The hotel is overlooking Portocolom bay, a perfect vantage point to see all the activity of boats coming and going. Rooms have been recently refurbished and mine was just perfect. The bathroom was very adequate. Reception is spacious and staff very welcoming. Breakfast is included and situated in the building opposite. Each morning there was a wide variety of food available - fruits, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, juices, hot foods - boiled & friends eggs, bacon, sausages, etc and a chef was on standby to cook an omelette if desired. There were also plenty of pastries - Danish, croissants etc and pancakes and churros. The coffee machines ‘cafe con leche’ wasn’t far off what you’d expect from a good barista. I couldn’t rate this highly enough.

The weather had picked up and outside temperatures were up to 25C by day. The rooms was a little warm as a result and AC would have been welcome. Mine didn’t seem to work. That said it wasn’t a serious issue and I didn’t ask at the desk.

Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Good location and great value for money.

There was something wrong with the cleaning staff. They always came and made the bed but they didnt change the towels which were on the floor or the dirty glasses. We had to ask reception specifically for these. A lot of things cost extra money. For example, if you want to use the safe in the room you have to pay 3 euros per day. Beach towels are to rent for 5 euros per day. I find it a bit weird for a hotel which has 4 stars.

Very friendly helpful staff, lovely view from room and not too far from lots of good food and places to swim within walking distance. Pool and bar great little refuge as well. nice quiet part of town mostly. Huge variety at breakfast. Very clean everywhere. Was relaxing being adults only. Parking in the street.

The breakfast wasn’t that good for my partner who is vegan, but there was still plenty for him.

We love breakfast, the pool and the pool bar. The staff was very nice, the rooms were the best, beautiful, clean, and great views! And the price was very nice! Also "our" beach was very close and there were many things very close to the hotel, like groceries, bus stop, restaurants and bars.. Very recommended.

We missed the kettle in the room. Also our friend lives on the 7th floor and she didn't have stairs. They're ending on the 6th floor. And the funny thing was the first elevator, which lives his own life apparently sometimes 😁

had to pay for beach towels and housekeeping did not do a great job of cleaning room during stay. did not refresh towels and rehung the towels I put on the floor.

Hotel Vistamar exceeded all of our expectations. Having been to different parts of Mallorca but never Portocolom we didn’t know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. Not a huge amount of restaurants but we never struggled to find a nice dinner spot. The hotel has two outside pools, one with a beautiful sea view. Although separate from the hotel building, they are a mere few steps away. The nearest beach is Cala Marcal less than 10 minutes walk and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve been to, the water is crystal clear. Our room was perfect, comfortable, spacious and with a lovely sea view. The breakfast is quite standard but set us up well for each day. Upon check out, staff happily stored our luggage and we were given access to the pools and able to use the gym showers before our flight.

We booked a taxi to the airport reception and this may have just been our experience but it was 20 minutes late so maybe book for a little earlier if under pressure. That being said our experience at the airport ended up being very quick and we had loads of time!

Missing a water-cooker on the room

Spacious room with balcony cleaned and all towels replaced daily.Not 2 single beds put together,but one big comfortable bed.Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Fast and polite cleaning ladies.24 hours check in/out.Location was great.

Moody elevator(s) that have mind of their own. Breakfast the same every morning;not much variety, but this is a personal preference,perhaps it was just great for other people. The fridge could not cool well and it was slow even on higher settings. Not much ventilation in the bathroom.

Due to high temperature & Humidity the Air Condition struggled to keep the room cool at night making it difficult to sleep. The evening buffet was somewhat limited. The swimming pool closed too early

It was my birthday and I received a bottle of champagne as a gift, it was very nice from them. The hotel is beautiful, especially inside. Price quality ratio was great. You can’t do to much in the town, but there are a few beautiful beaches near by.

The walls are so thin, you can hear everything. But everything else was excelent.
