We loved the staff at Reception! Very friendly and willing to help. The mattress and pillows were heavenly comfortable. The location was a bit far from the city center, however it was close to Atocha train station and had many city buses running. The nearby metro station was a 4-5min walk from the hotel (Puente de Vallecas stop, Line 1) and it takes you directly to central metro stops, such as: Atocha, Sol, Gran Vía. There are restaurants, pharmacies, bakeries, and a 24/7 Carrefour supermarket around the hotel.

Unfortunately the bathroom didn’t offer privacy. It was not soundproof and the door was just a thin slice of wood, without even a doorknob to close it. The room was not very spacious either, but it was enough to fit two cabin bags and a backpack. The private parking was super tight for a long car and directions to the entrance were not very clear. Luckily, we parked right outside of the hotel.

One of the cheapest places in Madrid within the crazy prices we founnd in this city. The place is very friendly with nice decor, staff was very thoughtful during our stay and they probably were the most positive aspect of our stay, helping to make the best of our stopover in Madrid! Bedroom was basic and the bed was comfortable.

Would just suggest for some upgrade in terms of sound proofing to the exterior, the bedrooms placed towards the highway have a lot of noise from the cars :)

I have traveled for over 40 years staying in basic hotels - this hotel, staff, short walk (four minutes) to the number 1 train - which is the best train for Madrid's sites, was among the best of hundreds, if not thousands, of hotels / motels that I have stayed. The value was excellent, the location was excellent, the room was super clean - I've never seen so many cleaning staff on each floor (I had two rooms - one room for our son and girlfriend on another floor). The hotel staff is super helpful. Also, the area is fun with many shops open late.

Nothing - only wish we could have stayed longer!

- Great location; - Not large but comfortable room; - Very quiet, you could not hear anything from the street; - Nice breakfast.

- The 'handle' of the shower door is a hole open in the glass, on the side of the shower itself. This means that, even with the towel, there will be always water on the floor outside the shower. Also, when you rotate the door to exit, the drops will fall on the ground in the bedroom; - There is no place to hang towels near the shower; - There was some dirt on the walls that could be easily cleaned.

location was good, close to metros which lead you the city center. the lobby was also nice with sitting areas.

Room we're good enough, but quite tight also. getting to the top bunk of the bed was kind of a hassle given how little space you have. AC also hits the person on the top bunk directly, so prepare to get cold.

Accommodation is located 5 minutes from the nearest metro station. Metro line runs directly through Atocha station to the city center. Staff was very helpful, breakfast was good, and overall, everything is OK value for money!

The room was on the ground floor, with a large window looking directly onto the street. The street is relatively quiet, but loud passers-by occasionally disturbed my sleep.

Room was an adequate size. Bed was queen size and comfortable. Breakfast continental style buffet. The fact that breakfast began at 6.30am was a big plus for me. Although just over 2 km from city centre. good public transport options particularly the metro. Various retail shops, bars and restaurants including a 24 hour Carrfour across from the metro station.

It was very basic. I preferred a kettle in my room.

The TV in the room didn't work, the cable was intentionally pulled out of the wall. The elevator card always gave an error, sometimes even at the room door. In the inner courtyard at the smoking area there is no awning to protect from rain or sun.

I loved the Ibis! The staff are super friendly, it was clean and quiet, and it felt really safe. It's next to an enormous highway but it somehow doesn't feel like it. You'll be very close to Puente de Vallecas station on Metro line 1, which is super useful!

I didn't love the toilet in the room...! It's more like a toilet stall, so not a lot of privacy if you're traveling with someone else.

This was my 3rd stay, and it proved to be a good place to send off the package for my Camino de Santiago and a place to return to after the Camino before flying out of Madrid. The staff were all very helpful even in locating my Correos package.
