Location was good, easy walk into the historic centre. Our room had a balcony which was great to relax during our siesta, although at 38C we spent most of it inside with the air con!

The pool area and the pool itself is smaller than it looks. We attempted on three different occassions to make use of it but all the loungers were taken and the pool was too busy to do nothing else but stand around in it.

Great location

It’s almost impossible to reach the hotel by car. We could reach the opposite side of the road and hotel staff told we had to come in front of the hotel so that the valet can take the car. It took 30 minutes to come in front and had to take some restricted roads.

Location, room size, hotel decor, staff very efficient and friendly, good breakfast choices, had gluten free bread and cakes. Very comfy bed and pillows. A small thing to some but it was so nice at breakfast that staff allowed you to have your breakfast without constantly clearing plates. The hotel tapas bar was lovely, live singer one night on guitar was a great touch

On booking it showed that the rooftop pool was open so disappointed when told the bar was closed and no soft furnishings on the chairs so uncomfortable to sit on. The kettle in the room didn't reach the plug from the unit so had to put it on the floor to boil. The underground car park was scary to reach, very steep and small. I had asked before arrival for information on the car parking but wasn't told. I also feel that a charge of 21 euros per night is high.

This hotel is the best hotel we have stayed in for a long time. It is very well run. There was valet parking. Our bags were brought up to the room immediately. Because it was my birthday they gave us a bottle of free Cava and a slice of chocolate cake. 🎂 Reception staff were very helpful in explaining how we can get a discount off any future bookings. The room was cleaned while we were out. None of this nonsense of arriving back and it still not cleaned. We could control the heating and the air conditioning ourselves. The room was soundproofed and we didn’t hear a sound during our whole stay. The bar offer a free tapas which was delicious with every drink. There is a lovely cafe next door where you can have coffee and delicious cakes. Corte Ingles is directly across the road. The pedestrian shopping area is 5 minutes walk away. What’s not to like ❤️

There wasn’t anything. Everything was perfect.

- Beds extremely comfortable and big. - Breakfast was great value for money. - Location couldn’t have been better. - Luggage storage on the last day - also check out was at 12pm which I thought was generous compared to places we have stayed before. - We were kindly upgraded upon our visit to a room with a balcony, which was lovely as we did use it every day to sit and have our morning coffees.

- Our shower leaked for the first 4 days, I did tell the reception but they brushed it off, by the 5th day I think the cleaner had enough of all the towels we had to use to sort it and she had resolved the issue for us, so it was fine after that just wish it happened a bit sooner! - Sometimes it felt slightly under staffed but hey ho, where isn’t these days. - Feel as thought due to the size of the pool and lack of sun loungers it should maybe be an adults only hotel?? Just a person opinion however!

The bed was very big and comfortable. The room had blackout curtains which we appreciated. The room was cleaned every day. The first day we were given complimentary water. It was easy to get to different areas of town and we were close to lots of shops and restaurants. The staff were very helpful! We had a problem with the train tickets we booked and the staff helped sort this. They also helped with recommendations and directions. The rooftop bar had a great vibe and amazing views. We stayed during Holy Week and had a great view of the parade. Lots of tables. Cocktails were good and not too pricey either. USB plugs as well as sockets available in the room.

Although there were quite a few sunbeds and chairs available, these were quickly snapped up. The pool was smaller than I thought it would be. We weren't there to watch TV but it would have been nice to have more English channels to watch something when winding down.

Nice, friendly hotel. 10 minute walk to bars, restaurants, and shops. We were furnished with a map upon arrival, and Maria kindly highlighted places of interest. Breakfast was a good start to the day, with most things you could wish for. Swimming pool is on the small side, and only the brave dare to bare as it was in the middle of the rooftop bar. Sunloungers are sparse, but it's not impossible to secure one, pool towels provided by reception. Drinks here are very affordable, and the water in the mini bar is free. The chambermaid was more thorough than most. Maria kindly ordered a taxi for us and it arrived within 3mins! It costs around €220 each way from/to Malaga airport and is a 90min journey. The hotel can arrange transfers for you. The staff couldn't do enough. A good hotel to use as a base for exploring this lovely city.

We were just a little disappointed that the rooftop restaurant wasn't open. But you won't starve in Granada, food is abundant, and there is everything you could wish for around every corner!

Clean, fresh smelling, all the staff were super nice and helpful. The terrace was great.

The price we paid for didn’t reflect the type of room we wanted. I asked for a double bed and they put 2 singles together. Was our 10th wedding anniversary. Also upon checkout looks as though someone had used our room number to order drinks at the terrace bar which is quite bad, not Barcelo’s fault but if this is a regular occurrence it needs to be looked into. Also the breakfast menu could have done with some Salmon. It had everything else but this. Their isn’t enough sun loungers at the top on the terrace, and are always occupied for people for a long time. So you are stuck with finding a spot on the terrace to sunbathe with deck chairs that recline.

Great modern hotel with a spectacular roof terrace that has a small pool. Our room was spacious with an enormous bed and fabulous shower. A nice little touch was the clothes steamer. In terms of location, it was close to the centre with access to the cathedral, restaurants, shops and bars. Also close to the river. I would say it was a little further from Alhambra than I would have liked. However, there is a taxi rank right outside. Taxis are between 5-6 euros. There are plenty of taxis and a bus for when you return. We enjoyed the choice at breakfast

Rooms at the front of the hotel face a busy road. I'm sensitive to noise, but ear plugs solved the problem. .

Clean new central hotel. Rich breakfast. Hot tub and balcony was great. Nice spacious bathroom. Nice rooftop and downstairs restaurant with very kind and helpful staff there.

I believe there is room for improvement with the reception staff. They appeared quite inexperienced and bored most of the time when we asked them a question.we felt that they weren't quite sure about about IT system and everytime we waved them 'hello' they never replied back . Check in felt longer than usual and we could see waiting lines often at the Reception. nothing went wrong but first impression matters especially in a 4* hotel. Also , we were on our honeymoon and we did not receive any special treat or even a glass of wine.
