Spectacular. A beautiful traditional Spanish home with a central courtyard that has been converting breathtakingly gorgeous suites. The price is very fair, the location is very good & the interior if my suite was beautifully furnished with three windows looking onto the street, fully equipped kitchen, nice towels & bedding, espresso maker, etc. Everything you could need in an apartment, it’s there. I was impressed in that there were coffee pods & even olive oil & salt (one evening I stayed in & boiled delicious raviolis & just added olive oil & salt provided; great touch. I also used both the toaster & microwave. The separate bedroom has its own bedroom TV. The bathroom is massive with an equally huge open shower (see pics). I stayed only two night but the studio (really, a one bedroom apartment) can easily be for a long stay, especially for persons traveling on business that must stay in Jerez for an extended period of time. Communication with the host/reception is amazingly fast. The young lady responded to my every WhatsApp immediately & always with kindness & a willingness to do whatever needed to be done to ensure I had a great stay. That type of service, together with the beautiful large fully equipped elegant & spacious apartment (#9) leads me to give the Alfonso X Suites in Jerez a 5 across the board. It was so so FANTASTIC that if there were more stars available, they’d earn them. If you are looking for a fairly priced hotel, don’t look elsewhere; book this one immediately. LOVED IT! Amazing, really.

It was perfect. Only observation (not complaining) is that despite it being a modern elevator in a newly renovated & gorgeous stately home, the lift is very slow. But just relax…it eventually reaches your floor. I’m grateful that host alerted me. Had she not, panic could've set in.

I don't particularly like hotels, so this place is perfect for my independent nature! A beautiful, little, private place to stay. Fantastic location - 5 mins walk to the train station (trains to & from the airport and Cadiz). Jerez is quite small, so everything is walkable from the Suites Alfonzo X. (There's also a wonderful little café across the street - so easy.) Inside is immaculate - clean, quality furnishings, classy, and a lovely calm atmosphere. A comfortable bedroom with balcony and french doors, a little sitting room, two TVs, and a wonderful walk in shower and bathroom. We made tapas in our kitchen area and the coffee machine is fabulous. The walled garden/courtyard is very relaxing too, and a cool swimming pool is welcome. We could take the sun and read. The staff are so sweet, friendly and accommodating, and were available whenever we required any assistance. We loved our stay at the Suites Alfonzo X. We'd definitely stay again ☺️

A very spacious and comfortable suite in a lovely old building. A good location within walking distance of the railway station and a short walk into town in the other direction. First impressions of the surrounding area are not great, the area seems to be going through a process of gentrification, but we were there for a week and quickly got to like the local vibe. The suite was well equipped and the TV had NETFLIX. The cleaning staff we met were lovely.

There was no dishwasher.

This attractive tourist residence is an easy walk from the train station and from the historic centre. The manager was very helpful and welcoming and called us a taxi on the last day. Highly recommend the restaurant La Carboná one street over. The pool in the central atrium must be very welcome in summer.

This studio had a kitchenette but we barely used it; I would've chosen a room without one for some closet space had I known that we'd end up eating out the whole time. The street is quite noisy but the soundproofing is impressive. However, even in February I longed to open a window at night to get some air. We could've turned on A/C for that but it seemed unnatural in mid-winter. Not really a criticism, just meant to help people sort out their priorities.

We had a lovely breakfast in the Cafe/Patiserie just round the corner and very close to Mercadona for shopping. A relatively easy walk to the centre where there are plenty of bars and restaurants as long as you know where you are going

We stayed in apartment No 6 and there was an awful (and unfortunately not untypical) smell of sewer in the bathroom and no amount of running water made any difference. There is a direct connection to the foul somewhere that is missing a water trap. The step between the slightly lower bedroom area will catch some out

Lovely well equipped apartment and view of the lovely pool. Very Spanish flavour to the accommodation (authentic). Air conditioning very effective. It was quietly situated and easy to get to and from places of interest.

More English teabags! Also the floor level in the bedroom changed imperceptibly and I fell down the step when first entering the apartment. The wooden floors were not demarcated to show a step down.

Very spacious apartment, huge bathroom. Nice to be at the top. Bed very good and full kitchen with all items. Big windows with nice view. Even though not in city center, is very easy and close distance walking to center. Nice staff and good help. Supermarket around the corner.

Clean, quiet, very spacious. No problem with wifi. Water pressure good. Bed comfortable. At first I thought the location was too far from the feria (half hour walk), but driving was fine. The little pool was nice. We really did not have any trouble other than a few quirks in the room. Staff was helpful and fantastic.

Staff were fantastic, when you could find them. Unfortunately there did not seem to be set hours for a live body on premises, or an advertised method to contact anyone. There are only about 9 rooms, so I understand the staffing decision. We had a few issues, like the cooktop was locked and the shower water was too hot, that would have been better if we could have gotten immediate help. No parking.

Central location, very quiet rooms, spacious suites, boutique apartments with everything you would need for an extended stay or overnight. Comfy beds, lots of pillows & towels, coffee provided etc. Staff are lovely, speak English well, check in/out is very quick and easy. This was my second stay at the Suites Alfonso X and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Jerez

Loved everything - honestly can't fault anything

Everything was smooth from start to finish, property is really an oasis with very organized, helpful and attentive staff. Firm beds, lots of natural light, small kitchenette where you can make breakfast and beyond. A little courtyard in the back of the casa must be an amazing place to relax during summer months. Definitely the place you’d like to comeback to.

Floors are not sound-insulated, which was a minor inconvenience for us but may be a caveat to some.
