Gorgeous, private, QUIET but walking distance to everything - food, bars, waterfront, shops, etc. Private and secured parking with decent sized spaces and a lift were a bonus! We booked the Junior Suite because we wanted a little extra room to move around after being on cruise ships for the past two months. We also wanted a quiet room with a comfortable large bed - this room was one of the most quiet and peaceful hotel rooms I’ve ever had with a bed like a cloud and fine quality linens. Never heard a sound from anywhere - above, below or outside. Air-conditioning worked perfectly. This room was heaven on earth!

Lovely staff, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, good breakfast and only a short walk into the old town. Well designed, attractive hotel in a quiet area. Bedrooms weren't huge but had everything we needed. The restaurant (we had breakfast not dinner) was large and airy, with bar, lounge and a covered terrace. Perfect, we would definitely go back.

The underground car park is a bit of a squeeze for a big car, but we could probably have parked in a street nearby.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. In particular, reception (especially June) and the housekeeping staff on floor one. Credit to hotel. Position of hotel was good and beds comfortable. Great air conditioning. Lots of free nearby street parking.

This is a four star hotel but there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Bottled water was chargeable and there was a surprising lack of toiletries eg no tissues, shower cap. There was one comfortable chair for seating but there is space for two. There were also no chairs on the balcony.

A real surprise as I walked in. The staff at reception were the most helpful people I’ve met in a hotel. Great information and very friendly. If your going to Hondarribia then look no where else. Great food too, comfortable beds and very clean. Absolutely no noise at night. A real gem 👍

Very tight parking but at least you have the option and it’s off street. The only thing I could think of so 👏

Lovely, clean hotel. Helpful and courteous staff. Wonderful visiting Hondarribia and seeing this part of Spain. Beautiful little town with interesting history.

No pool at the hotel and fairly long walk to the main beach. Of course we knew the hotel wouldn't have a pool when we booked, but realised having one would really have made a big difference to us. Two of our party are vegetarian and finding appropriate meals for vegetarians proved difficult.

Hotel set in a quiet village, only 7 mins walk to the center for restaurants and tapas. Find the outside escalators and they take you straight to the center. Staff where lovely and hotel very clean

Only thing I think that let it down was basic breakfast at €22 per person, although we was offered a reduction to €16 euros per person, of which we didn’t use. We didn’t find a restaurant menu in room which could have made our decision to stay for a meal Parking outs have been included, we nearly didn’t book because of this, but you can park easily in streets

Lovely room (we had a suite). Plenty of space. Peaceful with nice grounds. Very friendly and helpful staff. We hired the hotel bikes which was fab for exploring. Easy short walk into town. Supermarket nearby (5mins walk).

Balcony was too small to sit on. Underground parking quite tight to access and spaces are close together. But apparently you can park for free in the roads nearby.

The room was lovely although a mirror in the room would have been good. The only mirrors were in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of wardrobe space but not enough coat hangers. They were all the fixed type and could not be added to as there was no rail. Hanging space was only long enough for short dresses or skirts. My long dresses had to be left folded for our 4 night stay. All members of staff that we had contact with were very professional and knowledgeable about the area. They were also delightful. Nothing was too much trouble.

The evening meal that we had in the restaurant was very overpriced and not very memorable and lacking in flavour too. We had much better meals locally at half the price. It wasn’t surprising that it was almost empty every evening. When we booked there was an option to have breakfast at €20 each per day. We decided that we would walk into the town and have breakfast there each morning. €40 each day for breakfast was ridiculous as we don’t eat much at that time. However, when we arrived we found that there were other options available to us. We had toast and jam and a drink for under €11 for both of us each day. That was exactly what we wanted.

I'm not much of a walker, so sightseeing from the hotel took some effort, especially in the rain (which I'm not used to). Breakfast was plentiful and relatively healthy - good idea to reduce the eggs and 🥓.

The hours for the bar and restaurant didn't match those promised on the internet site. I spent one afternoon without eating - no big problem since I'm overweight 😃

Good staff, breakfast looked tasty although we did not partake due to scheduling on our part

The aircon in the room repeatedly error'd which would have been a problem rather than an annoyance had our stay been in the warmer months. Engineer was booked but our short stay meant I can't vouch for the remedy.
