It’s a beautiful hotel with very well appointed rooms. The garden is lovely although a lot smaller than it looked in the pictures. The restaurant was brilliant. I had dinner and breakfast both which were excellent

The room was very warm. The air conditioning was a reason I chose this hotel. However it was only on heat although the switch looked like it was for cold (apparently the system can either do heating or cooling depending on the season I found out the next day.) So it git even hotter and I woke up in a sweat at 27 degrees! The bed was very firm and the pillows very hard. I used my clothes instead for a pillow. .

We arrived early and our room was ready which was great because they allowed us to check in before the time stated , the room was really airy and comfortable and the private jacuzzi in our room was fabulous, the spa was very good and not too far from our room and the staff was delightful and helpful with enquiries, it was only a 4 minute ride to the airport , unfortunately we had to check out early due to an unforseen personal emergency at home but would loved to have stayed much longer

The fact that we had to check out a night early but had already paid for 2 nights , i realise it wasnt the hotels problem but it was a family emergency and i think it would have been nice to have been offerred a voucher or something for future stay since we couldnt stay for the full experience that we had paid for

It was great for us as we were catching a 3am flight and provided a very good service for that purpose, i.e. if you need to rest before or after a flight at alicante airport. Spotless . Very good value for money. They will book a taxi to airport at front desk. The full restaurant is only open from 8pm and the menu looked lovely, but to be honest the more limited bar menu was very good quality and service was excellent. Facilities for conference looked very good. Not many facilities around the hotel ( though they have good spa in high season) but that's not why you are staying there. Thank you 😊

Decent sized room with space to move. Comfy beds. Interesting bathroom - there is no door separating it from the room itself so anyone you are sharing with would be able to see you in the shower, so you'd better leave your inhibitions at home! Good quality breakfast with a range of pastries, fruit, cereals, eggs and bacon.

The only thing I could fault is that the hotel's shuttle to the airport was €12 - whereas a standard taxi from the airport arrivals doors to the hotel a few days later on my return to Spain was only €6, for the same length journey. I've travelled pretty extensively and know that many hotels in the UK and elsewhere in Europe offer a free shuttle service - or at least at the same price as a regular taxi.

We have stayed at Areca in the past and we wanted to stay there again on this trip, which is why we chose Areca this time around. Our hostess, and sadly I have forgotten her name was incredible and delivered excellent customer service. She was polite, helpful and really very welcoming.

It seemed that when we turned in the air conditioner, the heat came on instead, but we cracked open the window a bit and it was sorted. I forgot to mention that to the front staff in the morning, but otherwise, the service was excellent and facilities great as always.

Liked location in that is near the airport; liked the staff who were all friendly polite and very helpful; liked the cleanliness, modern decor and garden terrace.

We chose the hotel for a one-night stay as we had an early flight the following morning and this applied to many other guests. The full evening menu did not start until 8 pm and although certain items were available before 8 pm we would have enjoyed the full dining experience to be available earlier. With early wake-ups, one likes to dine and go to bed earlier than was made easily possible.

First class , lovely staff every time we stay at the Areca, very friendly & helpful. Quick replies to any questions before the stay. Lovely clean hotel, good rooms , walk in shower. Very close & convenient for airport.

No service on the terrace on a lovely warm day. No sign up to say there was no service on the terrace & to order inside. Several people were waiting to order drinks & food without knowing there was no service there. No towels in the spa , that was at 5pm opening time. Also, spa should be open from check in time which is earlier that 5pm. Sun beds in solarium were filthy ( they were last time I stayed in August & still are ! ) No tea/coffee making facilities in the room ( maybe this is an English expectation ? ! )

The staff of the hotel were just amazing....the front desk, the staff of the restaurants...all were very professional, curtious and super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very excellent location and the room was superb, very clean, comfortable and the jet bathtub was a great way to relax at the room. I purchased the half board option and did breakfast and lunch. The food was very good and fresh.

The internet connection was slow and kept disconnecting. That was the only issue with my stay, but it wasn't a big deal for me, cause I was there to relax and just have some rest before my next hard trip

I chose this place mainly because it is very close to airport and still not too far of a ride from Alicante city center. The hotel is nicely decorated and we absolutely loved this room! The beds were super comfy and it was perfect relaxation after the busy leg of our trip was over. We loved the jacuzzi bath tub and enjoyed the modern decor. Room service was super convenient and delicious.

The breakfast options weren't outstanding but they were good. I was happy I didn't pay for breakfast to be included everyday so it gave us room to go try at other places and get more for our money elsewhere.

Modern and well kept hotel. Nice breakfast, very friendly personnel in reception (thanks for the reservations and attention during our stay!). Added bonuses of the Spa (covered swimming pool with jets, sauna and steam bath) and the gym at the top floor.

Whilst the room was very modern and well kept, the design has a translucid glass door for the toilet. Not a big problem for us to be honest. Gym: Nice. Suggestion: Perhaps another mat in the gym area for gym/yoga/push ups lovers (there was only one). Air conditioning is manual (you have to turn it on when you come, but worked well and towels/water were provided. Location was fine for us but you probably need a car.
