Location was perfect. Upgrade was appreciated. Nice walk into town to shops and restaurants. Out the way of the hustle and the rowdy youngsters in the centre. Super clean and the man keeping the paths scrubbed and clean needs a wage increase.

I was in room 252 and the Cockerell next door needed done away with! Two of the staff weren't great. The lady on the front desk was a little argumentative when I said I hadn't had any missed calls "I can prove it to you" she said. I didn't need proof I just didn't have any missed calls. Also breakfast starts at 7am and I arrived at 7.05am it was very difficult to convince him to let me enter.

Beautiful pool and gardens in a great location close to the town centre. We really enjoyed the breakfasts, lots of variety and egg dishes cooked freshly as requested. Dinner was very good too with excellent service from all the staff. The rooms were comfortable but could do with an update.

We had a suite this time and it was okay for size and layout but was very tired and needs updating, room 263. We did note others were in that process of upgrade. The facilities are good and staff excellent apart from the odd one, namely a waiter in the restaurant who did everything he could to avoid serving us but apart from that all good, the actual bar tender was excellent and made us feel very welcome.

Breakfast is buffet style and for the 3 days we were there the cold selection was excellent but eggs, bacon etc were cold even when just coming out of the kitchen. Not much choice for me being Coeliac. Very cold in the buffet so make sure you have a jumper.

Bungalow type hotel. One bungalow contains several rooms (the larger the room, the fewer neighbors you will have). The hotel has a swimming pool, sauna (reservation required), SPA (additional cost), bar. Of course, a restaurant and banquet hall(s?). But we used room service for dinner, so I can't comment on the restaurant itself. But what I can say for sure is that their dishes are quite DECENT! Well, something like Michelin level (both in presentation and taste, ... and in price). So we highly recommend having dinner there at least once. The breakfast is very varied, we can also recommend it. The rooms are quite large (we were in a junior suite) and contain a bath (and a separate shower). Excellent working climate control system (quiet, fast). Well, overall, we stayed overnight as we were moving from the south of Spain to the north. But we would have happily stayed a few more days to get to know the city better and to rest in the hotel. So we'll probably come back...

The hotel is lovely - great decor and beautiful gardens. We didn’t use the pool or spa but they looked fantastic. We ate in the restaurant one night and it was very good. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful

The only reason I marked the score down to 8/10 was the bar staff. They were sullen and surly. No smile or welcome and we waited ages to be served. Even when I stood at the bar the bartender totally ignored me and carried on making a cocktail for another guest. No acknowledgment, not even a ‘be with you shortly’ The same staff fell over themselves to serve locals and off duty staff members It was such a shame, but it really took the gloss off of an otherwise lovely couple of days.

We managed to get a renovated room , which we were very happy about. It has enough space for 2, the bed is huge and comfy, the airconditioning works well and it's quiet. The room was quiet, we didn't hear the neighbours nor any noise from the garden/pool area. The pool area is beautiful, the water is the right temperature , you have plenty of sunbeds and shades. We liked that the hotel guests were all chilled and quiet , everyone respected the relaxing and tranquil athmosphere. It was only one family with 2 kids, who annoyed everyone with their loud screaming, but thankfully it was only during our last 2 days. Very close to Elche city centre. The restaurant onsite is great, with amazing food.

The renovated room meets the expectation of a 4 star hotel. The old room doesn't, it is only a poor 3star hotel quality with super loud air conditioning, rundown bathroom. The breakfast is basic, every day the same. If you arrive later (in the last hour of the breakfast) you wouldn't find fruit nor avocado, cos they don't refill it, so you'd better be an early bird. The serving at the pool bar was very slow in general

It is a beautiful space by the pool and not overfilled with people. It has nice chill out music played all day, which is really good and helps keep a peaceful atmosphere. The staff at reception were very good, as they let us use the facilities, store our bag, and access the sauna shower when we had a very late flight after check out. Pool bar staff were nice too.

The hotel menu was a bit pricey, which meant that we chose not to eat there. We ate in other restaurants around the area, which were better price or we bought food in the supermarket for lunch etc (100 metres away). The gym is a small room with approx 5 machines max in it.Also, it was not a big issue, but the bedroom was a little dark.

The location was perfect, just 20mins by taxi, there is options for buses during normal hours. As other reviews say the hotel is paradise, the wow factor and more! The pool is stunning and the room was perfect. We arrived late at night and the reception gave us a warm patient welcome and gave us directions to the room, which was located close to everything. We had a few hours sleep then early for breakfast, which was much more than expected. So much choice and is constantly topped up, wide selection of breads, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit etc but also had a hot section that had a small choice but exactly what you needed. Again the staff were so helpful. We spent the day chilling at the poolside surrounded by palm trees, freshly made cocktails and soft background music. The hotel is perfectly located with just a short walk into town for bars and restaurants, nice buzz atmosphere for a Wednesday night. We didn't sample the restaurant food but the couples lunch on the next table looked divine. The room had everything you need for your stay, with extra towels and bubble bath for the large freestanding bath and a small reasonably priced mini bar. Overall we cannot recommend this hotel enough and cannot praise it highly enough, it is more than perfect. Thank you.

Absolutely nothing.

This is a really lovely little hotel with a spectacular pool area and ambiance. The pool is lovely during the day and at night and was no problem getting sunbeds. Pool is a little shallow but still good for dipping. Breakfast is varied and generally was very nice. There is a cat family who wander round which was welcome company for us. Highly recommend room 121, oasis room right in front of the pool - probably best room in the hotel. Was nice being able to walk 10m to the pool.

Few little niggles on a generally very pleasant stay. Gym is quoted as a "full gym" and "state of the art machinery" but really is 3 cardio machines, a bench, and dual cables with 3/4 attachments (no rope or single handles). No free weights at all, was hard to get a proper workout in. Staff would not call us a taxi when we were stuck in the safari park and instead left us with a number to navigate the Spanish taxi system over the phone. Was expecting a bit more help for a 4* hotel. Staff otherwise was great btw, it was just frustrating trying to find a way back. Beds a little hard too. Overall still a 9 but just couple of annoying things

A beautiful oasis in a beautiful Spanish city renowned for their palm trees. We stayed in a suite which was very good value for money. Comfy bed and great facilities. The pool was too cold for us in April but others were more intrepid! Lovely comfy seating area next to the pool and we enjoyed the breakfast very much. Parking on site (paid) and an easy walk to the basilica and excellent bars / restaurants.

Service on reception was excellent but not so much the bar area. But only a minor thing.
