Spacious room. Comfy beds, including an extra bed we've requested. Great soundproofing of the rooms and heavy curtains made for good night rest. Breakfast - both hot and cold buffet selections have been great and always replenished. Late checkout. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were always clean and well looked after. Location - although not in the downtown, it's near the Europa Fira metro station which allowed for easy transfer to and from the airport and the downtown / sightseeing locations. Ikea next door :)

Minor things: Sinks were directly in the room, so morning / evening washing routines were a bit tricky if someone else was sleeping. WiFi was somewhat slow (could be upgraded for an added fee). The bathroom didn't have a ventilation fan. Slight disconnect in the price we've been charged vs. Booking.com price. The pillows could've been a bit thicker.

Everything was brilliant. The hotel is amazing. We got a super room in the 19th floor. The location is cool, new and safe, near metro but obviously not in the center. Price was really good. Breakfast was good.

Difficult to find something that I did not like. Maybe the loud noises that came from the construction site was a little bit uncomfortable.

Before I arrived, I had some concerns about the hotel's distance from the city center. However, I quickly discovered that the neighborhood is one of the best in Barcelona, filled with beautiful buildings and excellent public transport links. The bus and metro stations are conveniently located right next to the hotel, making it easy to reach all parts of the city. One of the most interesting aspects was the view from the top floors, which offered breathtaking panoramas of Barcelona, especially the Olympic Stadium and Tower. There is also a large shopping center nearby, one of the biggest in Barcelona. Although we were not there for shopping, it’s a great opportunity for those who wish to explore. The breakfast was good, offering a varied selection that was adequate to start the day. While it may not have been extraordinary, it provided everything necessary to fuel us for our adventures. For my future stays in Barcelona, Hotel Porta Fira will definitely be one of my top choices. Thank you for a lovely experience!

- They provide a lot of towels - Finally a property with a bidet - Bathroom is separated from shower which is very nice - Working AC - Good water pressure - Comfortable beds - Location far from Barcelona center but quite close to the airport and all transportation

- Shower room leaked water to the room, so we have to shower facing a specific part of the shower - A lot of mosquitos - 2 twin beds together and not an actual queen bed - Location is far from the center but very convenient anyway since it’s close to all public transportation and the airport

Great location for conference center. Iconic design. Rooms were well appointed and spotlessly clean. Quality of food was good.

Being such a great architectural wonder, I had high hopes of this being a special hotel, however, the quality of the finishing and furnishings in the hotel seemed to be somewhat lacking. The corridors were so dark you could hardly read the room numbers on the rooms and my wife commented that she felt uneasy walking along them alone. Service was slow, especially at the bar/coffee bar where staff appeared more interested in their cell phones and idle chit chat than dealing with waiting customers. Gym was sparse and uninviting. A roof top pool or terrace would have been great, or even a roof top restaurant as there is nowhere for guests to sit out and relax away from the busy reception area and the noise and car fumes from the nearby road on the ground floor bar/outdoor patio area.

Location is a bit far from the city (as we have already due to the price), but it’s super well connected by public transport so I am very happy with the location. You feel safe and relax walking around, there is supermarket and shopping mall with major brands nearby too. Very impressed by the customer service, Samantha. She has tried to meet all my requests of asking for a quiet room and check in time. She is also very responsive! Couldn’t be more happy with the hotel. Room is super quiet and the thick curtain blocked all the sunlight.

The decoration inside the room is a bit old, but it’s still clean. And they provide only one bottle of water everyday. No house shoes were provided which was a bit unexpected

The sea view, comfortable bed, the friendly black gentleman on evening shift was most helpful in giving us directions to the Metro, getting the travel card that saved us money. The buffet breakfast was very good. They let us leave our luggage before and after our stay though it would be wonderful if they could let us check in even earlier than 3 when their rooms were not full.

The receptionist who checked us in and the other gentleman in the lobby weren't very welcoming. It would be nice to have an armchair or small sofa in the room for such class of hotel. There was only one single office chair at the desk in the room.

Each morning, I looked forward to indulging in a variety of fresh and flavorful options, from freshly baked pastries to a selection of cheeses and meats. The hotel is close to the airport (10-15min) with easy access to public transportation. The combination of impeccable service, stunning accommodations, and convenient location make it the perfect choice for your stay.
