The facility is located within an ecclesiastical complex, there is a church; one or two schools; and basket and football (the real one) courts. Although so many things going around the room was extremely silent. The view towards la Sierra Nevada was very nice and we get to see the monastery tower from the room. It has a separate a/c unit, which is a plus, because the guest controls it. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the staff were accessible, helpful and friendly. Due to the proximity of Semana Santa, we were able to see a procession of men entering one altar to the Church, which was a very solemn moment for locals, and we were happy to get "trapped by it", since we were able to see a local tradition. Property is adjacent to the historic center, and next to the Genil River, which means you are close to the buzz (Granada center could get very crowded), but not enclosed by it. Restaurants, buses and a Mercadona are within walking distance to the hotel.

Very clean and large room. The center square of the monastery is authentic and original while the rooms have been modernized. The staff is friendly and also available at night. The location is very good: both within easy walking distance of the city center - and further away - while there are also a supermarket and at least two car parking garages super close by. So if you're looking to do a thorough sightseeing trip of Granada by foot and also want to take your (rental) car to the coast for a day trip - I feel this is your best option.

It was necessary to keep the curtains closed during the day because of the cold winter draft through the windows.

Beautiful historic building. Great location. Very large room. Very nice to have all day reception desk. Very helpful staff.

Not worth paying the extra for the room with the terrace since there is no fridge or coffee maker and you can't bring your breakfast back to your room from the dining room. We didn't use the terrace at all. Very strict about not taking any extra food from the buffet, which seems unnecessary. It seems that they could let you take a sandwich and a piece of fruit considering the cost of your stay and of the breakfast.

An amazing building, with a pretty cnetral couryard. The breakfast is plentiful and vaired, the staff were all very friendly and smiley. The location is excellent as its about 10 minutes walk to town, so no distance at all and good for walking off that breakfast or dinner. There's loads of regular buses if you need/prefer. There was sports in the gounds behind a couple of times but we heard no noise so it wasn't an issue for us.

I'm being picky but checkout could do with 2 people as a queue can soon build...especially when the person being served takes ages to do anything...haha. That said there are plenty of regular buses and so we only had to wait a few more minutes and it was not an issue.

Beautiful place lovely big room with comfortable bed. Great shower and lovely sink with marble surround. We had a large terrace with sunbeds umbrella and table and chairs facing the mountains at no extra cost. The hotel was only a 5 min walk into the city centre and there was a lovely bar right next to the hotel. Underground car parking available in the next street, discounted rate for guests €17 a night. Nice buffet breakfast. Very friendly efficient staff. Definitely would return.

Location. Easy to get to everywhere. Taxis were ordered through reception when we needed them. Worth having a balcony room. Rooms spacious and had everything you needed. Small fridge so could store water. Hairdryer in bathroom. Small bar just outside so it made up for not having a hotel bar.

The balcony view was of the sports courts rather than a Mountain View we had expected. Large balcony but… breakfast was not good at all fairly substandard all round so we went out for breakfast instead.

The room had a large terrace attached, which I had booked, but it had exceptional views better than we anticipated so that was a real bonus and at night we had a partial view of the Alhambra Palace which we didnt expect so again another bonus for us. Transport links were really goodm hotel in a really good location as well, very pleased.

We were a bit surprised to see that the terrace overlooked a school and playground, not a problem for us as we are early risers when on holiday, but might have been an issue to some people staying? The hotel did provide ear plugs so they might have feedback before? We also feel that having a coffee machine in the room would have been a bonus, as having a large terrace with a fantastic outlook should be better utilised and nothing better than looking up to the Sierra Nevada mountains in the morning with a good quality cup of coffee seriously think that would be a good idea fir all the rooms with terraces,

The location was great, and the building itself was nice with good facilities. Car parking downstairs was convenient. The apartment was clean, and the reception staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free. The area felt quiet and safe, and it was about a 15-minute walk to the city centre, which suited us perfectly.

AC was not that warm. One of the rooms needed to be swapped which they did for us. But even then it still was not cool enough.

Love the feel of the property. Room spacious, wifi, excellent friendly helpful guy on day shift at the reception.

Can be noisy, room wall very thin, can hear showering, toilet flush, talking and coughing. Guest must be smoking in their room and you can smell it in the corridor. Children playing in the courtyard in the afternoon very noisy, if you like to nap then it’s not your kinda place. Location a bit on the periphery from town centre, still a walking distance. A bit of a hike to the train station, caught taxis both ways.

This is a very central location with access to some small local restaurants, parks within a few minutes. Some of the historic sights are within 15minutes walk. Reception staff helpful, in particular Javier who has a deep knowledge of the local area and with useful tips for tourists. Wonderfully tranquil place as one would imagine formerly a monastery.

Even though it was 'high season' the restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner and the cafeteria was closed, so this did not meet the description on booking.com. There was limited storage space for suitcases and clothes in the room and the bath room was slightly cramped. Parking was in an adjacent car park about 5 minutes walk from the hotel (so again not as booking.com description) also meaning access for dropping off luggage/ people was extremely restricted.
