Exceptionally good yet discreet service, from happy and helpful staff. Grounds and gardens very attractive around nice clean pool. Excellent choice of breakfast. Butterflies and tortoise an added interest. Nightingale sang all through some nights and wide variety of birds around.

Proximity to the airport meant in certain wind directions created very loud aircraft noise on take off. Tranquil for parts of the day but at this time of year, Mid June, busy periods at intervals from 6am to midnight. Not so bad indoors if happy to have all double glazed windows closed and air-conditioning on, but an issue if you prefer sleeping with open windows. Car hire essential.

I had the perfect experience spending a night at Agroturismo Matxani Gran with my teenage niece before checking in into a rental apartment in Binibeca. As our flight landed in the evening, we arranged for a late check in. Our host Yolanda who speaks many languages including English and German -with her fabulous assistant, Kika the dog- helped us with our logistics: showing us the property, keeping our luggages, recommending the nicest beach to spend the following day, even calling a taxi for us… I can’t say enough about the warm hospitality we received at Matxani Gran. The place is absolutely charming and swimming in the lovely bleu pool was dreamy. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had many food options even for a picky teenager! Matxani Gran is a gem in part with the beauty and the quality of the island of Menorca.

It is calm, chilled out; not particularly noisy and even if it is close to the airport and you hear the planes from time time It didn't affect me. I loved the Donkey Rex and I loved the horses and the sheep and the cats and the dog and the people. If you're into animals and a chilled out environment then this is your place. We did some horse therapy - which was kind of sweet. It was just nice! I forgot - you can cook your own food in the kitchen - there is plenty of space to have a dinner with more than 4. There are lemon trees and tortoise in the garden as well as the abovementioned animals. I loved it.

Couldn't say there was anything I disliked.

If you are looking for a Agroturismo leaded by heart which gives you a relaxed feeling right from the start, this is where you should go. The crew was extremly friendly and helpfull. The pool and the animals were super fun. The location was quiet eventhough the airport is near and sometimes there were airplanes you can hear. The breakfast was super fresh and always with specific menorquin food. We totally enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure! Felt like home!

We booked an agriturismo for the contact with the animals: that was disapointing: we only saw turtles Very close to the airport: noise from the planes The small road towards the farm could cause problems: you can not cross with two vehicules

Loved the beautiful property and peaceful surrounings. Great stay - our room was nicely decorated with a mix of art, old features and modern amnesties. Comfortable bed, best power shower, aircon and TV. You can use a well equipped communal kitchen, kids play area inside, honesty bar and lovely pool and relaxation areas. Breakfast had a amazing variety including lical dishes and egg options and was plenty. And best of all super friendly staff that make you feel welcome and have great local tips .

The friendliness of the staff, wonderful space to relax and unwind by the bar and pool, help yourself to drinks. Surrounded by wildlife, sheep and horses. Opportunity to ride!

It’s near the airport, so you hear planes taking off occasionally, and there are no views of the sea, but the house is surrounded by glorious Mediterranean plants and trees, and wildlife. There is a long, narrow, dusty access road a couple of kilometres from Sant Climant, so you need a car.

Weloved the property itself, it is full of character, history and charm. Our host, Yolanda, was fantastic, she lent us beach towels and umbrellas when it rained and even a fan for the kids when it was hot, she really did make us feel very welcome and comfortable. Our daughters were absolutely delighted with the horse riding organised by the hotel. The kitchen is well-equiped in case you want to cook but there are also lovely restaurants and bars nearby. It is also a very short ride away from the airport. Warmly recommend this place for a relaxed family holiday.

The hospitality of Yola is exceptional! She is very kind and recommended us a lot of beautiful locations and restaurants in Menorca. She also kindly upgraded our family to a villa which is amazing and exceeded our expectation! The hotel is very beautiful with lot of flowers, plants, animals and a lovely swimming pool. We found lots of beautiful areas for taking photos.

You need to drive through a long pathway with trees on both side.

This place is amazing! The location is a bit difficult/expensive if you don't have a car (we walked - this was very hard since lots of roads don't have sidewalks). However, the stay as a whole is BEAUTIFUL - never have we stayed at such a nice hotel. It's also a farm, so there's animals (donkeys, horses, turtles (!!)) and so much more, and if you're there on a Monday, you can even ride the horses! Yolanda who works there is absolutely amazing and so kind as well, she drove us to the centre of the town to catch a bus to the beach and gave us other bussing advice since it wasn't online, and everything was in Spanish.

The location is slightly difficult to find. I would not recommend travelling by foot. However, if you have a car, you'll be great - there is a long dirt road to take once you get to the location on Google Maps/Apple Maps, but once you get there, everything will be a lot easier to understand.
