The best thing about this hotel is its amazing location - close to the Gran Via and its metro stations, perfect for exploring the city by foot. The staff was friendly and always available to help, and the rooms were decent. Overall, good value for money, if location is your top priority, it’s a solid choice.

The WiFi was unreliable, and the bathroom facilities could be better - no counter space and water escaping from the shower space to the bathroom floor. Just be prepared for these small inconveniences.

The location is great for exploring the city. All the key sights were within walking distance but there are many metro stations in the area too. It was easy to get there on the metro from the airport. This hotel is also a great price compared to a lot of other accommodation in Madrid. There is a communal area with a vending machine, sofas and city views. The room was modern, had air conditioning and the bed was comfortable, if a little small. The staff were friendly and the hotel felt safe.

The walls are very thin - you can hear other people talking and we could even hear someone snoring in the next room. The room was also very small so if you are staying for a long time and have a lot of luggage, space might be tight. The wi-if was also a little patchy and unreliable.

The location is excellent for two main reasons . 1 it’s located in the heart of Madrid and 2 we have a Tesla and just 2 minutes walk is a very convenient public car park with Tesla superchargers and the price for 24 hours is good.

The bed although comfortable was a little on the small side , they could have put a 160cm wide one as there was enough space for it.

The property is great for a solo traveler that wants a small room with its own bathroom for a hostal, that’s located in the city center. Also the hostal is on the 8th floor if I’m not mistaken when you take the elevator, also has a pretty decent view. The bed and blanket are pretty decent too. You also have the ability to control the ac unit which is nice.

WiFi is pretty bad, bring your own shower soap, they provide shower soap but it’s kinda subpar

Everything was great - friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are small but very comfortable and clean. The location is right on Gran via a few minutes walk to many metro stations, and you can walk to all the main attractions (palace, museums). The hostal has a good living room / common area with a wonderful view over gran via buildings from the 8th floor. Thanks Janine, Martine and the wonderful Besaya team.

A kettle and fridge are missing from rooms and always welcome, however there is a great cafe and bakery across the street and supermarkets nearby.

Staff very friendly and nice to travelers. I arrived before check in and help me with my bags… no long after that they told me, my room was ready…. Location is perfect. Just 5 minutes to puerta del sol. And 10 minutes from parque del retiro and el prado museum

To be honest. Everything is nice

Great location, just off the Gran Via, which meant close to the retail centre of the city. Previously, we'd stayed near Plaza de Santa Cruz in the old town district, so this gave us the opportunity to explore another part of the city. And, best of all, both of us were able to fit into the lift with our luggage and back-packs at the same time! haha

Our view was onto the building next door, but that didn't bother us, as it meant it was quiet.

Noise from outside, but considering that hotel location is in busy city center it is unavoidable .

We had a great stay at this Hostal, it was very clean and it is in a prime location next to everything. The receptionists were all kind and helpful throughout the trip. Definitely planning to come back in the future!

Great location, close to metro. Walkable distance to a lot of places.

Very small but comfortable room. Bathroom is small and very close to bed, so privacy and soundproof is not the best.
