Excellent location, near to bus stops. Complimentary breakfast in the café nearby. Friendliness of the owner Martín. Easy to park close to the hostal.

The lights in the room were very dim. Wished they were brighter or at least with the option to regulate them. The alcoves behind the beds were all marked / scuffed.

Martin House is a great base if you are on a budget. No negatives at all. You get a traditional hotel room with ensuite. Very clean. Just take a kettle and hairdryer if you need them. Very generous free breakfast at El Punto just 50m away. We went by car and had no problem parking at the side of the building in August. Our advice is to take the no. 4 bus to the Cathedral stop and buy a two day ticket for 14€ - half price for pensioners - for the tourist train and just hop on and off to get the most of Granada. Fabulous city 🥰

Yes there was a lot of traffic noise up until midnight because this accommodation is on a main road but the upside is the no.4 bus stop just a few metres away goes straight into the city centre for 1.40€. We made good use of it. Anyway, there are two fantastic bar/restaurants within 100m and why wouldn't you want to end the evening at one of those. By the time you get to bed all is quiet 🤫

The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean.

One guest in my group cannot have gluten and there was no option for gluten free with the breakfast at El Punto. If we had known what the breakfast options were before booking, it is likely we would not have booked here. The cars constantly driving by on the street below were loud. We thought that our reservation included free Wi-Fi as stated in the confirmation form email sent, but could not find out how to connect to it.

From meeting Jaun, because we were a little early. Then greeted by sweet young lady, extremely helpful. Then, later meeting the owner Martin, what a very pleasant gentleman, lots of advice & tips on where to go. A special thank-you for a lovely gift of a bottle of rioja for father in laws birthday. Thank you for helping us enjoy our short break.

The only thing we didn't like was having to come back home to Torrox Costa. We will definitely visit again.

The room was really clean. I can't say anything wrong about it. The host offered us very nice Flamenco show. We really enjoyed it! I find the location of the hotel great if you come to Granada by car. It is located far from the busy city center and close to highway. You can easily park nearby for free and every 10 min there is a bus going to the more touristic areas.

The room was very plainly finished but it was fine with us. Indeed, it can be a bit noisy since the hotel is located near busy street. However, if you use shatters, it is quieter. It didn't afect our sleep too much. We still got rested.

A simple, quiet room and a lovely common area with lots of seating and a full kitchen. Great value and a happy stay.

I would like to be able to lock/unlock the room from the inside with no key. We had one key but two people, so the door had to stay unlocked while the key was away.

It's cozy and comfortable. It wasn't big but reasonable for a quick stay. Especially if you're going to be sightseeing more and spend most of the time outside and come back just to sleep then it's fine.

It was a bit noisy because our room's window opened to the road. I couldn't find the remote to the TV.

Very nice host. Gave me a bottle of water on arrival and very welcoming. There was no TV remote in my room but José brought me one the next day. Big bathroom with bidet! Common parts were spacious and comfortable but I didn't have time to take advantage of them

Near busy road, but not a problem as I was out every day and transport links were right on my doorstep. Shower head didn't have a holder but too trivial an issue to complain about.

Martin was very friendly and accommodating; feel like home away from home as he was kind enough for us to use the kitchen & arranged tours & taxi’s which were very helpful

It would have been better if the Kettle was kept in the common dining room inside the guest apartment rather than going to next door which was bit inconvenient

The room has a good TV nice wood drawers and cabinet- breakfast is good -the bed is comfortable-staff answer questions promptly-the cleaning lady helped me to wash and dry my clothes-modern appliances in kitchen and common room

It is a noisy street on one side -the shower doors in bathroom need attention or replacement-overall it is good value and there is a bus nearby to granada and other places.
