Location, room size, hotel decor, staff very efficient and friendly, good breakfast choices, had gluten free bread and cakes. Very comfy bed and pillows. A small thing to some but it was so nice at breakfast that staff allowed you to have your breakfast without constantly clearing plates. The hotel tapas bar was lovely, live singer one night on guitar was a great touch

On booking it showed that the rooftop pool was open so disappointed when told the bar was closed and no soft furnishings on the chairs so uncomfortable to sit on. The kettle in the room didn't reach the plug from the unit so had to put it on the floor to boil. The underground car park was scary to reach, very steep and small. I had asked before arrival for information on the car parking but wasn't told. I also feel that a charge of 21 euros per night is high.

This hotel is the best hotel we have stayed in for a long time. It is very well run. There was valet parking. Our bags were brought up to the room immediately. Because it was my birthday they gave us a bottle of free Cava and a slice of chocolate cake. 🎂 Reception staff were very helpful in explaining how we can get a discount off any future bookings. The room was cleaned while we were out. None of this nonsense of arriving back and it still not cleaned. We could control the heating and the air conditioning ourselves. The room was soundproofed and we didn’t hear a sound during our whole stay. The bar offer a free tapas which was delicious with every drink. There is a lovely cafe next door where you can have coffee and delicious cakes. Corte Ingles is directly across the road. The pedestrian shopping area is 5 minutes walk away. What’s not to like ❤️

There wasn’t anything. Everything was perfect.

- Beds extremely comfortable and big. - Breakfast was great value for money. - Location couldn’t have been better. - Luggage storage on the last day - also check out was at 12pm which I thought was generous compared to places we have stayed before. - We were kindly upgraded upon our visit to a room with a balcony, which was lovely as we did use it every day to sit and have our morning coffees.

- Our shower leaked for the first 4 days, I did tell the reception but they brushed it off, by the 5th day I think the cleaner had enough of all the towels we had to use to sort it and she had resolved the issue for us, so it was fine after that just wish it happened a bit sooner! - Sometimes it felt slightly under staffed but hey ho, where isn’t these days. - Feel as thought due to the size of the pool and lack of sun loungers it should maybe be an adults only hotel?? Just a person opinion however!

Clean, fresh smelling, all the staff were super nice and helpful. The terrace was great.

The price we paid for didn’t reflect the type of room we wanted. I asked for a double bed and they put 2 singles together. Was our 10th wedding anniversary. Also upon checkout looks as though someone had used our room number to order drinks at the terrace bar which is quite bad, not Barcelo’s fault but if this is a regular occurrence it needs to be looked into. Also the breakfast menu could have done with some Salmon. It had everything else but this. Their isn’t enough sun loungers at the top on the terrace, and are always occupied for people for a long time. So you are stuck with finding a spot on the terrace to sunbathe with deck chairs that recline.

Everything! The staff was exceptional. Andrea at the reception desk went out of her way to help with check in and never failed to engage with me genuinely during the entire week I was in the hotel. One of the restaurant managers, Fernando, is one of the hardest working food services people I’ve ever seen. One night it was clear that the cafe on the main floor was short staffed. He never missed a beat…he was even bussing tables so that the guests were not impacted by the absence of servers. The entire staff was cheerful and responsive to any and all requests.

Not one thing.

The hotel is ideally located in the center of Granada. The rooftop has a lovely view of the city.We enjoyed the well appointed rooms and the most extensive and lavish breakfast buffet I have ever experienced. Special acknowledgment Maria Del Mar who checked us in and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants. She also upgraded us to a room with a king bed, which was delightful. The food in the café is excellent. Jose took excellent care of us and also gave us great recommendations about places to go in the city. Overall, an outstanding experience!

Bed was comfortable. Our terrace was lovley to sit in the sun as we had the deluxe room .Very clean.

The roof terrace wasn't open which was very disappointing. When we asked, there was no apology and no reason we were just told on arrival ! We did choose this hotel as they advertise a roof terrace . We thought we would enjoy an aperitif before our evening out and to sit in the afternoon We had a drink in the bar and found the service to be slightly poor. People coming in off the street being given a tapas but we were overlooked. The staff at reception even though pleasant when we spoke to them , didnt look up to hello etc when we arrived back from our day or evening out. They seem slightly disinterested. There was no menu in the room to be able to order a drink to enjoy on our terrace or to be able to by snacks . No room service seemed available

The terrace view was stupendous with the backdrop of Alhambra and mountains. It was our favorite part of the hotel. the brekfast buffet on new years day was also great spread and very tasty. The management offered us free upgrade to the room and also include champagne as part of our request. The room decor was great with the city view.

When we first arrived in the night (late), front desk refused us free parking (sayign it was full) and only on my behest they were able to finally offer us something valet. They should indicate that parking can be challenging if we arrive late to the hotel. Also we didn't get 2 rooms close enough (the other was in the next building).

Stayed 5 days. Superb hotel from the moment you walk through the doors Central and within walking distance to all the attractions, restaurants and shops. Very comfortable with a brilliant roof top terrace and bar which offers breath taking panoramic views of the snow clad Sierra Nevada mountains. I have saved the best for last! The breakfast is definitely in our top 5 of all time and is the first in Europe to make that accolade. You simply have to experience it for yourself to understand!!

Struggling and only for balance but it takes a while to work out the lifts to the specific areas but thats all the more reason to stay longer

Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choices, freshly made, regularly topped up. The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to the centre, the cathedral, the Albaisin and Sacromonte. Just a short taxi ride to the Alhambra. There is a taxi rank opposite so easy to get a taxi when needed. Yea, coffee and a kettle in the room which is great. The view from the rooftop is fabulous, and great to relax with a cocktail at the end of the day or sunbathe and swim during the day.

The bathroom didn’t have a door! Not a problem if you are a couple but strange if you are sharing a room with someone you don’t know very well… I think my teenage daughter would have found that a problem! But all toiletries provided and all very clean.
