved as it does not hold the shower head tight.

The room was functional and adequate. The aircon was working well, which is important given the high temperatures outside. The NH team cleaned every day and did a great job. There was hardly any noise outside (room facing the back, not the main road). The parking is an extra cost but comes in handy. Most of the reception NH staff were very helpful and kind.

The clientele seems to be on group holidays and mostly people on business. The breakfast - I walked past and gave it a miss as it did not look appealing by Spain's standards, or compared to the high value for money you can find in nearby Getxo, say. No dinner service in July/August - not an issue given all the options within 5km for those that know the area however with 4stars in the Basque Country you'd expect a stronger gastronomic focus during the peak seasons. I found from locals that the 'restaurant / bar' opposite the entrance appears to be in fact a sex worker night bar. Quite discrete however not the sort of vibe you'd like opposite your hotel. The plastic flora should have been a give away perhaps!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable . The area was in Leioa, a residential area , far from the center of Bilbao . You need a car for sure . In front of the hotel there are plenty of free parking areas. But also the hotel does have private parking at a cost of €7 ( per car ) per day for hotel guests. No need to book. Just decide when you arrive. Great air codition system . Great beds. Great bathrooms .

The breakfast was not included in the room . You can choose out of 3 options . But generally i found it very poor even the buffet option and expensive for what it is offered. There is a cafe very close so you can go on foot ..But remember, it is a residential area and you won't find a lot of shops around. And also there is a club opposite the entrance of the hotel , not very reputable i think , but that has nothing to do with the hotel and the general area, which is very safe .

Excellent hotel a few km from Bilbao. The location is great, there are large supermarkets nearby. The room was large and very comfortable, the bed as well, there was a window with a special view and everything was very clean. The staff is always available even at night and you can park for free in the space in front of the structure.

Location, it’s far away from the city center and the airport, the nearest metro station 700-800 m or 15 minutes by walk, there were no vegetables at a breakfast, upper cover of the bed linen separated and not solid. No restaurant or bar working in the evening inside the hotel.

Personal was very friendly and kind. Especially the cleaning ladies, they were extremely kind with us. All what we asked for, they managed immediately. The room was clean, with comfy beds. The food was excellent. The airconditioning functioned without problem. All in one- Super-A1.

Hotel is in a very quiet location, very well accessible by bus or metro. The breakfast was good, there was no vegetable offered. Recepists were helpful.

The room was quite small with limited options for privacy.

Queen room was very comfortable with wall to ceiling windows on 2 sides. Air conditioning was good. With with option to open the windows. Good underground parking with 2.2 meter access for high vehicles. Nice quiet area right next to dual carriageway.

Happy time NH La Avanzada, Hotel is at good and calm location .The room was clean and pretty comfortable...Happy to spend my days there. Staff personal at hotel were very kind. having a really a good time.and recommend the hotel if you are looking good service.
