Friendly helpful staff and perfect location. We have stayed here several times now and it never disappoints. Most rooms are accessible by a stone spiral staircase - this is a mediaeval building so don't expect lifts but it is full of character. They also accept pets and have a few private parking spaces which are very convenient, but there is free parking nearby anyway so no problem if those are taken when you arrive. You can park temporarily when you arrive for unloading luggage etc - it is a semi-pedestrianised area in the heart of the old town. The bar is quite popular with locals and has a nice vibe.

Nothing to dislike. If I am brutally honest the breakfast is fine and nothing to complain about, but there are so many fabulous places nearby that we tend to take breakfast elsewhere. Breakfast is served in an open courtyard which is great in good weather but less so when we are not so lucky.

In the heart of the medieval centre of town, this hotel was a delight. There was a cafe in the courtyard which was just what we wanted after a long drive. The town itself is very interesting and literally across from France. The hotel within a short walk of the main district and we had a fun and delicious meal of pinchos (a variation on tapas). The staff gave us a map and explained how to get around. We would stay there again.

This is a lovely and very unique hotel in a beautiful old part of Hondarribia. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a nice bar attached to the hotel, which attracted locals as well as guests. We booked this hotel the same day so didn’t have much room choice. However, as we had our dog with us, they gave us the biggest room they had, on the top floor with lovely views. The room was very comfortable and clean and the bed very comfy too.

Great location, wonderful bar terrace for evening drinks and breakfast....the latter was a very reasonable price. Right in the centre of the historic old town.

For the price we paid the accommodation was fairly basic, but later we realised our dates coincided with several local events. Parking a bit of a challenge, but staff very helpful in giving advice.

Not much but be aware if travelling with a car that driving to the hotel is through narrow streets( to be expected if in the old town) we had to park our car about 500 meters away. Sound proofing between rooms not the best but wouldn’t stop us staying again

We had the room in front (1st floor (2nd floor in USA) and you see the white framed windows when you approach which we loved as the hotel is quaint and picturesque. Mia (?) was our host and wonderful. There is an outdoor bar and limited but excellent restaurant that locals use in addition to travelers and guests. Very clean and walkable to the entire town which has many excellent restaurants.

No complaints. We enjoyed everything!

This is a delightful hotel in every way. The location is just perfect in the old town. The room was very clean and and the beds very comfortable. If you're lucky you can reserve a covered space directly beside the hotel. There is a beautiful courtyard next to the hotel where you can have breakfast or other meals.

The atmosphere from the hotel is great. Nice people. Beautiful place. I recommend!

The heather could not be stopped while it was very warm outside and the heather on 24 degrees. I told this the next morning, but also the other night was it a problem.

Great location. Staff are very helpful. Lovely outside area to have breakfast.

The room facing the plaza could do with some kind of soundproofing for the bay window. The sound of people enjoying their cocktails Friday 1:30 in the morning is quite loud.
