+ Positives: • The location is absolutely incredible—steeped in history, with an atmosphere that feels almost timeless. • The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and perfect for long hikes. • The staff were friendly throughout. • The hotel is simple but absolutely worth it—comfortable and with nothing to complain about. - Downsides: • They don’t seem to fully understand vegetarianism—I often found ham on my sandwiches, and the dinner options were very limited. • Construction work started at 7 AM, which was a bit too early for a peaceful morning.

Unique location in the Mallorca mountains whether you are catholic or not. Hotel is basic- the beds are comfortable, the couch beds are not. No airco but with natural airing plus a fan this is certainly doable in the summer heat. The venue is an experience in itself. For quality of food we would advise the restaurant near the parking area above the in-house restaurant. Great hiking/running location too.

The couch beds were very uncomfortable, best to move the matras to the floor. The breakfast is even more basic than expected and the coffee machines brew something other than what we would define as coffee.

Santuari de LLuc is a gorgeous location in the heart of the Majorcan moutain. The place itself is an out-of-this-world retreat with scenic buildings, landscapes and paths all around the property to take better advantage of its location's beauty. Also, there is a fascinating arboretum for trees and plants enthusiats or people who just like to take a walk in the shade of this majestic garden and frog santuari. The buildings and patios are well-maintained landmarks, animated by an extremely helpful staff, on either side of the premises, making our stay very pleasant. The food in and around the santuary is great with reasonable prices considering the taste and quantities of portions. Special mention to the Santuari de LLuc's restaurant and service for their generous and diversified breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

It was a positive experience ! :)

The breakfast was simple, but the food was very tasty. The dinner was excellent. You can either choose from a set menu, which includes soup, a main course, dessert, and a drink, or order à la carte from the menu.

We had booked a more expensive room with four beds. However, when we arrived, we were given a room with two beds and two sofa beds, which was listed at a significantly lower price on Booking. We went to complain and encountered an unpleasant man who didn’t want to deal with the issue and didn’t seem to care if we left. Fortunately, a kind lady sitting next to him contacted the manager and offered us a different room. Although it wasn’t what we originally booked, we didn’t want to leave this beautiful place because of the situation.

Very friendly personnel, excellent location, Yes, the rooms are not large -which you can expect in a convent- but the beds are good. The bathroom is small but functions OK. The dinner -included- is as you can expect: OK. The breakfast is excellent .

The sound isolation of the rooms is not particularly good

In short it - it does what it says on the tin and if solitude, nature and beauty are what you're looking for ? this is it and the reception staff were exceptional, especially when I had an issue with my car having run out of battery and needing to call out a breakdown truck, they made the whole issue of the truck being able to enter and leave the car park and help me resolve my issue with my now invalid ticket car park just not an issue - as they could have been real jobsworths and said "nothing to do with us mate ! " but they made a potentially stressful situation for me of a broken down car less stressful and I am so thankful to them for that :)

my room was small but the price reflected that and actually good value..

Fantastic location, amazing views from the room, great staff. There is a lot to see around the monastery and it's a perect starting point for mountain hikes. Comfort was lacking in some ways, but after all it is not a typical hotel and a lot can be forgiven in return for a unique experience.

Furniture in the room touches the tile floor with nothing in-between. We were woken up multiple times by other guests moving in their rooms, and I suspect it could have been entirely avoided by a couple of rugs or chair leg pads. Top blankets were stained and clearly unwashed.

The breakfast was a lovely continental breakfast available in the main restaurant space. The buildings and the land around is very well looked after and has a calm and relaxed atmosphere with views of the mountains. The pool is very good and has a dedicated member of staff looking after it, serving drinks and food.

The room had a very little window which didn't let in much light or ventilation, but added to the atmosphere of a monastery and looked over the internal courtyard so it was very quiet at night. One of the beds was very wobbly with one of its legs looking like it would fall off which was not ideal and the only socket which would fit a European standard plug was in the bathroom, but this was not a deal breaker for us.

We stayed here for one night whilst hiking the GR221. It is an amazing building and location and a brilliant and unusual place to stay. Our room was massive and comfortable, with a good bathroom and shower. We had a very peaceful sleep. The restaurant on site was ok - very busy and staff seemed rushed and made a mistake on our bill. There was no a la carte option although the man on reception said there was a daily menu or a la carte. Breakfast was very good though with lots of choice and plentiful. Overall it was fun to stay in a monastery and we had a very comfortable night.

Honestly one of the highlights of my stay. The location is excellent with plenty of great hiking trails etc nearby. All the staff are very helpful, I would like to especially thank Carolina (I hope I spelled that right) who not only helped me check-in but took the time to thoroughly answer my questions and provide travel tips. She really helped the remainder of my itinerary take shape and I am very grateful!

I mean sure some of the amenities might appear somewhat basic and breakfast was on the simpler side of things, however the room was very clean and come on, you are staying at a Santuari not the Ritz. So not really a complaint, just a heads up.
